First of all, the field was bad, plenty big-stone and we goalie (Guerra) had a big swamp in front of the nets. However, I distinctly remember ah fella from the Tobago side (he look like he was 19 and was playing last stopper-ah very angry fella) come to play, and all padna had was ah "Topper Boots" (I hope I spelt it correctly), and ah pair of dress socks, no lie. No shin pads, no football socks, de shot pant was tight, ….de fella just come out to play, like he get recruited that same morning.mickeyrat ah feel yuh does play for ah shit side.ah just jokin breeda.intimidation is only ah mental thing though.buh wuh really intimidate yuh.ah feel was de socks.
Back then we mid-field was hot with me, meh horse Larry Paul, and Sterlin (Men from de East go know- I eh see dem man since Secondary School).
Anyways, talk about hard jam, slid tackle, kick -down. Them fellas put about 12 on we.
Intimidation is a hell of ah ting.
