so sept games are as follows:

Swansea home on sat
dortmund away on tue
blackburn away on sat
shresbury home on tue
bolton home on sat
olympiakos home on wed

we should win the prem games although bolton is always a test, swansea have something to prove everygame this season and blackburn maybe so hopefully we pull out 9/9 points there

carling cup we shuold win depending on what mad jumble squad wenger sends out

euro games looking tough hopefully  they had enough practice to gel better by then

If wenger wins anything with this squad I shall christen them "ARSENE'S INGLORIOUS BASTERDS"
This squad is an improvement over what yuh had on Sunday!!! Once Fabregas and Nasri went yuh didn't have much choice. And with de licks alyuh get  on Sunday not too many top players looking to come your way. Maybe yuh won't win any trophies but yuh should still be in the running for a European spot for next season. So thank god allyuh was able to bring in some replacements and back yuh side nah!

I am hence the name! no one is giving them or arsenal a chance in hell i hope they rough up the prem n europe good now, wishful thinking but would be great to watch till next may

Or Benayoun ends up just another version of AA or Rosicky with no real goal just sorta on the pitch and usually loose possession or shoot wild

Premiership newboys QPR also see the transfer as a means to bolstering their inexperienced squad and latest news is that they will be using the monies received to buy a new left back.

Just a little kicks I wrote in my blog: http://arsenalnow.blogspot.com/

Truth about the Traore transfer  ;D ;D

Arsene Wenger is notoriously secretive about his transfer activity, and the latest rumor from an equally notorious source has given us plenty of reason to believe why this is the case. Word on the back pages of scrap book somewhere is that Arsenal actually paid QPR to take Senegalese left back Armand Traore off of the Gunners books. Just when we thought the modern transfer window could not get any more outrageous…

The fee, reported to be around £7million pounds, was negotiated between the two clubs moments after the final whistle of Arsenal’s humiliating 8-2 loss to Manchester United. QPR accepted, but not before turning down a ‘derisory’ bid thought to be around £2 million plus Armand.

It’s the first time in the history of the Premier League transfer window that a team has received a transfer fee for a player coming in, and (despite being the only transfer of this nature) Traore’s move has also been officially listed as a Premiership record for the ‘lowest’ fee ever paid by a club. The figure also sets a QPR transfer fee record surpassing the £6 million the club received from Newcastle United for Les Ferdinand in June 1995.

An unnamed source commented: “We couldn’t believe it when Arsenal made the offer. It just said that they would give us Armand Traore and cash, but didn’t say who they were interested in getting in return. I sat waiting for the rest of the fax… I thought that they must be after one of our academy prospects.”

Meanwhile it is thought that Wenger used complex financial model to compute that with future Champions League qualification at risk, Traore was in fact a £9million liability to the club and that the deal should be viewed as Arsenal clearing its debts – an idea described by club officials as ‘revolutionary’.

With the move completed, Arsenal now have the room to bring in much needed defensive reinforcements. Brazilian international Andre Santos and German stopper Per Mertesacker are thought to be on their way to club. Premiership newboys QPR also see the transfer as a means to bolstering their inexperienced squad and latest news is that they will be using the monies received to buy a new left back.

Moderators, I respectfully request that this thread be changed to "ARSENAL BACKWARD". All in favour say "aye". Last season I commented that arsene9 and his "philosophy" (whatever his philosophy can possibly be, at this point) and men tell meh ah was talkin' shit. Watch rooney put away this penalty to reinforce my point. Arsene9 is done! He need to move on and start coaching youth teams since he like lil' boys so much.

You can farck off and die

To all manu "fans" enjoy your "emphatic" "win" over arsenal, but remember this...

You will always suck my balls and kiss my arse

Shoo fly shoo! Lol
Its more than just the fee you have to look at wage demands and how it fits into your wage structure, plus don't take bolton word for what we offered

Thing is its usually sagna and walcott on the right yet somehow on the left they worked out a few one twos and bam theo in behind

And btw fergie mind games have a new target, the FA and reffs, todays comments will surely have opened up a soft spot in howard webbs granite heart for manu on sunday.

Still curious who will fill the middle for arsenal, everyone associated with manu probably can't wait for kick off, my money is on somehow manu get cheesey sent off

“I would like to say the club is in overall a very strong position because for 15 years on the trot we have played in the Champions League. We have a new stadium, and a fantastic training ground, a very strong financial situation and a very strong team. Sometimes you have to take a distance from the catastrophe people have predicted.”

“We live in a society where everyone has an opinion on everything. I'm like someone who flies a plane for 30 years and I have to accept someone can come into the cockpit and think they can fly it better than I do. But that's our job and we have to accept it.”

- Arsene Wenger

If Wenger is like a veteran pilot then Arsenal is like a plane that's in the hangar because the pilot sold the engines and can't find replacements.

That whole poetry thing doesnt work for ya does it?

it pass over he head like ah plane! allez allez

now now

lets get back home travel up north and deal with manu, which i think will be more of a steal a point than try and beat them.

maybe this team just migth gel if we can stay out of the red cards and get linesmen who see the offside instead of guessing!

gel without Gervinho, Song and Frimpong for the weekend?   ;)

Cant wait for Sunday

allyuh looking at arsenal like a fat kid at a all you can eat sweetie shop!

btw i was talking in general terms for the season not the upcoming game against you lot!

WTF is going on!!!

Mata signs for Chelsea, no body wants to sign for arsenal, arsenal doh want to pay and now they have to pay cus they need the players and wenger gets 2 more Uefa Bans!

Seriuosly where de ass is d jumbie! When will the madness end?

Not a matter of that! The fact is that Chelsea come in and offered 3 or 4 million more for Mata. All the old talk about wanting to win trophy etc. in the end it boils down to money.

thats just what i said friend, wenger doh want to pay and when its time to pay they aint have nobody left worth paying for or that want to come over, even per mertwhatshisname saying nah is ok arsene
we cant even find a decent midfielder to supliment the squad farless fill cesc boots and possibly nasri

seriously 30 million pound for Mata? He is only a theory
what else we have left? our competition are constantly adding and building thier squad  while we hope the fair play rules kick in to help us

this title and thread sums up TnT football nicely

dribble an spanna tuh yuh hearts content even if yuh get out played out skilled out managed and rinsed at home 3-nil.... ::)

we will cheer the small instant gratitude of a dribble but wont cheer when the team knocking ball or tracking back and defending and working hard.

we like it so!
