Why did we end up having to play about 15 added minutes, anyway I was well aware that El Salvador will be a very difficult match, this experience will work very well for us.Well done to the boys.

Mr.Eve must be doing something right because many on here if they are honest expected us to lose. The statistics showed we had the better of the game so I don't see a big problem.Sometimes football could be made more complicated than it's supposed to be,I heard AE,telling the players,"if every player do what he is supposed to do we should not have problems"that,I must admit is true.We won and some are not satisfied,we beat a good team with players in better leagues than ours.

This is very heart breaking, are we a football loving nation or not, seems like we are not.Still no one cares to put the result of Defense Force vs Cavalier of Jamaica.I live in England for donkey bloody years and still feel the way I did more than 40 years ago of my love for TT football. This is the Socawarriors football site and not one Trini can tell or jus post the result of the match, makes you wonder, what do we like.

Tallman,I wasn't aware of the make up of the Guat team,i don't even know their best blayers from their fringe players.I just thought that for a mainly home bred TT team, they did well.I have to consider all the traumas our home footballers have had to experience over the last 3 years.BTW i am always respectful of what you guys have to say.

Isn't it strange how Eve keeps talking about the home based players as not good enough, yet we beat Guatemala with a mostly home based team.Watch what Guatemala is doing in the GC,our foreign based players didn't make the difference as he thought. We may as well stick with our boys at home.I see Guat have a big match coming vs the Reggaeboyz,I don't think Guatemala would lose 4-1,I feel it will go to penalties.

Why blame the government or even the opposition, the government have their job to try and cut the crime situation and robberies with home invasions,no time for our shameless footballers. Not even minnows get beaten 6-0 nowadays.SHAME,SHAME,SHAME. :cursing:

gawd on pitch,I suspect as you say, having 11 overseas born players doesn't work for every team, the best example being Curasao and Surinam,I know Jamaica too have come unstuck sometimes with almost a full overseas born players.I can also point out that we should have qualified for the 74 WC but I won't say much bout that, remember they,TT was all home grown. In 89 we again should have qualified but the Ref didn't give the 2 penalties he should have given, again all our players were home grown.

Very soon all those Caribbean countries will have mostly overseas born players,i expect the Yardboyz will soon be playing 11 overseas players.

Deeks,Juniors was my team and I supported them from the age of 10.I lived just across the road from Skinner Park and learnt all the sports by living in Skinner Park literally.I won't forget those times in Trinidad, all those impromptu football and cricket matches.Life was so great. :)

gawd on pitch,I was aware of those points you talked about on these French departments, they are parts of France,in a way, even so French Guyana lost out when the match was awarded to Honduras.I definitely don't trust us having to go through those matches to qualify,I hope they ban Nicaragua rass.

In 2017 French Guyana played Florent Molouda who played for France many times but was born in French Guyana. He was selected to play for FG against Honduran in a Gold Cup match against Hon,it ended in a 0-0 draw but the match was eventually awarded to Honduras after investigations. He had played for France 80 times.

I am amazed that no bigger European Club cannot put in an offer for Levi Garcia,it would be nice to see him in England with an EPL club. All I keep hearing is ,some clubs are showing interest, come on man buy the bloody boy.

Trini_2026,let's hope you are right and Cummings is back.During his performances in the the matches he played I was sure he would have got a contract in England, that was not to be as we know why.Anyway I am hoping that if he is 70% of what he was it would be good for us.

Is there a possibility that we can see Kerron Cummings on the national team for matches to come? What a player he was when I last saw him.

There was no need for Aubrey David to handle the bal inl a second or 2 the ball could have been put into the net with his body apart from his hand.
