I could just imagine all those players reading about T&T Football and the constant
tata that goes on and thinking I would love to play for Trinidad & Tobago, they
seem to be on the right path ::)

THE CYCLE TRACK IN THE NEW ARENA was built too small For INTERNATIONAL EVENTS. YES!!! :banginghead: :cursing:

Come now Football Supporter. Fenwick not staying anywhere, if he is not getting paid. I assume Plaza & Winchester had agents, it is the agents who should have looked
after translators and lawyers for the players contracts. Now all of a sudden the Belgium deal falls through and its TTFA who must clean up the mess. Technically the Pro League window is closed until January.
Ques: Did Central FC get paid for the Players?
Did the agents collect on the transfer?

Have a good feeling about this game. Ecuador will play counter attack and if they score first, park the airplane & bus
Yaya & Mollen both will score for sure.

Is everyone happy with Mr.Fuentes work ethics? The time it takes to publish videos, the questions and manner in which he does interviews?

Are we a high school team or a soccer mom video taping our kids after school? If no it certainly is viewed as such.

I have suggestions, tryout new people, get Mr.Fuentes some help, especially with editing. .

All that needs money & TTFA have not been paying office staff, have no phones working or fax. And you expect a first class website  ??? we lucky we not getting Morse Code

I feel a Super League team should be able to beat Guadeloupe.

Why just spew out such nonsense. Guadeloupe has been doing better at Gold Cup more consistently than T&T.

This same U20 team gave Club Sando the top Super League Team 4.

Guadeloupe has more players playing top level football than T&T. Like Haiti, they can produce an entire squad that plays in France League 1&2

38
From people who religiously watch pro league games and Super League, Jan Michael Williams and Marvin Phillips are the best keepers in Trinidad and Tobago, at age 29 they are young goal keepers.  John, Lewis and Foncette are distant first second and third. Fans will tell you that this is the weakest part of Trinidad football at present, people say  if  the U20 has a weakness is in goal. King has stated that Welch is returning, so we will see. e Talk is even in the colleges & present U17 goalkeeping weak.

20 keepers on paper is just names on paper.

All of all yuh who say Yorke and Latapy too dam ungrateful.

Is all yuh self who give nuff ordinary Trini footballers all kind of ratings and then beat them down.

Just look at Guerra now. He should be on the list. As a matter of fact 90% of the current TT players
not good enough for International football in Concacaf, much less the World, if we truthful with our self.

I feel if Concacaf picking a select 20 to play the rest of the World or Asia, or South America, not one Trinbago player getting pick.

Worst generation of players I see in 40+ years.

Vietnam, you have to be joking. That can never be for betterment, that's just to eat ah food.

If I am a NT head coach I not calling anyone from Vietnam to play on a NT. Is better I use Super League players.

Time for T&T players to man up and stop talking and truly commit to being ah Professional. They just want to make enough money to flash, they don't want the rigors of a true Pro set up. They want somewhere where they can make money but not have to do that extra.

This is so so so true. This generation of players from Trinidad just want some change in their pocket. They eh want to be no recognized footballer  of true talent. Working hard, sweat and being the best at what you do gone out the window. They lack fight and pride, you really feel we should need a big coach to beat Guyana and Bermuda.  Pure pride alone should cut dem teams ass.  As for the TTFF they eh offering nothing new. Is pure salt. Watch what go happen after Iran

« on: May 11, 2014, 02:04:11 PM »
Center of Excellence was a Jack scam and he made a bundle building it on his own land. FIFA themselves should be ashamed for allowing this farce. Then again all of dem is dam crook
One field of astro turf!  pathetic for a so called CONCACAF training Center. Everyone in CONCACAF laughed at us and knew it was all an illusion.

Now! FIFA goal project money has to be spent specifically, with guideline. TTFA cannot just take the money and build / maintain fields like you describe.
Just look at the projects from around the world.

Football / Hypocrisy Of the Corneal's in T&T Football
« on: April 30, 2014, 05:34:28 PM »
Before I start let me say that respect Anton & really think he needs to get out his father shadow.

Lets start with Arnold since he in the news, crying down everyone and talking about foreigners & respect for locals.

This is the same man who when he was in charge of Petrotrin football.
A: Hired a Foreign coach that led the team to the bottom three in the league
B: Bought a bunch of foreign players

The same man who once his brother had to step aside for Latapy refuse to release players for T&T National team duty.

