I can't really blame she...for the amount of money, time and effort and MONEY invested in university, they should be more aggressive in helping graduates find work.

Madeline died on the floor of the family's rural Weston home as people surrounded her and prayed. Someone called 911 when she stopped breathing.

It had a smart one amongst them but it was too late.

i admit that i does feel ahow when i go to the zoo, just seeing the animals in cages when they should be in the wild.  the main gorilla in the zoo here does sit with his back to the glass, i sure he depressed.

I does feel so sometimes but I doh think that's the case boy fari.

Animals in the wild lead lives of compulsion and necessity within an unforgiving social hierarchy where fear is high, food is low; where territory must be defended and parasites and predators forever endured. "Freedom" there takes a whole different meaning.

Animals in zoos, especially world-class zoos, have it real nice. Their natural territory is duplicated, food and water in abundance and they eh really have no worries or concerns.

Is your handicap able to allow some BJJ training? That way if you end up on the ground you can continue to have an edge.

Good luck with the training.

yeah a bit but i generally prefer to keep them of me, so I'll sprawl n brawl it as best I can and if they do manage to get me down I'll try to grab and dig into the throat...........I keep my finger nails no less than 2mm long specifically "for that last gasp act of desperation " my brother is big on bbj and capoeira though so he uses bjj alot......a bit too much for my liking........... I keep tellin im if u have to grab dem get rid ah dem quick.........he does spen to much time lockin holds

Yeah Krav Maga real nasty.

My friend does BJJ purely for the sport and art of it, which is interesting, just like your bro he loves de holds, especially the Kimura. He now start taking Judo to enhance de self-defense aspect. Man throw mih across the room easy easy.

it working out well, but I'm still trying to track down an instructor in trini though. what I like about it is that it allows u to pretty much find your own way, I'm fat and Handicapped so improv has to be a big part of how I train and also I liked it because it emphasized constant movement and stayin on your feet.........this is good for me,as I pretty much know that if I go to ground, it can be over for me,

the thing about it is that, their 360 defense philosophy is pounded into every thing, but note though, u have to have an environment that allows u to take it up a notch or 2, i.e a partner who  isn't afraid to get hurt a bit and safety has to be big ...big part of it, for instance, I train with my brother and both of us can take ah good hit and know each others limits, so we pretty much do it without safety gear and padding.........but its not really advisable especially if u know u can be over zealous.

this shit was developed by the Israelis for combat  not just mere self-defense, there is a big distinction there, at any rate if u get to torrent start out by reading the pdf/s first

Well like you I looking for a school here in Toronto, but I suspect that they are watered-down versions. But I really want to get into it. You're right though, you and your training partner hadda be careful.

Sorry to hear that, but i won't jump to racist cuz that is how the Central and South Americans cheer their football.  You would've had the same experience with Costa Ricans, Hondurans, El Salvadorians etc.  They're just very passionate about their football and go overboard with it (not an excuse for their horrendous behavior btw).

As well as some fans of Middle Eastern, European and Asian nations. Remember how they pelt we in Bahrain. Rank bullsh*t and the ugly side of national pride. Football and general humanity lose out here and sorry your child had to experience that boy War.

« on: July 16, 2009, 02:52:19 PM »
Last elections i vote PNM...and i cuss before...after and during. Why? I say..until better could be done...let de worst continue. COP and UNC is effectively de same ting....and I could not in good conscience vote UNC. And i could not vote COP knowing full well dat in de event of a tie or anything....COP will not hesitate to form a collation with UNC. I still cussing now.....buh even taking an apathetic view of "none of the above" doh make sense..to me at least.
this is where you wrong they were offered to form a collation and turned panday down. that is why after the elction panday was livid with COP. COP as of the last election doesnt want to have anything to do with the UNC once panday around.
Also speaks to the division in the UNC right now.

Robert Pires - Villarreal

Christian Vieri - AC Milan

Name a player in recent times who went to your side and subsequently left with a higher value on the transfer market, or left as a better and more coveted player in the EPL.

Never thought of it that way in trute - only player to do that was probably Andy Cole, and that is not recent times. I don't know what it is wit Newcastle.

General Discussion / Re: Fear vs Love
« on: June 23, 2009, 10:28:58 AM »
Thanks for de responses. Somewhat refreshing to see people believe love is greater.

So as childen we are fearless, and fear is learned.

What about the choices we make out of fear? Can we become truly happy after we do so? Or, do we spend some moments in life afterwards wondering what if we chose the other route, by choosing to face and surpass our fears? Or worse, do we justify taking the easy way out by saying well, we are content now, or 'safe' as Queen said.
