If it were at all possible, I would give the whole team MAN of DE MATCH. It was absolutely amazing and enjoyable watching that performance. Big up to the Soca Warriors........ Bringon England. That Cornel Glenn substitution was an absolute stroke of brilliance that almost immediately paid off........ can't wait for Thursday........ Have a good night's rest boys.

Well yes, that is really one from the archives.

Anyway I find that the team look real good. I dare say that professionalism is not suit and tie but wearing the correct attire for the occasion. How would a professional swimmer look in a suit and tie during his event at the Olympics. As somebody above said, if they turn up in that for some official function like a dinner or something, well then somebody head needs examining.

To all my fellow forumites who are already in Germany or will be heading there over the next couple of weeks......... what can I say.... just have a wale of a time and remember when yuh representing the RED BLACK and WHITE yuh representing 1.5 million others. The eyes of the world are/ will be on our people to see how we handle the big dance. Win, Lose or draw, let there be positive vibes only......don't be drawn into stupidity with stupid people.

many people put their right hands on their heart as an extra sign of love/respect during their national anthem. You will see it a lot during the WC. Anybody make out how Beenie and Theobald interact when he was coming off the pitch. Beenie real love Theo...I feel this man go sweat plenty this WC. More than we expect...

Yeah, many people do it, but do we always have to follow what other people do. I remember Ato pointing this out some time ago, and I myself was reminded that our thing is ... and has always been.... Stand at attention, with hand straight down the sides whilst the national anthem is playing.

Yeah, so dey say. I've been in there several times since March and everytime I go at the promised date, it has changed to a later date. Anyhow, it is true that they are now saying 25th May but they are not doing printing until June . However Soccer Scene ( next to HMV,just before Tottenham Court Rd.)and also on Oxford Street is supposed to be getting them also. I was told they do printing..names and numbers. The wait continues.

I remember stumbling unto Marc's site when I was In Canada in 2001..... feeling home sick and wanting to be close to TNT and football. Spent a lot of time on it then, practically reading everything. Then I got wind of Flex's site and started going between the two. Only started posting a bit after signing up last year, still spend too much time on this site but I enjoy it so much in the most part, it is difficult to stay away completely. Kudos to the visionaries.
