I don't know why people talking about sportsmanship...Bahrain trying to qualify for the WC...this is not a fete match....the rough play is uncalled for but we can't complain about time wasting...all teams do that...stop looking for excuses.

Bingo

who de hell is u, u know anything about football , i feel u juss pretendin, bc yuh talkin shit, concentrate on football, allyuh talkin 2 we about football, look padnah save yuh pep talk 4 yuh team and hush yuh ass when u on our board, i fed up hear allyuh talk, coz iz only garbage allyuh talkin, setta bahraini waggonist

I aint talkin to "we"  I am talkin to the likes of you, who are using it as an excuse... This is a world cup qualifier ... not a freindly for the homeless, nor is it a regular league match ...

maybe you started watching football a couple weeks ago ? but if you have been watching football you know its part of the game, and you know its no excuse...

so stop complaining and CONCENTRATE ON THE FOOTBALL

wah u mean he eh mention the ref???read again partner!!
Heroes hailed.
By Rami Hulayyel.

Shaikh Fawaz, however, warned the team against complacency.
"Some poor decisions by referee Mark Shield denied us a crucial victory, but I have full faith in our players to seize this opportunity and qualifying for the World Cup. I also believe that Bahraini supporters will decide the fate of the team," he said.

I see it quite clearly there...how bout u?

I see it now ... I think he caught the Italian bug or somethin  ;D

no one else from Bahrain mentioned the ref

well sometimes soccer fans act tougher than they are ... its mostly the kids trying to show they are "cool" or what ever ...

I remember the Japan game some kid who knew 0 arabic went up to the japanese and said "we will $#@$ your team" what was funny is that some Bahraini fans went up to the japanese guy and said "don't listen to crazy people"

lol the true people will always be true inside no matter what  ;)

The Trinidad people welcomed us well, and we will do the same

continue saying Bahrain is a shit side ...

lol

fact is Bahrain came into trinidad and completely shut down a team that you said would whoop our ass 5-0 on both legs.

Bahrain and Trinidad have equal teams... and its gonna be hard to call a winner

  ;D ;D

its a shame that one of our countries has to lose in such a way ...

we don't have the money as countries beside us, we don't have a good league, we are a small island country that every one likes but no one considers ...

lol we and you are very similar ... and both our people have passion, and want this dream ... no matter who goes out its gonna be sad

Football / Re: bahrain all yuh rellllllllll show poor spoirtsmanship...

actually its very normal to waste time ... and the referee does not allow wasting time to an extent where you have a goal kick yet you wait like a minute to take it... but walking normally to take a corner is 100% legal and a correct thing to do in an away game...

I say stop complaining and start concentrating on football ...

I don't think the Bahraini team were poor sports, they did not play to injure the apponent... they did not pass the ball between their players for the last 10 minutes ... they helped trini players up on their feet, they hugged after the game, and before the game ...

on the pitch its a battle feild ... you are playing to reach the world cup for the first time in your life ...

not playing a freindly ...

You really think he scared.

fellers update right now i going to ah place called QUDHAIBIYA BAY and ah man tell meh he go link meh with some young ting.

but doh frighten i in the military and we rolling with we machine and camera in hand

laterzzzzzzzzzzzz

careful man ... don't do anything unless you trust that person ...

Bahrainies are good, but there are foreigners that belong to big mafia's as well as bad seeds, so don't trust every one unless you are sure ...

also with taxi cabs they will see you are not from the country and try to shaft you tell them to always turn on the meter no " we will give you a special deal" ...

Always bargin for prices (unless in malls ...) but in the souk or traditional markets always bargin ...

 :)

Alsalman I going to seef mall tomorrow maybe we could link up and buy some jewelry from some of your homeboys.

I wish man ... I'm in Ottawa, Canada  :( suffering in 0 degrees celcius with a chance of Snow ... rather than back home in the good weather  :(

Just pointers for you which I hope would help

1- check with the trinidad delegation, because the seat division in the stadium in bahrain is a bit different, I think there is a section kept for trinidad fans.

