Football / Re: T & T vs. Bahrain US TV Coverage
« on: October 30, 2005, 09:41:11 PM »
Guys save yourself the hassle
Just download this program called PPlive from
www.pplive.com

It's a chinese program. Download the program. Then you will find a list of channels. There are about 3 channels that always show important football games. They show Italian league, Spanish league, Champions League matches etc. Once you download the program check for these 3 channels:
CCTV5
Dragton TV
SH TV

Unfortunately they do not have a schedule where you can check what they will be showing when - but one of the them will broadcast the game

Very good streaming and quality.

Good luck....

well c**t i been trying to help out my fellow trinis and tell them that bahrain people are indeed nice because i was treated well when i was there but assholes like yourself come on a thread about an earthquake and making fun of it so i take it all back.dont talk about disrespecting my flag

now i know why yall treated me like a god and its because i was a black man walking by myself with your women on my side and a tech 9 on my hip. apparently that was'nt respect it was more like fear. and keep this shyt talk up i'll be over there soon

war

morvantman we have already discussed this issue about the flag in another thread. None of us Bahrainis who have come to this forum have gone that far as that asshole Emad did. We already apologized and we told you one idiot coming and posting shit like that doesn't represent the whole nation. I'm sure you are more mature than that and you understand.
So when people treat yoy bad you don't like it. When people treat you nicely now u think ur God all of a sudden?? Don't think u were making a scene walking there on Bahrain's roads with some women and ur tech 9. We don't care the least whether your tech 9 was on ur hip or up ur ass. It seems people there were being hospitable and all of a sudden you are unfair to all those people who were trying to give you a pleasant stay there just coz someone out of nowhere came and posted some crap like that on your forum.
You read the article. You read what your man Warner said. Keep emotions aside. Peace

Football / Re: Hopefuls Bahrain keen to avoid culture shock (article)
« on: October 28, 2005, 06:21:16 PM »
That talk of playing teams to understand the culture of teams on this side of the world is bull. No two teams are alike. There are huge differences in the Ameican style to the Mexican or even the Costa Rican style. The T&T style is even more different.

Bahrain went to camp with only two regulars. They full team will be released around the same time as our players.  :rotfl: It essentially means that we will have the same amount of time to prepare as us. Fellas Bahrain fraid we. I remain confident of T&T qualifying for WC06. Remember Latapy said that the intention is to get a big win at home. Its not arrogance, its just a matter of fact, we are better than them and we just have to do the work on the pitch to show that we are better than them.

Your are kind of overlooking an important fact and that is both teams (Bahrain and T&T) have many yellow cards. Hence our coach is working hard to prepare the subs just in case one of the main players gets booked in the away game on Nov 12th in T&T. In fact i think it's really good that he is doing this now rather than waiting for it to happen and then you sit and scratch ur head over how ur gonna fill the gap. This is an issue which concerns not only the Bahraini team but the T&T coach as well since a good number of your players already have a yellow card as well, and another yellow card on nov 12 will just make them warm the bench on nov 16th.
It is unfortunate that our main players will not be released until Nov 5th, but at least they are playing the regular league games which will ensure that they stay fit until the T&T game time. Plus, you're wrong Bahrain is not afriad of you or anything. I can talk and you can talk from now till Nov 12th and it won't make a difference. Let the game speak for itself

« on: October 28, 2005, 01:40:39 AM »
dont listen to these fools who come on this site from Bahrain talking bout Moderation.

My Cousin grow up in Qatar and she when Bahrain for School trip and thing and she tell me first hand that when they go Bahrain they make them wear head tie in public even though they not muslim.

They strick Strick

Truetrini take note with them tut tuts you have they they might take you for a gul and start to beat you if you dont have one a head tie......just an FYI.

Based on the games I see on Tv and pictures on the internet, No Gul in the stands.
Women Ban from the stadium they could say what the want.

I make sure I call and ask these questions first hand so I can get factual information.

Bahrain is one of them Muslim Fundamentalist state and if them men who come on this site dont want to admit it is BECAUSE THEY ARE SHAME OF THEIR VIEWS

Same thing with them Saudis always on 60 minutes talking bout women have rights but is real licks passing when cameras gone.

Well Just for making my lil cousin cover up she head when she was visiting your country is more lick have to share.

