Brave Mans Jokes

What's the definition of the bravest man in the world??

********************************

Man walks into the bedroom with a sheep under his arm while his wife is
lying in bed reading.

Man says: "This is the pig I have sex with when you've got a headache."

Wife replies: "I think you'll find that is a sheep."

Man replies: "I think you'll find I was talking to the sheep."

********************************

A man walks into his bedroom and sees his wife packing a suitcase.

He asks, "What are you doing?"

She answers, "I'm moving to London . I heard prostitutes there get paid £400
for doing what I do for you for free."

Later that night, on her way out, the wife walks into the bedroom and sees
her husband packing his suitcase.

When she asks him where he's going, he replies, "I'm coming too I want to
see how you live on £800 a year".

*********************************

A woman was shopping at her local supermarket where she selected 2 litres of
low fat milk, a carton of eggs, 2 litres of orange juice, a head of lettuce,
half a dozen tomatoes, a 500g jar of coffee and a 250g pack of bacon.

As she was unloading her items on the conveyor belt to check out, a drunk
standing behind her watched as she placed the items in front of the cashier.
While the cashier was ringing up her purchases, the drunk calmly stated,"You
must be single."

The woman was a bit startled by this proclamation, but she was intrigued by
the derelict's intuition, since she was indeed single.

She looked at her six items on the belt and saw nothing particularly unusual
about her selections that could have tipped off the drunk to her marital
status.Curiosity getting the better of her, she said, "Well, you know what,
you're absolutely correct. But how on earth did you know that?"

The drunk replied, "Cos you're ugly."

Licks, there are several (just about any beach real nice) places you can choose from (maybe Doc can help you out). my recommendation have to be Hilton / Plantations. Resort settings with excellent p)scenery and you have the option for you and your guests to stay there (plus you getting professional service that you can complain it needs be). If you can't find a Hindu priest, just holla and I'll do the ceremony for you, but bear in mind that you will have to pay my traveling expenses, limo to and from the airport, luxury villa at Plantations (with cook and maid service) and for my traveling entourage.

I'll update the pic of the day post with some pics that you take a peek at.

scene.... thanks for the info :beermug:

Forumites,

I'm planning on having a hindu wedding in Tobago.  Does anyone know any places that might be nice.  My finacee and I are quite keen to have it close to or on a beach.  Also, does anybody know if there are any hindu priests in Tobago since she is hindu and I have no clue if there are hindu temples in tobago?

fyi: for a hindu wedding we need a venue that would allow a small fire(it will be in a fire resistant container and will be harmless...but some places will not allow it e.g. coco reef...

Thanks

I notice why a lot of people are not incline to support stern as a legitimate striker, simply because he's not a polished finisher, everything he does, looks scrappy, even simple turns or dribbling looks off key,or rushed, most of his fans might say so long as he gets the job done and I they with allyuh on that, but it seems for every 20 misses he scores 1,now think about how indemand he would be if he scored half or most of his missed opportunities.

But if better can't be done, let the worse continue........

Everybody entitled to their opinion, right ?....even the ones that doh have ah f**kin clue about d game...even the ones that that bum dey f**kin gum loud loud when #14 miss ....even the ones that does jump on d band waggon when he score....even the ones that find it necessary to fight down de man every chance they get.Is like all yuh haters  just be waitin for #14 to miss, throw away or just have ah bad game to come out here and say ''yuh see ah tell yuh so'' All yuh eh have nuttin better to do than fight down d man ..Now everything #14 does ''looks scrappy'' nice time to bum yuh gum, right after the man eh score .How come your Ray Charles observation wasn't posted after the last game ,yuh know d one ah talkin bout nah ,d one wey he fail to make ah ''simple turn'' and  then ''rushed'' an toepee ah cross,is ah good thing  Conolly just so happen to be dey whey de ball land right ?... or de one wey he messup ah one two with connolly and clumsly and scrappily had d ball richoche off he left shin bone and went een right ?or de game before dat when he ''look off key'' and jump up n leh de ball bounce off he ears and go een ..EH !!!...
Doh fool yuhself u eh ''right dey'' with Stern fans on nuttin, you is ah #14 hater fullstop.
Like ah say everyone entitled to dey opinion even de ones that expose demslves to show dey eh have ah f**kin clue bout football far less strikers ?

« on: August 03, 2007, 01:53:24 PM »
Ok, leh meh start. Without going into too much details, there are some points I would like to raise.

1)   NONE of these boys were eligible for a work permit. Fact. No letter from anybody, even Jackula could have helped. The granting of the permit has nothing to do with letters of recommendations. Is like applying for any normal visa/permit. The authorities done decide whether you’re eligible or not. The letter is just to help them make a decision as to if they should grant it to you.

2)   This application and subsequent appeal was rushed, and the participants were not even well prepared. Fact. Not even Rednapp was briefed before going in, as per normal when these things are done. Which leads to my next point.

