The part about Bahrain being bribed before the Saudi game in 2001 is total bullshit. Ok lets take it this way - let's suppose Bahrain was really bribed (although i still insist they weren't). What this game meant to Iran was what yesterday's game between Bahrain and T&T meant to Trinidad - meaning it was a very very important game. So if Iran played to its full potential how could it have lost 3-1 ??? Teams usually get bribed to lose a game. How can a team be bribed to win? If the other team plays really well, then theres nothing the supposedly bribed team can do about it. Iran has been bitter at Bahrain ever since.

It wasn't a goal Period ! i don't know why our people don't want to admit that. We lost the game and played shit yesterday. T&T u did the job and deserved to go through. We should try harder. It's painful to see my team get that close and not make it but one has to be fair as well. Good luck guys

What we have to say? We say the goal which was disallowed was 100% correct coz the ball was out of the hand of the goalkeeper.

i'm not allowed to go there
alot of places over here is off limits for me
but not the field though
and where is a nice place to buy jewelry because seef mall was trying to rob me blind

Get into a cab and ask him to take you to the "Gold Souq" inside manama, near "Bab el Bahrain". You will find a street full of gold shops and i believe they are not as expensive as seef mall.

Alyuh ah seein it now, Bahrain coming with de intention todeffend so ah seein some red card in the mix fuh dem. Dis roungs dey might get some sending off fuh some desperate tackling .

Hopefully we will use it to we advantage .

Goaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllll TNT !

No, Bahrain is not playing to end up in a 0-0 in which case u'd think they will defend for 90minutes. Bahrain is entering this game to win and not draw. The team is being prepared mentally to play as if they need to win the game to go to Germany and not keep defending for 90minutes thus hoping the game ties at 0-0

الرجاء من البحرينين عدم الأستهزاء بالفريق الخصم لأن ممكن نخسر بعدم وجود بن السالمين ان شاء الله لما نفوز على ارضنا بعدين سوووا الي تبونا

Translation for my fellow trinis:

"I kindly request all Bahrainis not to underestimate our opponent because it's not over yet and we could lose especially that Mohd Salmeen won't play the second leg. When we hopefully win in Bahrain, then do whatever you want"

Since you are so proud of your Argentinian style dirty play, I hope you are also "honored" by the play of the two players you lost today for Wednesday's game through two yellow cards, in fact, one deserved a red card.

When the tables are turned against us, that is when we shine, come Wednesday, trust me, TnT will be in the World Cup, not Bahrain!

Im soo glad that Bahrain reminds you of Argentina - it's an honor actually

I won't talk a lot - let's just wait till Wednesday and hope to see a good game

Ah love it!!! Now ah want EVERY Bahrain person to come in this thread n say de same thing! AH LOVE IT! Allyuh keep talking dah talk eh. Doh stop. Trinidad go cut allyuh arse come Wednesday! Ah love it! No but seriously though. I truly ecstatic that the Bahrainis are so confident. Their team is probably feeling like some bite up shilling in ah one cent party right now too. That is why they'll be complacent come Wednesday. Allyuh...ah feeling ah real good vibes, and all my good vibes does come through. ALL!

Toppa , really now does it matter what we or you say in this forum. We are just die hard fans who can do nothing more than talk. The responsibility lies on the players to not be over confident. So you saying u love the way some bahrainis are coming here and bragging and being confident doesn't mean anything. Before today's game as well you guys kept talking very confidently about how Bahrain will lose 3-0 or 4-0 or 5-0 etc - did that kinda talk make a difference? The return game is still there. I know T&T will fight but we are gonna fight too. There is still 90 minutes and anything can happen. As a fan of my team, we have to stay positive and have faith in our players and the team. Thank you

YOU EVER SEE A TRINIDADIAN PLAYER TAKE A DIVE?!? YOU EVER SEE A TRINIDADIAN PLAYER LIE DOWN ON THE GROUND FOR 5 FLICKIN MINUTES AND THEN REFUSE A STRETCHER?!?

YOU KNOW WHY? BECAUSE TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO PLAYS FOOTBALL LIKE A MAN AND NOT LIKE SOME SISSY FAGGOT, LIKE BAHRAIN DOES!

OUR COACH, LEO BEENHAKKER, MANAGED TEAMS LIKE REAL MADRID, ONE OF THE TOP EUROPEAN LEAGUE TEAMS RIGHT NOW, AND DO YOU SEE HIM TELLING HIS PLAYERS TO FALL DOWN AND START CRYING ON THE FLOOR LIKE YOU BAHRAINIANS?

THE FOOTBALL YOU PLAY IS PATHETIC, WEAK AND DISGRACEFUL. YOU PLAYED DISRESPECTFUL TO US TRINIDADIANS AND TO YOURSELVES.

ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC

(THIS POST ISN'T DIRECTED TO BAHRAIN FANS ON THIS BOARD, JUST THE TEAM ITSELF, BUT WHOEVER HAS SOMETHING TO SAY IN THEIR DEFENCE, SAY IT NOW!)

The game was good- im happy with our score. The pressure is now more on T&T than it is on Bahrain on the 2nd leg and like my bro Salman said - we proved the people who thought your Dwight Yorke and Stern John would come outta the blue and buss 5 in our goal totally wong ! However-there is still one more game to go and i'm waiting anxiously for it.

Khalid i took that interview off fifa.yahoo.com today. So husy ya mouth. :loser: :loser: :loser: :loser: :loser:
Here is the link to the article.

http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/06/en/051107/1/56pt.html

So like i said Alaa Hubail my foot.

The article was posted on FIFA today - it wasn't conducted today. Plus when i said old news i meant that the coach was talking about letting Alaa play for the last 10 or 20 minutes in the Uzbek game which was about a month ago. The coach then says i'll see how he gets on with his club in Qatar (meaning how he will get on with his club after the Uzbek match). Alaa has played with his team after the Uzbek match and is in full form to be on the startup in the Satuday's game

Just wait and see what he'll do to your defense - he'll make them run left and right all over the field. The news you have is kinda old - he just played 2 days back in the Qatari league and scored both goals for his team

another question 4 khalid? how u watchin de game? on dish or wha?

I've got a dish which broadcasts some arabic channels but none of the ones which i know so far will broadcast the game. I'm still asking around and searching but if worse comes to worse i'll most likely watch it online on one of the channels on this program called "PPlive" - let's keep each other updated if we get to know about any other channels which will possibly broadcast the game.