2- Seef mall is good, as well as Al'Aali mall, Bahrain mall, and Dana mall ... funny thing they are close to each other  ;D

3- Bahrainies are nice people, they are similar to trinidad people in that they are proud, yet nice inside... however don't be bothered by kids acting tough or over cool (chances are you won't see any idiots anyways  :))

4- If you are interested in a bit of clubing or something http://www.nightlifeinbahrain.com/ as well as http://www.clickbahrain.com/clickbahrain_nightlife.asp

might help ... just beware the crappy places ... normally infested with Saudies and Russian mob forced prostitution ... not nice places ... stick to the popular one's

5- I think some members here are in Bahrain at the moment I am sure some of them will be thrilled with meeting you, as for bahrainwillin you won't find him in Bahrain apparently he's spanish or latin american  >:(

6- AS FOR THE PEOPLE NOT FEELING IT ... trust me  ;) they are very hyped up, every one talks about it, every one feels it, every one is hyped ... w0000000000 only difference ! Trinidad is a carnival out oriented people like to show it ... Bahrainies by culture are intwardly oriented ... meaning that they feel it just don't show it in the same way as Trinidad  :) ANOTHER REASON WHY YOU SHOULD CONTACT THE TRINIDAD DELEGATION ... the game is at 8:30 doors will be forced shut at 4:30-5 because there will not be a seat left ... unless you are with the trini delegation, hence you have a section ... Bahraini fans will pack the house ... they will be loud ... rude... and nastly (very weird if you meet them before the game its the other way around lol)

I doubt it ... both sets of players would never let an injured player lie on the ground ...

as for the refs they are from south america ... they out of every one give diving a large part of their game ...

atleast both sets of teams respect each other and are too much of men to injure other on purpose  :)

Football / Re: That was a gran golaso from Birchall

at least we know that if is 1-1 in Manama .. they wouldn't be faking injuries and wasting time

thats an assumption to say your team won't play for a result is naive ... if its 2-2 they would do the same other wise they are out of their mind

-----------------------

also a pretty goal ... I hated it but I acknowledged it as great  ;D

Trust me ... payback is a bitch.
I doubt your shieks will love to see Latapy take 4 minutes to get on a stretcher ... and then refuse it.

I don't care what "sheikhs" think ... its normal ... I would hate it just as much as I was hating Bahraini players on the floor cause it was either dumb, or just stupid lol

I do however think fatigue was setting in on the players as well

ya mad or wha? bahrain cant even kick for dem 4king lives. we play de betta game. jus wait till we go into bahrain. all yuh go be crying back into all yuh caves.

aah the nice racist anti arab american joke ... "make them hide in their caves with binladen"

Before insulting Bahrain a few points

1- that dude is a racist

2- He's not from Bahrain

3- no need to insult others ...

Football / Re: One chapter left- my take on the game in summary

time wasting is part of the game ... you don;t have to like it... I hated it ...

but when U are the away team in such a game you do that ... its normal

I'm sure you also have to roll around on the ground and fake injuries.
Cheating has always been part of the game - Maradona was glorified for it.

That's why he's facing his demons now.
But don't worry .. your time will come.

completely unrelated ... maradona's deamons came because he is a druggie ... and lazy lol

such small manouvers are part of the game, diving is even worse ...

the bottom line is the result ... not what you think ... U don;t have to like it ...

as long as the team many of you said can't score scored ... as long as the team many of you thought would come and role over and lose 5-0 proved you wrong

I'm happy

no prob man ... credit goes to the trini fans who showed up while their team did not ...

both teams played horrible ... but I guess both teams want to get to the world cup and are scared ...

as for anti football while I agree its frustrating to watch ...

but it works

Italy (3 wc that way), greece in the last euro so ... its all about the team performance

but im sure its louder in our stadium than most if not all of the others

while I respect the Trini fans... the sound level does not compare to Iran nor Uzbekistan, nor even Japan

true, Azadi is scary. And thoes Japanese people never stop!

Salman did you go see the game live? How was it???

they shafted me ... sons of bees ...