3)   Who are Mohammed and Davis. As far as I have been able to find out, neither one are licensed agents. Neither have ever gone through the process of getting a work permit for a foreign player (non-EU). This was their first one, and they handled it badly. It starting to look like they eh even know the rules involved in the process with the rubbish they do here. Steups!

4)   Fenwick is ah backside. First you prevent the players from playing the international games which would have raked up some caps to help with the work permit process. Then you want coaches to recommend a player who didn’t play for them? What an arse!

5)   Neither McCormie nor Wim in the wrong. Especially Wim. He himself has advocated players going abroad and getting exposure and experience. But how can he recommend a player he has never seen?

excellent post reds.....it's sad dis youth had to be in de middle of dis politricks...Keep yuh head up boy.....

Yuh talented and chances will come again......

General Discussion / Re: The importance of positive economics
« on: August 01, 2007, 04:54:10 PM »

Econ people, is inflation a first or second derivative?

"Consumer Price Index - CPI: A measure that examines the weighted average of prices of a basket of consumer goods and services, such as transportation, food (fruits and vegetables), and medical care. The CPI is calculated by taking price changes for each item in a pre-determined basket of goods and averaging them. The goods are weighted according to their importance. The CPI is a linear combination of the weighted group averages. Changes in CPI are used to assess price changes associated with the cost of living. Inflation is the rate of increase of the price index per unit of time. It is what mathematicians call a second derivative of price (the index) as a function of time."

I'm not an econ person, but from the definition above, I thought Inflation is dp/dt (p is cpi-consumer price index and t is time) which is a first derivative  :-\...

Do they have to do a play-ff for the Olimpics?

yes, 2nd to 5th placed teams in the pan ams qualify for one of the 3 olympic qualifying tournaments (see dwolfman post above)...so we still have a chance to qualify for Beijing, except the competition will be a lot more competitive

A Heart Breaker.  We play Chile again in the Bronze medal game.

source: http://www.panamhockey.org/eng/compet/2007/2007pag/index.htm

Canada - Trinidad & Tobago : 4-3 (ot)

Canada tried to start as well as Argentina and created two good chances in the opening minutes but could not capitalize on them. T&T was more efficient by Wayne Legerton, who collected a ball lost by the Canadian defense and coolly lobbed the running Canadian goalkeeper. On a well executed penalty-corner, the same player increased the scoring two minutes later and Canada found themselves two goals down within ten minutes of play!

Things nearly got worst for Canada a few minutes later on another penalty-corner, but they settled down and progressively took control of the play, pulling back one goal by Gabber Singh. They thought that they had scored again on a goalmouth scramble, but the goal was denied by the umpire and Canada received a yellow card for their protesting.

Despite been one man down, Canada had all the pressure and created a number of occasions but botched them by nervousness and half-time was reached on the score of 2-1 for T&T.

Canada was quick in the saddle in the second half, scoring by Wayne Fernandez on penalty-corner, and the two teams were back at square one with 33 minutes left in this semi-final. Momentum was with the Canadians, but they were consistently denied by the T&T defense, tightly regrouped around Kwan Browne. Canada finally scored by Ranjeev Deol in the 51st minute, on what originally appeared an innocuous run along the back line.

The game was far from over and Wayne Legerton completed his personal hat-trick after stealing a ball from a careless Canadian defensive play. After an interruption of play to solve an umpiring mix-up (red card given to a T&T player then downsized to a yellow), the match didn’t regain its momentum and had to be taken to overtime.

In an emotion charged extra-time, Canada tried to grab control of the game, but their experience was thwarted by the T&T enthusiasm, until Wayne Fernandez broke the deadlock with his second penalty-corner of the game, setting the stage for another Argentina vs. Canada Final, a standard feature at the Pan American Games since 1975.

when yuh see de replay for the 2nd red card, it was warranted...yuh cah touch de ref, and de man was on a yellow......plain stupidity....
did he intentionally bonce de Ref or was he and the Ref going in the same direction?
or maybe it doh matter

nah he touch de ref hand...and it wasn't by accident.....the ref look at him like he mad, and reach for the card

does anyone know why the commentators call it "the national soccer stadium" when it's named the BMO stadium

it is also known as the national soccer stadium too

here is an except from Wikipedia

On August 31, 2006, the Toronto Star reported that BMO Financial Group purchased the naming rights to the stadium, known then as the National Soccer Stadium.[3] BMO is the stock ticker symbol of the Bank of Montreal, whose operational headquarters are in Toronto. The symbol is often pronounced "BEE-moe", as are references to the bank itself. On September 20, 2006, stadium webcam viewers watched as a banner was raised on the West Grandstand re-naming the stadium "BMO Field". The name was later announced on the team's official website. It is referred to under the National Soccer Stadium name in official references to the U-20 World Cup, as non-FIFA-supporting sponsors are not permitted references.

cool thanks...i thought the name changed....