I sending a special request to the socawarriors to beat bahrain Bad Bad Bad, on behalf of free women everywhere.

Licks like a good friday bobolee.

Socawarriors Destroy them and when we done with alyuh we sending George Bush to finish alyuh off.
You know he like to rough up arabs and take the land
Bahrain Land will make a good US air base.

Destroy Bahrain!!!!!!!!!!

You and ur cousin are full of shit - ur cousin must have been roaming around in Saudi not Bahrain. She was asked to wear a head scarf when she was in Bahrain???? That is total bullshit. Your cousin must have been high on some weed or something. Ask her to get her facts right next time. You can come to Bahrain and check for yourself instead of opening bullshit threads like these which are based on nothing but ignorance.
Man i've met some nice ppl here but you are seriously are a  disgrace and a burden on your ppl. You talk shit with no evidence whatsoever.

Many girls don't go to the stadium not coz they aren't allowed in - just coz they don't want to - many of them prefer to sit at home and watch the game on TV in the comfort of their own house. Like the other guy here said he has been to Seef Mall and in case you don't trust us , you can ask him, he'll get ur facts right (i mean i'm sure you trust him at least right since he is ur country fellowman???)

I agree this is your forum u guys , but i thought it was a football forum - i don't see how this thread relates to football in anyway. Some might come and say if i don't like what's written then i should go elsewhere. I don't mind reading any criticising statements about the team or even my country IF THEY ARE TRUE. However, i can't see a post full of crap and just pass on.

So KND2 , go do some proper research before spamming the forum with ur useless threads and yes ur cousin is a liar who just wants to draw attention to herself. What a loser !

I heard Panama sent a Primary School Side!

Panama has to be fielding a youth side or a makeshift side. They had a full league schedule yesterday.

Bahrain also played with a team B so i don't see your point !

have a Beer... :beermug: Even if you may not drink... I dont think you understand the concept of Primary School Team!!

Primary school team !! thats the lamest excuse i've heard for justifying a loss - u'r exaggerating a lot - i would understand if you said they played with a team B or something.
If bahrain had lost the game, you would have talked about how they sucked and now when they win u say they played against some primary school team - u don't even know what to think.
Go take a break and continue drinking ur  :beermug:

Bahraini brothers, we don't have the right to come and open a thread in the T&T forum and say it's only for Bahrainis - we are visitors here and they set the rules not us. I would definitely say i want Bahrain to win away 1-0 or 2-0 , but Tribagonians are also free to say what they want.

Football / Re: ANYBODY ELSE GOIN TO BAHRAIN??
« on: October 25, 2005, 08:05:32 PM »
hey guys ...if we beat your team, or you beat ours, it is all right and you are alwayes welcome to the two seas islands(bahrain).

The Bahraini posters on this site have been nothing but respectful thus far and its very good to know that we can all be friends. I think the Trini fans are more passionate because we've gotten so close twice  before and didn't make it. For 180 minutes I will hate anything Bahraini but after that I will have a lot more respect for your country and your people.

I want T&T to win 3-0 home and draw in Bahrain and I know we can do it.

On a political note, from what I've seen Bahrain is Middle Eastern nation with moderate policies. What is the view of Bahrainis with respect to the U.S., George Bush and the war in Iraq.

Well , what can i say. I mean the US Policy and the issue of the war in Iraq is that of a very controversial topic not only in Bahrain but in the whole world (including the US). People in Bahrain also have controversial opinions and views. At the beginning of the war and especially when Saddam Hussains's ruling came to an end  a lot of the people in Bahrain were happy and believed that it was a good move from the US to ease the suffering and misery of all the people in Iraq from a dictator like Saddam Hussain. However here we are 2.5 years down the road and it  seems things are still very shaky and unstable there. A lot of the people think the US troops should just leave Iraq , some say no the Americans have things well under control - i don't know what to say, its kinda complicated. Anyways this is a football forum and i don't want to get too much into politics. Good luck to Bahrain and T&T although i obviously hope my team (bahrain) will win and go through to the WC

right now i see they charging $17500 tt for the trip from home and i dont know who go be goin but i would most likely already be over they.and they say the game is free but i not too sure about that. if a most important game for bahrain is free i dont expect it to be easy to get in

morvantman the games in Bahrain are for free. Just go 2.5-3 hours before the game and you will get a seat.

lol with the way we've been playing, me and you could feild a team of our combined freinds and w00p them ...

lol sad for me... we've been competing for the title since the club came to be in the 1930's but the past years we've been awful ... damn theives of a management robbing the club nakid  :'(

A question, I know Asia has a Champions League, it seems to be a very good standard, does any Bahraini teams participate in that competition?

