Too bad we will never see that again... that play is now banned

I was wondering why we don't see more like it....why though? seems legal to me  :-\

Big Up!

I would assume it is for the same reason you can't dribble with a free kick. You can't pass the ball to your self. By cupping the ball with two feet you are touching the ball twice.

presumably someone could still flick the ball up with one foot (for someone else to volley)?

Yeah logically I doh see anything wrong with that play

Iniesta and crew in demolition derby...watch xavi pass at 4:01

It would have been a deep insult if Pedro didn't score off that pass. I wish Ray Hudon had commentate on that game...

10
Xavi was impeccable over the weekend too- his pass to the Pedro for the 3rd (i think) goal was one for the history books...

Ronaldinho is showing flashes...Still not convinced that he'll ever be back to what the world is waiting and hoping for.  If nothing else he is one player who if he never finds his previous form, will leave the world stage as a somewhat underappreciated figure, and have fans haunted forever.  Anyone who is fan of Ronaldinho (or neutral) until this day holds his/her breath for a piece of magic anytime he touches the ball... and each game he gives you enough to hope for, but not enough consistency to feel satisfied with .... and it's been like this for years now!!

Feel you in every word there. Felt like that with R9 too. Maybe we should accept that they human  :D

One commentator from Talk Sport suggested that Wenger would benefit by having KJ on a short term loan....

I feel is not if he will be traded but when...

I don't see KJ fitting in with that team, with his rapist first touch.

LOL...I agree with that. Of all the names being thrown at him, I think A. Villa will be best for his development.

The man is 25 years old, we cannot baby him and say he need development anymore. A side like 'pool will make him utilize his full capabilities and maintain it.

« on: January 09, 2010, 02:17:51 PM »
glad I was able to answer your question. As they say of you throw enough stuff, something will stick...lol

at least you're not like the person who emailed me this morning and asked why we were promoting S&M. Apparently they mistook the call for submissions for a call for submissives. Ah feel is Dutty... :rotfl: :rotfl:

I feel so too  :rotfl:

btw I also passed it on to my friend, she asked when the deadline was?

QM,

Does a particular submission need to be culturally/regionally specific? Like for example if a submission involves a Rwandan, a Grenadian and a Chinee is that within the preferred ideal.

I would have PM'ed you, but I figure your response could be informative to others.

uhmmm...you lose me yes... ??? ;D

The story is yours, not mine and the guideline for what we cannot accept is there in italics. There is no ideal.
Remember too, that CU is a service for self publishing authors. We do not purchase manuscripts.

_____

...and in case I have a clue what you meant though, I'll add this. C.U. accepts manuscripts for consideration on a variety of genres and topics. We are not Caribbean specific.

Question answered  ;D

I'm sorry for the vagueness and thanks.

i long to see the day when the player, followed by the whole team and coaching staff walk off the pitch in unity and forfeit a game to make a statement..

somebody hadda make a stand.

That is the best thing I think.

Eto'o was going to walk off vs Zaragoza but other players and Rijkaard restrain him and make him stay. Lookin back I was disappointed in Barca for that.

Nice read.. a little bit harsh calling up Roque Junior name in this.

I find Ze Maria was decent man. And Kleberson was one of the standout players the 2002 side.

allyuh assuming that dem wives he have there fall into the same category as dem wives allyuh have..

dem hadda fall in line and humble.. when one cooking, the next one have to wash dishes... and the next one hadda fold clothes while the next one rub ah foot.. on top ah that, they have to make sure and adhere to the nocturnal roster if they get placed on active duty.

and doh rail up cause yuh get sub out easy, easy.

True...real suppression of emotions. I was watchin a documentary about a polygamous Christian family, the wives were saying doh think it is all contentment, is real mental warfare going on behind the stoicism. So maybe is dat suppression warmonga referring to as 'backward'. He raise a curious question fuh real though - western awareness aside - I wonder if he ok with his wife having more than one husband .

I was wondering since when Allah is a Islamic word?  Allah was used before Mohammad was even born and was representative of a god...among many by the polytheistic peoples of the area.  Mohammad just came and stated that the head god was Allah and he was the only God.

Same here; I thought Allah was more an Arabic than Islamic word. Christians in Egypt does call their God "Allah".
