Don't see it as disrespectful at all. The English have seriously underachieved on the International stage. Since 66 they have done little for a Nation that boast to own the game. An honest assessment will show one semi since 66. They have not even made a note in the Euro. EVER. England have a reputation of doing well in Friendly matches, but when push come to shove they have a history of folding like parata.

Totally enjoyed the Bundesliga this year. Almost all the games were played in an attacking manner & without fear. Good product & healthy for the game.

I have respect for a lot of the England players as they have achieved great things at their clubs. But, as a national team, I don't look at England and think they are going to be a real threat at the World Cup…..I look at as a real threat are Germany and Spain. After that it's a group including Argentina, Holland, Italy and one or two more. But England I don't even think about'.

-Neymar da Silva

Belgium can be a dark horse. They have good individual quality in many positions, but may lack experience.

as Sam say straightening bananas dat that reminds me how when I was going to school in DC and NY I told several people that my family had a banana bending factory back home in trinidad. Said Americans don't know that bananas actually grow straight and we have one of the old school factories where we bend them by hand before shipping them to the US. Told them how most of the banana bending factories elsewhere now did it with machines.
Wonder how many of them still telling people the "unknown fact" that bananas actually grow straight

I use to tell people in Canada that in T&T macaroni grow on trees ;D

All it means is FIFA wash their hands. Deflecting from any potential further investigations with FIFA. ie: Sepp inept

They have to want more than money to represent TNT

Why? They are professionals, this is how they earn a living and feed their family. I don't see any other professional in other walk's
of life working for free for the sake of the country. Bet your bottom dollar every team in CONCACAF paying their National team players.
Even at U20 & U23 CONCACAF teams paying players. This is 2013, not 1970's when we use to play for a buns and sweet drink.

It would really show some unity if the local clubs & league, could come together  and do everything possible for ideal preparation to take place. I know I know, but IMHO opinion it would be good for football.

He is 26 and now sign a 5 year contract with Monaco.. whatever dream he had of playing for a big club is over.. Spurs was his best chance, they would have come back in for him this summer... I agree that he good enough to play for any of the big clubs in England and Madrid could find a spot for him if Alonso leaves..

Oh well..

James Rodriguez will play 2-3 seasons there and they will sell him for big bucks if he keeps his projected path..tipped to be the next big thing..only 21 now so a couple more seasons to boost his rep

Monaco trying to build a good squad to take on PSG one time..when they get a CL spot is even more money hungry men going there..I will bet scarface Tevez end up there this summer

How Moutinho still hasn't been bought by a major club yet is beyond me.

Truth! He was outstanding for Portugal in the Euro. Sometimes players just comfortable, money is enough and piece of mind with enjoyment more important. I get the feeling this was always his motivation. He may jump to Monaco now just for security. Then again, comfortable club, tiny fan base, minimal pressure & stunning life style. Remember Klinsman went there at 28 (in his prime), Morientes at 27 the list goes on

Took in Star Trek... I give it a 7, and that was mostly because  I like scifi movies. On another note has anyone seen Ghett'a Life? It's a Jamaican flick. Not bad for an all local film crew.

Full movie below... can someone help me out and put up on screen? lol don't know how to do that.

Enjoyed Getta Life! It reminded me of the situation that existed in Northern Ireland back in the day. Seriously backward shit, but that is politics for you.

Bayern are the more balanced team, with a potent attack & solid defense. With Goetze out and Hummels doubtful, Dortmund must be rattled mentally. Robben will be desperate to bury his ghost of struggling in finals. 3 CL and 1 WC.
All said its one game, winner take all anything can happen.

I really hope the CFU do a good job with this. When it was held in T&T, a few teams almost quit the competition and left, due to a lack of hotel rooms, disorganized scheduling & no flights booked for teams playing in Tobago.
The Digicel Cup was a disaster in Antigua, in terms of organization and quite frankly it makes the region look Mickey Mouse to the rest of CONCACAF.

Congrats to the gunners ... hopefully we can push on to bigger and better things next season!

We papa! Where you come out from? Well it was not pretty but Arsenal got the job done. Sale time
Diaby, Ramsey, Mertesacker, Squillache, Arshavin, Gervinho

Arshavin gone already. His contract expires in June and earlier this year Arsene said they not going to renew it. I think Bentdner and Chamakh entering final year of theirs. Arsene should just pay them off to leave. Who going and roll the dice on Gervinho and Squillaci ? The way Arsenal wage structure set up them getting paid more than they would get otherwise, so why would they leave for less money? Is best to pay them off and give them a free transfer. Ramsey and Mertesacker not going anywhere for better or worse.
Deep down I know that eh. But I hope Arsene send dem Technical and make them bench fitters  ;D

This should be a very interesting Tournament

Spain, Mexico, Italy, Nigeria, Japan, Tahiti, Uruguay, Brasil

Considering the times of the games, which will be a contrast to the actual WC. It will be interesting to observe the various tactical approach of the Nations involved. I say this because the Climatic conditions in South Africa were better suited to the Euro teams, where as Basil will be very different

Looking forward to the games bro. What times the matches broadcasting?

June 15th - 30th

but didn't ronaldo fall dong like a stuntman too?

He stunt wasn't straight-to-video  ;D.

But for real, all them divers need to get ban after video review. Kick and dive was passing whole game, it was like karate in a swimming pool.
But that dive was so bad... steups...

:D Yes it was, I actually doh even believe ronaldo touch de man, but to be honest, if was against anybody else, ah mighta geh vex because I rel hate de diving, too, but when ah see is ronaldo gettin a taste of his own medicine (and he administer enough medicine to full up all dem pharmacy in Ft Lauderdale eh.  :D) ah cyah feel sorry fuh him.....but I agree, fifa need to be rel forceful wit de diving.

On another note, I giving MOM to Courtois....de boy rel impressive in trute.

Interesting cause in the video replay it looked like the man eh get touch, but on the side line he had a bloody nose. Real can have no complaints in slow motion most of the refs calls were spot on. Congrats Atl Madrid  :applause:

Most people on this site saying the same thing for over a decade.  What you have written so beautifully should be placed in the newspaper not necessarily here on the forum, because you preaching to the converted.
