Ah can see what yuh talking about eh bounty but CR tend to get goodish results against dem bigger teams and stumble against people like Haiti and Guadeloupe, these two teams not better than Jam or TT with all their players.I urging Jam to buss dem up so we can start a new trend.Jam and TT have de ability to tek over. All we need is ah start.I have meh heart set on Jam and TT making it to SA.Ah know we had some internal probs,Jam and TT but we settling dong now with good men at de top. There is anew era emerging, watch it.

CR haven't been looking that good in recent times although they got to the semis of the Gold Cup where they beat Guadeloupe luckily 1-0
If Jamaica get all their players it could be a win for the Boyz.I feel it would be a good thing to start stinging these Central Americans as soon as possible.Tings have to start changing and Trinidad and Jamaica must see to that,we must also trash Guadeloupe good and proper.
The journey to Africa starts on the 6th of Feb for TT and Jam.
KNOCK DEM CENTRAL AMERICANS OFF THEIR BLOODY PERCH.

Dont diss his move coz India football league has attracted quite a lot of foreign players from all over the world including Brazil. An Indian League team could possibly beat a TT football league selection, there is always something to learn,no matter what.In case you dont know football was the number one sport in India in the 50s,India even got to the finals of the Olympics and got the silver,I am not to sure but I think they also got bronze another time. There crowds are massive at club level and football is taking off in a big way. There is a football magazine called World Soccer it is very informative.Didn't India beat us in the 70s at the QPO.

Bermuda have been a worry for us since 1960,Iremember we neened a draw to qualify for the Olympics and Bermuda beat us 1-0.Lincoln Phillips was in goal,we battered their goal for the entire game but could not score,we hope for better this time.

« on: November 27, 2007, 03:16:18 AM »
I have to believe that triniscout may have spoken a few "home truths" and I do not totally disagree with him.We can all remember when Yorke was in his "pomp" he refused to come back and play for TT on several occassions, not only that but he feigned injury to avoid playing for TT.Latapy showed a little more interest but not much more.Yorke suddenly came back to us when he realized that he could showcase his skills to get back into the English Premier League. Now that he has achieved that he has retired and so to has Latapy and now Lawrence.Looking at those fellas play gives reason to believe that they still have plenty to give TT so I dont understand their reason for quitting international football. They could at least be part of the set up in the early qualifying stages. It is not like we are over flowing wit players to take their place, their pride for Trinidad is questionable.I do not understand why those 3 have chosen to retire,is it because they are now comfortable and do not need Trinidad anymore. As trininscout asked,do they give a little to some of the schools, just a little not much. The African players do so much for their children back in Africa. Our players could do well to learn about love from the Africans.
Stern John seems to be the exception.

What he said is totally true, the fact is that Warner has done a lot for Trinidad football, there is no doubt about that.

Anytime a Caribbean team beat a Central American team I see it as impeovement and cant wait for the day when TT and Jam  takes the place of Mexico and all the others in CONCACAF.I am hoping that TT can follow Jamaica when they get their house in order but time is slipping away, I may have to get my Reggaeboyz 98 top out of the retirement.

Very good idea RF,something good must come out of such a fixture even if we learn a little bit from each other,I have always wondered why we dont do.As you pointed out a neutral venue might be just as good as home and away.

I feel sorry for Scotland. They were definitely cheated out of a chance for the Euro finals. What a shame they wern't given the penalty that was so obvious,if that was bad what about the foul against Scotland in which the resulting free kick gave Italy the winner.Sooner than later technology must be used for fair play.

When is the return leg?

There is no reason why Jamaica shouldn't win those friendlies with the team they have at their disposal.Remember TT got draws recently with El Sal and Guatemala. They should at least not loose.

We have done quite well thank you, considering that we have played with reserves since WC 2006.SOME PROPER CUT-ARSE COMMING ALLYUH WAY SOON,Brits or no Brits.Ah hope allyuh dont draw one ah dem likkle hilands like St.Vin or St.Kitts in the pre-lims.By the way dont study the FIFA rankings too much because nobody could make sense of it,before I go,let me say four Trinis scored today,John,Jones,Spann and Scotland Sealey and Samuel have also been in scoring mood to,things are coming together for the Socawarriors.Remember none of those fellaz have played for us since WC2006.Awrite Reggaefan and Jamaica 2099.

Go back to the 1998 qualification matches that Jamaica played, you played your first two matches with Jamaican players and was kicked in the arse to the tune of I think 8 or 9 goals.Simoes then sent out an SOS to England for players and you had about 8 ,that is why you got to France,on the backs of Brits.Having said that,El Salvador was cheated in the return match in Jamaica when you won 1-0 with a hotly disputed penalty, what made matters worse was,the ref was a Brazillian and your coach, need I say more.If that penalty had not been awarded you would never have been to France so be thankfull to the Ref and the Brits. We love our players because we speak the same language and they were born and bred in "Sweet T&T.

Seabra was refused TT citizenship on application, the explanation was that thousands of others would want to do the same.I am sure though that Jamaica would have given him a useless Jam PASSPORT.Haven't Jamaica just given a Nicaraguan footballer a Passport.Jamaica would constantly look for Brits because they cannot produce footballers, yes we have Birchill but he showed interest in playing for us.Its different with Jamaica, they actively go out looking for Brits or any other foreigners they can find..I am amazed that you have so much pride about Brits playing for you.TT was cheated out of the 1974 WC,we then almost made it in 90 and eventually made it in 2006,all that with one Brit.Continue to play catch up,everytime allyuh reach within striking distance we go pull away from yuh.

Football / Re: Yorke should play in our 2010 Qualifiers...
« on: October 15, 2007, 04:33:48 PM »
Its true that Yorke did well for us and played his heart out for the qualifiers for 2006 WC.It was the only time of his career that he cared about playing for TT,the reason is simple,he was show casing himself to get back into English football,as soon as he got back,he retired from international football.Over the years he has constantly fefused to play fo TT in crucial games.Dwight York only cares about himself,I would bet odds of 100to 1 that if he was still playing in Australia he would not have retired from Internationals.

2697
Trinidad haven't played with its regular team since the WC,we have been forced to use reserve players,Iam sure you are aware of that. You dont have long to wait before they are together again, when and if we meet you in the WC pre-lims we would have a better idea as to who is best. Some of our best are waiting, having said that our reserves didn't do too badly, you won the Digicel cup but we played with a reserve team.No need to bray bout that.

If he wins the elections and becomes PM,i HOPE HE SPEND PLENTY MONEY ON OUR FOOTBALLERS.That is not too much to ask, seeing that we have so much oil money. When oil finish we can then give our footballers to the rest of the world. That would replace oil as our most expensive export.

Lets face it jamaica2099,you Jamaicans would do anything to try and out-do Trinidad, that is all you lot are trying to achieve ,whatever you do though,it would take some time to equal TTs achievements.I am talking about football and home-bred footballers so dont come with that crap bout globalisation.TT have in the past turned down players with Trini roots from Sweden,Germany,USA and England,BEGGING is not a Trini habit.Marlon King told Dwnswell to f**k his country, didn't he play for Jamaica?Wait fuh Panama or St.Vincent to buss allyuh in the pre-liminary stages of 2010 WC and all dem Brits go fly out ah Asafa airport or whatever airport yuh call it.We have one regular Brit and he asked to play for TT,so when you want to put out a big boast, mek shore yuh ah tarkin bout Yardies,ARRITE?As me seh,we nah beg.
