Hallmark of Champions

Fantastic game.. we were definitely the better team and deserved all 3 points but when you 3-0 down from 2 soft soft goals and 1 world class finish you really can enjoy the determination and the point gained with a 3-3 comeback at a difficult place... Could very well be the point that wins us the title in May.. and with Nani and Cleverley back from next week the squad looking nice

Great game

yea Scholes and Carrick were having good games.. maybe he couldnt last the 90...  sad that we need to rely on a 37 year old and a 38 year old when players like Modric are out there

Anyway Stoke at OT on Tuesday and Chelsea away on Feb 5th... have to keep winning and hope City slip up.. potential banana skin vs Everton away on Tuesday for them

A draw would have been fair In my opinion... would have taken a replay as Anfield is always tough

No breaks today, hit the post , ref wouldnt give us a foul for anything etc

Stupid goals.. first one was poor after a tactic from the Pool players to crowd out De Gea.. Fergie did shit by selecting the kid in this game.. they targeted the boy and it should have been Lindegaard in there... now his confidence is even poorer (if it was possible) well done Fergie

We missed Rooney badly today and Nani too.. any team would.. with Wazza, Nani, Young, Cleverley, Fletcher, Ando, Rio, Vidic, Jones all out injured it was always going to be tough

The FA got their wish..we are out .. City away in the 3rd round and Pool away in the 4th.. they can breathe now.. job done

nice to see this youth being looked at. I think he can be one for the future. Is DeSilva too old? I don't see him on the list, either that or I need glasses.

Went back to Uni.. he missed a few weeks of school to play the Finland game

Angus and the staff know what he can offer already, could afford to miss the U23 leg of it... time to see who else can add to the mix

Fully Deserved... Great game by Smalling,Evans, Evra, Carrick, Nani and Valencia .. top stuff

Wenger is a real jackass.. the only man giving us problems and he takes him off at 1-1

thats the difference right there .. Champions vs Pretenders

QPR would offer him a wider audience to showcase his talent and could be a stepping stone to a better team in England should he do well.. he is only 22.. If he has 2-3 very good seasons he could be linked to United,City,Spurs,Arsenal,Chelsea,Newcastle,Liverpool at age 24/25...

Hoping for a defender and especially a central midfielder with technique and an attacking nature

doubt it will happen though

If Jones, Smalling, Rio, Rafael return we safe.Evans back in a week or 2 .....  Midfield however we are relying on Carrick and a 38 year old Giggs.. Cleverley needs to return badly and I guess Jones will play both CM and in the backline the rest of the season

Just need men to get fit again but a signing or 2 will help the team

team pushing on nicely .. dominating victory at difficult Fulham today

Jones and Young had to be withdrawn with injuries though...  Fergie estimates Young at 2-3 weeks but it looked more a dead leg, I reckon Blackburn on the 31st he'd be back.. as for Jones , took a wicked elbow early in the game.. Fergie says he is going for an X Ray of his jaw.. he looked concussed too..  The kid is a beast.. I think he'll play vs Wigan on boxing day

Carrick is having a fine month , hope it continues as we need him to be the main man until the wounded recover to add the depth... Looking forward to having a rejuvenated Carrick partner the exciting Cleverley ..

What a cracker from Wazza today.. and Nani with a couple assists and a goal just keeps on improving... and my boy Berba with a silky backheel for the 5th... great stuff today

shocking news when I heard it.. really feeling it for him.. A very tough year for Fletch, hope the break sorts him out and he can come back strong

now to my next point, with Anderson(who is total shit) out till Feb with a knee injury, Fletch out in my opinion for the season, Cleverley out till the new year and 38 year old Giggs and even though he is in good form but mr inconsistent Carrick surely we must, WE MUST go into the transfer market for a midfielder.. it may not be a Modric that we need but we must get some quality in there ... Christian Eriksen , Mario Gotze are out of the CL too, maybe a cheeky bid? other names that will be in the mix are Tiote, M'Villa, Javi Martinez etc..  maybe a loan deal? Kaka perhaps? Fergie may reinvent him and give him a new lease of life...

In my opinion we need a defender and a midfielder in January. one more injury to the backline and we could be in serious trouble especially as Rio has been plagued over the last 3 seasons

If Fergie doesnt address this in January I'd be very very surprised and very alarmed

I understand what allyuh fellas saying, and I have apologised for my behavior when I was posting from 15 -18 years old ... I've found my posts over the last couple years to be more football focused and more banter related than negative.. 8-2 jokes is ole talk etc .. JDB quoting stuff I said in 2006, I was a 16 year old kid then... a next one got sensitive over a f**k off rent boy.... Giggsy upset because I support Rooney and she supports Nani so much she rips Wazza to shreds and has the nerve to call herself a United fan

I'm not hiding from anything or cant take talks, banter is part of it.. I'm just saying I saw some almost personal attacks in the mix

As I said maybe you cant read my tone over text but I am not upset or disappointed , just pointing out I didnt see the need to respond when I saw some posts, because some forumites were calling out just checking up on me...

I not asking for any sympathy or anything I just wanted to explain why I didnt respond, so the respond posting of this shit where I making it about me is totally out of left field, Dont study me, study you

Oh finally,Elan, I'd love for you to make a socawarriors sweat a day, would be fun

FF, I know I give my fair share of banter but to me a few things I read were a little uncalled for ... and I've never been one to respond immediately after poor performances for United , it wouldn't be a nice sight

I just saying there is a difference between banter and overdoing it

Anyway, dont want to get into that.. just responding to those who were asking for me.. I'm right here, looking forward to Tomorrow's game

I've decided to sit back and take it in, didnt see the point in responding to some of the almost personal attacks to me.

I saw one post in particular that made my decision easy when Giggsy11 was practically saying I was responsible for United's failings in the group because I took the group for granted , which I shouldnt have because we all know football is strange but to target me was particularly embarrassing of the direction the forum is going with people like Elan etc

I dont play for United, It wasnt in my control

As for the calls to come and post when your team loses I will never be like that, I am too diehard and upset to post after painful occassions with the team that I support to the death. The people that come on here after defeat and are chatty as f**k arent real fans to me, absolute shithongs If you ask me

Anyway onwards and upwards hopefully... not every season is going to be filled with glory, but wasting my time responding to some of these clowns isnt worth it.

I'm glad we got the Mexico group as the Semi Final is realistically the final as the winner qualifies and I would fancy us to have the BEST CHANCE OF WINNING vs USA's more physical similar style than the quick passing game of Mexico

but I wanted Canada and I would have preferred El Salvador to Panama

3 tough games but 3 games that will do us well in the long term even If we fail to progress

If we get to that semi and face USA I'd fancy us .. once we are willing to die for the badge and run till we bleed we stand a fighting chance

As La Fou always says " Hard work will beat skill, If skill hardly working"
