its idiotic to say that ... I can also say that Stern John tried to kill the goal keeper ... but I won't cause I know these guys are nothing but good guys.

I am very pissed with the Bahraini team right now ... They are not playing to win ... its idiotic ... we need to score a quick goal ... and not sit back and wait for 0-0 ...

Alsalman thanks for clearing up the instruments part....i jus wanted to make sure it was across the board and not jus forTnT fans...
Buh if i see any flags there is u i blaming eh!!! ;D

there is still hope for them to change the rules ... 40,000 red and white flags waved would make a stadium so much better lol ... instead of jumping around trying to get the flag to move  ;D

actually I am looking at pictures i took from the game... and I can see why some Trini fans think its far ... its not true though they are great seats (I would not mind them at all infact ... during the japan game I went 3 hours before and got crappy seats, not shadded etc ...

This is a picture I took from the stadium the Japan fans are where the trini fans will be... they are next to the left goal ... are prolly the best perserved seats since they are mostly for away teams ... also the cleanest section of the stadium

EDIT: I WAS JUST ON FORUMS AND BAHRAINI FANS ARE NOT HAPPY ... they believe that giving the trinidad fans a large section would mean that hundreds of less Bahrainees will be allowed into the stadium ... they want to put the trinidad fans right with the crowd... allowing more Bahraini fans into the sections ...

but again that would never get approved ... the Bahraini FA wants this to go spotless I guess and are afraid things might turn ugly

Bahrainies would never mistreat a guest on their country ... it is not the arab way ... nor is the Bahraini way...

EDIT2: IT HAS COME TO MY ATTENTION that the Bahraini FA is trying to change the seating (Warner asked if they can get an arrangement closer to the center(dividing the Bahraini fanbase by half  :P) we'll see what happens

Just a few points refuting the original post.

1-: Bahrain's national stadium HAS NO SECTION BEHIND THE GOAL POST  :rotfl:, the section is on the extreme left of the stadium is where they got the seats ... they are good seats... close to the feild, and on par with the pitch. It is the Section assigned to all Away fans ... it has been like that ever since the stadium was built... this is blown out of context ... no away teams ever complained about the seating arrangements

2-: The Bahraini FA is not responsible for the balls at the Trinidad practice, the Trini delegation is responsible for that... and no agency or FA would decline a request for balls, because thats just stupid

3-: Bahraini fans are gonna suffer way more restrictions ... infact the Bahraini FA just banned flags sticks ... meaning that Bahraini fans can no longer wave flags ... also for security reasons ... No bottles of drinks allowed in the game ... also for security ... So if these Trinidad equipments contain metal bars etc... they will be banned ... just like Bahraini fans ... because these are set by the police force ... not because they are trinidadian ...

4-: This is blown way out of context... no FA has ever complained ... if anything Bahrain does so many things to help the other teams when they get here ... The Bahraini FA is also big on security (ever since 50 saudies ended in hospital ... well that happens when for 2000 years you continue to pillage a country, then come and insult them in their own land) ... thats why they won't place Trinidad fans in the middle of the Bahraini fan section on the right because if anything happens how would they protect them ? lets Say Bahrain gets hammered... tempers flare ? Who is responsible for these fans ? the Bahraini FA... they cannot take any chances what so ever ...

This is blown way out of context ... we are looking at close to 300 Trinidad fans ... not the 50 Bahrainies who came to Trinidad ... its a different number of people ... they need their own section, protected, and perserved so that they have the best time they can without thinking "what if"

IF T&T are training in the national stadium, where is our team training?

the away team always gets the last training on the pitch ... the Bahraini team on the Al-Ahli stadium

let me guess you live in the states ? where every one outside is uneducated, evil and brainwashed into a murderer ?  ;D ;D

or where blacks are considered criminal until proven other wise, and where arabs are islamic terrorists ?

the man born, grow and was schooled in Trinidad out of the bubble of the USA so the man could make an unbiased assessment jes like everybody here

question is having read his ignorant remarks do you think its unbaised or do you think the last few years in NY got to his head  ;D

some of dese middle eastern man have a complex when it comes 2 de US, not everything bad about de states sah, bush and saddam an dem was all in de same bed, u shouldnt talk bc ur saudi brothers causin most of de plight for de muslim world, so wat de hell u talkin about

no one said every thing is bad... it just remains a country that lives and thrives on making others seem "evil"

blacks, Japanese, jews, communists, and now arabs and muslims.

