asylumseekerYour post above is exactly how I thought King would plan for, as you say a point was viable, don't go" gung ho" for a win,on paper that wasn't possible but we know how things can go sometimes, still looking at it objectively we were not going to beat the Hondurans.so look for what looks a likely achievement.Again why did King not see it like that.

I am not aware of how many teams go forward from our Group,I suspect it maybe 2 or could be 3,not sure anyway, one thing is for sure we can't beat Jamaica on paper, and there are question marks on us beating any of the other teams,Jamaica and Honduras are sure to be first and second. If it's 2 teams to qualify from the Group then we dead and buried,3 teams we may get out is more Sooca Worrories in we backside

Fyzoman,I take your explanation because you seems to be better informed than me,all the best to Levi anyway.Let me say though,I feel we can do just as well with Levi as we can do without,we won't be the first team to be with potentially the best player. Many teams tend to play better without star players at times.

Levi Garcia is not bothered about TT just as Yorke did at one time. Sorry to say that but it looks that way,we may as well not bother about annoying him, when he wants to play he must tell TTFA.

What do you think Molik Jesse Khan should do,stay in TT,I feel he could be open to a bigger market in the USA,he must be a special player to have played Professional football in TT at 15.He is still very young and we could be seeing more of him future.

While looking at some of the scores I spotted the best football name for some time,it was Zidane Liverpool, you can't get better than that.

Baha men did well enough, played with 10 men for 45 minutes and only lost 1-0,not bad for the Socawarriors.

On a good day we can match CR and may be good enough for a win or a draw,I am not even thinking about a loss.

I am fedup of seeing Levi Garcia travel from Greece to come and play for us for 10,15 or 20 minutes,we have reached where we are without his help,it seems we can do without him.

« on: May 14, 2024, 02:38:51 PM »
I was surprised that we beat this Guyaneez team, they have had some quite good results in recent times.I am not sure if they played with some of their foreign players but even without them it's a very good result for TT.As I said I didn't think our local boys could have pulled off a win against Guyana,I hope I am right in saying we are showing signs of improvement.Well played and make it a double by winning the next match.

Our Under 17 did a very good job to come away with a drawn series, first beating Jam.in the first match and losing the second 2-1,those results were not expected by our schlloboys, compare them to Jamaica's heavyweights with 8 foreign players.I hope this is a sign of good things to come,Bravo! :)

gawd on pitch,,O skites man I thought he was 23,I still think he could go to Europe,it doesn't have to be the top ones butthose clubs willing to buy a player at a price they feel will suit their finances, not clubs at the top but good teams.

I hope this boy Reon Moore will soon be in Europe, I wish him all the best because from the 2 ocassions I saw him he belongs to the big leagues in Europe, the EPL will suit him.I would love to see him with one of the top 5 EPL teams.

gawd on pitchis the first person to have posted his feelings about the nam "Soca Warriors",I feel if our supporters take a closer look they will eventually think of rebranding.Following Jamaica was wrong we are smarter than that, the nation should be involved in choosing a name,a name that stirs our emotions.I can recall when we qualified for 2006 everyone at work thought Soca Warriors was meant to mean Soccer Warriors,I explained what it meant but they never heard Soca music. If in England people didn't know I imagine nowhere in Europe would know, maybe in Venezuela would know.Credit to g o p for starting post for a name change,

gawd on pitchIf I ever meet you I'll give youa Gold Medal for that post.As you say we should not have followed Jamaica, and as you say Soca does not go with Warriors they must think over that name properly. We need a name that moves our emotions.

Please could someone explain to me why our football is controlled by outside sources,I am not as deep into our football apart from what I see, results and posts etc,but it would be nice if I could know why, and how we are controlled. If the control is true does the players know this, because if you go out to not win the players should know.I have to say, looking at how EVE is selecting the side, and his formation, his non selection of some players, I sort of feel the Socawarriors are being controlled to some degree, but I really don't want to believe it.

I have been reading some posts and theories that seems to imply AE would be playing a team to lose against Canada, this is to suit some outside interest that wants to see TT fail.As we all know, sport can sometimes shock followers with results that is least expected,I don't have to give examples we know them all. This Canadian team is not in the same class as the USA, and we recently beat the USA with a TT team not much different from the present one, don't forget that Jam recently beat Canada coming from behind after being 2-nil down,TBH i feel TT is now not far behind Jamaica in ability, who is to say that we are sure to lose or even sure to win,it's a football match any result is possible.I know our football have been through a lot of difficult times, but if our boys put on a performance against Canada like we did against the mighty USA, then we will beat Canada.

So TT is playing Jamaica it's a friendly but an important match (we lost the the first) but the matches are of great importance to TT and Jamaica but more important for us,why can't we get a score after the final whistle.Anyway it's not a problem because the Reggaeboyz Forum has the score,TT0 Jam 0 a draw.Their football Forum is much more professional, sorry to say that but it is true.

FIFA should make some football matches with a HANDICAP imposed on teams when there is no chance of the other team winning, for example Mex vs TT,i sugest, make the Mexico goal bigger. ;D