Al-Ahli and Al-Shabab who are both playing in Bahrain's First Division League are in the "Arabian Champions League" which has a good number of really good teams. Al-Shabab got knocked out but Al-Ahli are still there fighting and they have got through to the second round

Alsal, how many games did you play between August and October?

If i'm not mistaken we played 5 games between august and october and they are:
Friendly: Bahrain 5-0 Turkemistan
            Bahrain 2-2 Iraq
Bahrain 0-1 Uzbekistan (this was the match that was cancelled by FIFA)
Bahrain 1-1 Uzbekistan (the repeated match)
            Bahrain 0-0 Uzbekistan

No you're wrong, we played Turkemistan on 3rd August 2005 and Bahrain won 5-0. In case you need to check for yourself, check the fifa link below:

No guys, i think that's a 100% rumour. Nothing like that.

55
Kalid and the Bahrain crew,

It's all about football in the end....so don't be affected by the hostility....If we invaded a Bahrain football site, we'd probably get some abuse too......

Everyone has micro-chip muscles, but if we were face to face, we'd get along just fine. Trinis like to crack jokes, and some of us are not up to speed with global(American) standards of political correctness...that's just our society....it's not perfect, but it's harmless if you ever get to understand it. These same Trinis who talk about being sensitive are the same ones who took offense to a stupid Nike commercial about American soccer where we were referred to as microscopic islands.........so it just goes to show that everyone's view is skewed by context and the position that you're in.......Apologies for any offense....take it with a grain of salt.....no stress

You're better off focussing on preparation for a real beating on the field Nov 12th and 16th........and rebuilding your team for 2010.....

Just a comment - i'm not american  ;D

56
Khalid ..yuh cyah take a joke? In Trinidad and Tobago we joke all the time..yuh see why MUSLIM, HINDUS and CHRISTIANS does live in T&T without war...yuh see, Because Trinis could joke ..Is not like the man drop a bomb :rotfl: ..Yuh so sensitive, YUh didn't have to BLOW UP LIKE THAT..if yuh find what the man say racist that is your bizness...but doh get vex..next ting yuh know yuh want to kill someone ;D...That was a joke :rotfl: anyhow relax my boy...because it have plenty ole talk to get if yuh want to be on this website..

Aiight man, sounds cool - i guess its all to do with cultural differences - but, we live and we learn  ;) Cheers

57
Trini, keep looking for your middle finger - when you find it put it up ur a**  :rotfl:   Cheers !
khalid yuh know where my finger is now.LOOK UNDER YUH MAMMY SARI.

Weak joke  :yapping:

58
Trini, keep looking for your middle finger - when you find it put it up ur a**  :rotfl:   Cheers !

59
rude boy

Please relax

Not because I make fun of the fact that you wear long garments that makes me a racist.

The problem we you is that you are not tolerant of other people views.

I make fun of how you dress and how you treat your women. This is not racism.

The joke was directed at my Trini people who can understand the joke.

It was not directed at any Bahrain clowns who like to read post on a TNT web site.

I am very tolerant with anything forum members say with respect to the football and the game and either team. All i'm saying is there is no need to go off track to issues which have nothing to do whatsoever with the topic on hand

60
Khalid,

The views and the opinions expressed by the originator of this thread are not the views and opinions of the Soca Warriors forum or its associated members.

I have no problem with friendly banter between supporters of both teams, it is what football is about. Believe me, there are many Muslims in T&T and I can't understand why such silly comments were made. As a person who works with Muslims brothers, have Muslims friends and play football with Muslim brethren on a Sunday evening I really can't understand, not to mention I have a Muslim background.

Exactly, this is just a friendly banter. Yes, i agree the originator of this thread does not talk for all the ppl of T&T , but he still needs to wake and realize that his behavior is very uncivilized. Thank you for your comforting reply....