Next is Alvin. who was Jack Warners main critic in the 70's on his radio talk show & several news paper articles.
Jack bought his loyalty with a FIFA / CONCACAF post & we never heard one criticism despite all that happened with the
Warner Administration. He uses the post to promote Anton to similar stature. Talk about nepotism & cornering the market.
The man who claimed that Beenie did nothing with the National team & was his critic to the end.

Look I could go on but I think everyone here see the picture. Pure Hypocrisy  :bs:

Stop making me laugh nah.

We not investing anything in our young football players & yet we want Europeans & South Americans to invest.

What program Elan?

Right now it don't have 1 player on the present National Team, that is playing in T&T, good enough for Europe. They go and come back
quicker than tourist. As a matter of fact we struggling to get players in MLS or USL

We need to help our selves.  :cursing:

T&T and Sweden leagues should make that list, even number 80.

Based on What? Our pro league teams cannot even hod their own in CONCACAF CL against teams from Guatemala & Panama. W Connection with all their foreign based can't even win a game. Yet in the Pro League they unbeaten.  Come better than that!

Should not post unless confirmed, then again it is a rumor nothing more.

Spoke  to a good friend in Canada yesterday & he is also friendly with SH family.

Talk is SH is ill and on top of that may not return to Trinbago as he has been offered a MLS post.

Anyone here can confirm this? DO not shoot the messenger

Football / Re: Joevin Jones set for Italy trial with Udinese
« on: December 14, 2013, 06:08:33 PM »
We always overate Trini players. Jones does be jogging around with W and even with the National team. I watch his performance with W in Concacaf CL on  stream, he can't even lift his game at that level.
No  fight at all, weak on the ball, movement zero. Then he make a little move and everybody rah rah. Jones not close to SerieA standard  sorry if people feel I disrespectful, but I calling it as I see it. Right now T&T team have nobody ready for the big ball heights, we football in trouble

Football / Re: Why doesn't Hart have access to local players?
« on: December 10, 2013, 09:11:03 AM »
Not sure what one training session a week is good for.

Better to get the players for consecutive days,  have one or two games at the end

Carnival week may be a good, but then again those locals wont have ball on their mind ;D To make it worst I think the  FIFA date is Ash Wednesday.

12 yrs now and Pro League has made no advances, nothing pro about the league.
Most amateur / semi pro teams in Europe will be in envy of the so called pro teams
Poor pay and then when players do get interest from abroad, excessive demands by owners, coaches , agents, forces the player back home. Sorry this is wrong, especially when the Government supporting most of the teams.

No training facilities, not one team owns its own ground.
No advancement in the CONCACAF CL, even Panama gone ahead.
Sorry to say, but the fact that JJ got a tryout means very little. really hope he makes it, but the fact remain TT players made
it abroad way before we even had a pro league. Most would argue that T&T produced better players than now.
Poor organization and fixture lists. The list goes on.

Now before someone try to knock off my head. The Clubs are trying, but in general football has no or very little public support.
As a matter of fact this is true for all sport. Even college football hardly drawing any crowd.

Look like Alvin Corneal was de coach in da pichure

It is Alvin. All what is said about him. I know a lot of people have issues with him. He was one of the best TT has ever produce. Ranking in the top 10 to top 15.
true.  But I would say Alvin Corneal ranks in the top 5 T&T players ever bro.

Latas
Yorke
De Leon
Alvin
take yuh pick

And in no particular order either.

Alvin is from my time and was good, sweet left foot, but not in those guys class at all. Players  like Alvin, Sedley, Aleong and that generation deserve  credit, but in my
opinion were not better that Baptiste, Charlo, Franco etc. In Alvin and them times we was getting 6 from Surinam and 4 from Jamaica.
Yes we beat Surinam in T&T, Aleong was a boss, but it was he only game we win. Yet those high lights we see on tv history.  When Archie, DeLeon, and Gally came in as youngsters (early 60's) we started beating Haiti 4-2 and thing.

All these were better

Archie
Steve David
Nakid
Nixon
Gally

Vietnam is real problems for our players:
Worst than MLS in terms of pay, from what I understand Average 40G's US
Footballers though getting pay not really in a professional set up. Plus you losing
then you not sure to get pay.
Corrupt league with games sold out often
Chances of getting call up for TT limited.
Club make you sign wavers. Very expensive flights, 24 hrs flying, major jet lag

BBC just did an article on the FIFA ranking points - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-25134584

Definitely need higher tanking matches :)
Just my quriousity, what's the problem with us getting one of the top dogs in world Football to come to our country for a friendly game,  i'm talking about Brazil,Germany,Holland,Argentina,Italy etc etc ah know JW out smart England and got them to come here but is that something the TTFA has on the burner?

