Football / Re: LATAPY IS DE KEY!!!!!
« on: June 04, 2006, 03:42:02 PM »
This very interesting post but people let`s put in nut shell Latas must start he is our best player even at this stage in his career, it serves no purpose to bring him off the bench against either Sweeden or England because the way the defence is giving away goals we mite down three at half time without latas on the field to put pressure on the other teams defence, with latas on the field he is going to draw attention hence another player a whittley will have more room to opperate. Bennie has to know this else why would he be resting him, if he has the football smarts we all credit him with he will start latas

79
Touches thanks for the report, All hats off to Latas for all the beautiful football he played over the years. Yes people we have alot of work to do I have always taught  our defence ito be  very weak we have no real sweeper who can really the game and organise the defence. The coach may have to really scarfice and go with a 5 3 2 system for the simple fact we need latas in the middle for his creative genius, as good as yorke has been in the middle we have no choice but to move him up front with either jones or stern, yorke is our micheal jordan he will get the attention and call from the ref that our other players will not get plus he will draw the attention of the defence so the other foward can operate more freely just my take on things

Football / Re: $800,000 a month for what?
« on: April 17, 2006, 07:02:57 AM »
To be quite truthful I did noy bother to read the whole article that was written by dave, for I am thankful that we got a coach of beenie stature for as cheap as $800,000 a month. Dave a paid reporter and is just doing a story to earn his pay check by trying to creat some of controversey. The $800, 000 was money well spent and the end did justified the means. I would say differently if someone or somebody can name  one local coach would the ability and carisma to take us from where we were and take us the worlds biggest stage for any team sport, this is the world we are talking about get, get real Dave lets talk about all those dead politians, crocked cops, and so call leaders religious or other wise who are stealing the futher our youths by blinding them with false hope. Beenie deverses a bonus, which should be paid straight out of Jack Warner pocket

That`s just to show everyone how big jack is in FIFA, blatter needs jack to stay in power so he can`t let them get rid of his big dog. We make not like that crook but I bet if he wanted he could be president of FIFA but is easier to dip in the cash box when you not on the top. Jack`s day will come do worry

Since eveyone is bashing shabazz ( hyron best) let says some things in his defence he is not the only person in some position of authority with a past we have gov`t ministers and crookeed politictions all over TT. Jamaal has a proven track record of working and devolping young playes let me name a few Hudson(barber) Charles, Densil Theobald, Colin(sparrow) Richards in his day, Jerry Moore, just to name a few. This is the same Hyron Best (shabaaz) who was a the for front when AIA Calidonia united was organised, he was also a fine goalkeeper in his day if not the best, I am not condoning his position in the coup but let look at a fellow`s hold record before we condem him. Another what is talent level of the womens football team, me personelly I would leave him as coach they have soon great improvement and is far from being a yes man

IF HE WAS MORE DISCPLINE EARLIER IN HIS CAREER HE WOULD HAVE BEEN FINISHING HIS CAREER AT SOME TOP EUROPEAN CLUB, IT TOOK HIM A WHILE BUT HE IS NOW.