I think many Americans are great guys, I think the american society has many positives... but Having been in BOTH CANADA AND THE US recently its different ... in canada people are more accepting of others... (Ever feel how it is like to be pulled aside in an airport and interogated like a dog ? have your finger prints and photo taken ? ever walk down the street and have police follow you because you are of a certain skin? thats what I had when I went to the states, same with my Bahraini freinds, and even some canadians who look arabic) I think with the exception of the high taxes, and winter Canada is prolly the best country in the world to live in.

as for the saudi comment offcourse ... no one would love to write an essay to you detailing the evil neighbour we have more than me ... thats the point ... when I throw a comment its because I know, I've experienced it ...

when he throwin a comment he is just being ignorant about things he does not really know other than what the media tells him

just for the record ... I think Saudi is worst than the US government BY FAR, one look at the history of Bahrain and you know ... they brought their tribal mentality, they attacked, they waged wars, murdered, stole lands etc... thats history though ... now they mistreat women ! they mistread shia muslims, they put down their people on basis of tribal background ... they gave birth to wahabism ... which has plagued muslims

I don't take comments like his that generalize, minimalizes another group of people lightly ...

If anything I am an apposition to the monarchy system in my country... my family has given their lives, careers to fight and stand against injustice ... and for him to come and say that I am a brainwashed person with no opinion is annoying ...

That column was totally ridiculous. They talk about being in the World Cup already and bearly even mentioned Trinidad and Tobago.Really poor journalism there. It completely lacks objectivity. It sounds more like one of those letters to the editor. They act as if they played better than us or something. We had 2 clear cut chances that we missed. Those chances will be well compensated for on Wednesday.

he's not even bahraini lol  :rotfl: thats the sad part ... some indian dude who works at a newspaper ... how he was given the Bahrain soccer section I don't know (but again most the readers of the GDN are foreign)

We talkin about countries where there is freedom and democracy

Not open brainwashing, monarchy and fiefdom.

Allyuh men mad!! ... allyuh men holding up pictures of a MORTAL and praising it like is God.
.... and doh tell me ah lie ... cuz the pictures there from Saturday.

... and yuh talkin about CHRIST - Bahrain wasn't even a damn soverignity before Christ - so hush yuh damn uneducated backside. Show me a map and history books that record the tenants of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

brainwashing ?

let me guess you live in the states ? where every one outside is uneducated(bahraini educational standards are excellent especially compared to American and Canadian standards), evil (we've lived side by side with people from different color, religion for thousands of years... we are not some gung ho lets go kill "inferiors" like some continent), and brainwashed into a murderer ?  ;D ;D

or where blacks are considered criminal until proven other wise, and where arabs are islamic terrorists ?

if that is democracy they can keep it ... and shove it where the sun don't shine

also muslims don't believe in the divinity of man ... even with christ (who is the islamic messiah)  ;) while I think its stupid to raise the king;s picture... he does represent our country  :)

As for Bahrain it is termed by historians as one of the "cradles of human civilization" we've been around since the creation of human society

As for the game, well yea its for free, mainly cause the expenses of high security, tickets, merchendise would be more... besides its been free for age's

this game is gonna be packed with 40,000 people no matter if its free or not, infact they are trying to increase the seat#'s and plant huge screans all around the stadium as tens of thousands are gonna be stuck without entry

Alsalman what did you think about the handball?

I think it was stupid, but no one at this level would intentionally handle the ball on a normal cross so I don't think it was intentional especially considering it was right infront of the lines man

N. Korea is ranked 86th.

Ah tellin yuh, we goin to score some goals in Bahrain.

Alsalman that is good blue food not performance enhacement

I know I know  ;D

I just want to point out that performance enhancement drugs are used in sports where power is needed... like body builders, Baseball, Track and Feild

with football I don't really see the need for performance enhancement drugs, unless they invent a drug that helps you with ball control  :)

as for the question I believe Fifa conduct random testing of players in competitions and games etc...

Football / Re: Kelvin Jack needs to go.

The goal keeper was not bad at all ...

I think if anything the defenders let down the keeper... they played stupid passes, were unorganized (Especially the first half) and if not for good positioning and bad misses Bahrain could have been up even before half time...

the goal was unstopable ... first of all the cross was very quick, going out would leave the entire goal vunerable... hence most keepers elect to trust their defenders... well the defenders both missed the ball completely and one of the shortest guys on the pitch scored