Simple Mr Cooper TT will lose our shirt. I read where it cost about 1 mil US (appearance fee)  for those teams, plus all expenses for a party of 35 people. All expenses is, First class travel, 5 star hotel, meals  and all ground transportation. To make that back and just break even you would have to charge over 300 us a ticket.

I think the picture is from Haiti WC qualification in 80.  Lost in Haiti 2-0 and we beat Haiti in Skinner Park, Bert Neptune scored 1-0
Out of WC first round

Bain is the light skinned man for sure

Alvin was coach in 79 CFU in Surinam. We lost all  three games if I remember St Vincent, Surinam and Haiti
Then we played Netherland Antilles twice and draw both times, not sure of the scores
He then won the CFU in Puerto Rico 81,
then we get licks 4-2  from Canada and TFA brought in a Dutch man to coach.

55
Start a fire Alvin Corneal thread now. This man is a cancer to T&T Football.
Spoke with Aleong it was 1-1 in 67
Alvin's negativity on Tuesday bordered  on hate, I don't know what Hart do this man.
Neither do I understand what game he was watching. Talking about where is Latapy
and Nakid, those same players lost to Jamaica in the past. So what now?

One minute the team is benefiting from Antons U20, not the coaching of Hart. Next game, they is Journey men.
Boucaud can't play football Alvin! come nah man! Peltier, Cyrus, David, Guerra, J Jones
Gonzales, Caesar all play for Anton. So Anton was picking Journey men then.
If the present Nashys not up to scratch, the question becomes, who responsible for
raising the generation? Who is the TD for youth football in T&T.

Football / Re: 2013 CONCACAF U-17 Women's Championship Thread.
« on: November 03, 2013, 04:53:30 PM »
Tallman and Coops on the ball.

USA and Canada have far more female players of an elite level to choose from. Both countries have about 100+ players training full time, about 5 days a week under some National guidance. Plus they have well developed leagues for this age group. Most State teams and Provincial teams in both countries will beat T&T easy.

Athletically we are way behind, just look at the games and you will see, better endurance, speed & power (jumping). Also technically the girls from those countries can head and shoot with power. They also have well trained goalkeepers, who are agile (and can jump).

From all indications Marlon Charles did everything for this program, with very little to no assistance & these girls committed themselves with no support for over a year. Winning the CFU is as good as it can get for now an that just shows the state of the CFU.
In my opinion I shake my head that CFU peoples actually run CONCACAF, because none have shown the capability of growing the game in the Region. CFU is pure third world football in every aspect. Poor administration, facilities, development, programming, refereeing, funding, sponsorship you name it. Look no further that the last CFU Tournament for GCQ. How can you be respected, when your International presentation lacks everything that is required. They can't even provide a decent field.

Jack Warner junior in the making.

Who voted for Tim Kee or did he run for Mayor solo?

Whether he is good or bad, this is a dictator in the making.

All presidents and people in charge should only be allowed 2 terms.

:rotfl: :rotfl: these are the changes we wanted,i don't see any difference between this adim and the past one,we didn't get change we just exchange, you all feel is a mistake they make with how much money the Footballer should get,TTFF is alive and kicking.
TimKee only inherit what your godfather left behind. Massive Debt on a scale unimaginable. It come like Bush and Obama.
What is the fuss, a Mayor is a shakehand ting & open building ribbon ceremony. Is not like he has in hand in the kitty like Minister of Works, security.

It have nobody right now who could save football in TT, unless Sabga or Gov't wipe away the owing funds.
Youth teams & staff going with nothing.
National staff eh getting paid.

Good point Lasana...

See why I dont like local coach.

Ross Russell fail to pick de best players for de under 20 team and now Winchester came back and haunt him, same with Anton Corneal and Ricky Shakes.

:timeout: Not defending anyone here, but Lasana full of shit here. This is how I remember it went down & Lasana for all is journalistic genius should know better.
Michael McCormie  :clown: was the coach of the U20, he get the boot for some mad  player abuse, two weeks before the tournament & Russ Russell stepped in as coach.
 Now reason would suggest that it was Anton & MCCormie who do the scouting & pick the squad. Russel only play the hand that was dealt.

But nah Lasana playing off people short memory to sensationalize his writing  :shameonyou:

Despite some poor technical football and coaching deficiency Club Sando and especially Guaya United have a big following. These club cant get 5 passes together but they does play real small goal skills thing and wine up de crowd.

People in T&T like to see gallery football more than technique.

Real football followers home tell me both dem clubs + Malaba can play in the pro league and are as good as Jabloteh, Police and Rangers. On the day will give any team in the league a good run
