This is a football match sanctioned by FIFA and if we win we climb the standings, there's a lot of pride for every man involved, including the coach and manager. How can anyone say the match has no meaning.Let us just say that SKN played a player who,for some reason should not have been in their team, you do know they would be disqualified and TT would go top.Anyway so many things in life are important to those layers who played one of the best matches I have seen over the past few years,I for sure, didn't expect that,SKN did try some rough tactics but the boys didn't react.I we continue to improve, the great SKN brought back down to earth with a painful bump.

I cannot believe it's the same team,so easily could have been 2 or even 3.Show these Kitts and Nevis what they can expect when they start the next phase.

No manager could motivate such a bunch of idiots, most clueless, like it was the first time they ever stepped on a football pitch. The first thing I saw as everybody else, was the line of defenders Bahamas employed. We didn't even try to attack from the flanks, try and pull them out,we just tried once or twice, every attack was from the middle which suited Bahamas down to the ground,it just went on and on.We try the attack from the middle and they just tighten up their defence, didn't we have wingers, seems like it.
This match against St.Kitts should where our rebuilding starts, drop every man who was incapable of beating the 2nd or 3rd worst team in the world, all dem can do is pose and pretend to be footballers, most ah dem too big fuh dem boots, drop them all and start again.

We may still win this 1-0 and beat St.Kitts 2-1 and go on to beat teams like Costa Rica,Honduras,Mexico,USA and Jamaica, then top the Hex and qualify for WC 2022 .
This is the worst football I have ever had the misfortune to sit down and watch. What a load of dumbf**ks I had to watch, and I am talking about those shithounds playing for Trinidad. Not one of those even hold a ball and move it around just a little, they are all a load of planks, win or draw.

We should be using this match as a practice match instead of worrying about it,even if we play in practice mode we should still score 4 or 5,the real football starts on the 8th June 2021.

Should we be so overly worried about beating St.Kitts,we f**ked up against P.Rico and a lesson was learnt, just play the football we know we can, that is what we must do.I think every player plus the coach and manager knows exactly what is required. When allyuh worry I worry to,be positive and kick negativity outta de way.

What a shame our people never thought of leaving TT since the 60s like most West Indians did.I suppose life was too sweet for almost half of the population, the other half was too poor, to even think about going abroad.Every other Island including Guyana could call upon players who were born abroad, in better footballing countries. We better forget bout outsiders because the best teams we ever had was all Trinis born and bred,ah cyah forget The Strike Squad, and back in 1970 when were robbed by Haiti and their HENCHMEN.We eh got nobody abroad, and even when we have, they don't want to play for us.TBH, who in their right mind would want to play for TT if they read this MB :(

Man preparin he excuses from now.

As dey say....takin in front

If the team somehow surmounts these "impossible odds and adversity", it will be because of his superior training techniques and expertise.

Good tactic.
Well TBH I trust the Englishman more than Trini DL,he was taking TT down to a low.

Kevin Molino has done very little for TT and we keep hoping to see him every time we play, get Cummins in the team now and forget Molino.Let's hope TF go for K.Cummins,it was a sad day for TT football when somebody shoot the boy for nothing that really did put Cummins back by years, but I hope he plays again.

Luke Singh is 6ft 2inches and weighs 164 lbs, surely he should put on some weight in a couple years,I suppose his height makes him look slight. At the moment I can count several players in the EPL who is surely lighter than Luke Singh.

When we beat Guyana we celebrated,I didn't and was worried about our matches against St.Kitts &Nevis and this same P.Rico.In case people didn't recognise we were very lucky against Guyana, now yuh know.Although we got lucky goals against Guyana they themselves should have got 3,and secured a draw. Our defence is the worst I've seen for sometime, our mid field can't hold a ball for 5 seconds,we keep losing the ball, everything is wrong.TF or no one else can fix TT football anytime soon. This team is going no where,I have reason to believe that Guyana could still come back and top this group, they can't be unlucky again as they were against TT,who IMO played a crappy game but won ,luckily. We will be in need of plenty luck to beat St.Kitts & Nevis.

Yuh mention "composure",the best word to sum up quite a lot of our Mid Field game where we losing ball tooeasily, and as you say more composure needed up front. We won it with a team that didn't play the best football.

I feel sorry for our Trini players who appear to be suffering from so many ills in the TT setup, there always appear to be problems.I don't mind that they go to India because I feel, Indian football will improve as it definitely has been doing, you'd never expect India to get a draw with Nigeria, but let's forget that.Trini players in India would, or could be seen by scouts from countries much better than India.Egypt,Iran and most Arab countries all better than India, even European scouts can see them, next they could be out of India in better footballing countries.Igo back to the improvement of Indian football and some very surprising results, our boys are having to fight for their places, there are good players from Africa,Europe,South America etc.Anyway I always read your posts and I don't know why I am telling you all this, which you probably know.Football is full of emotions and I am growing old and older waiting for us to get to a position we once enjoyed, sometimes my feelings could be described as,"a drowning man clutching at straws".

Trini 2022Why should what you say "hit a nerve",to start with our football has been in the doldrums for how long, and talk about bacchanal with the people in charge,is always something wrong with this one or that one,I can go on.The fact is our boys who have gone to India will most likely get contracts quicker than those in TPL.You are not the only one who tend to have a laugh at our players in India, followed by some snide remarks. At the moment there are 12 players of Asian background in the EPL,squad members mainly who haven't had a game, there are 4, I think at the moment in the EPL,more than we have .A recent Indian player left Chelsea and now plays wit Stevenage,he left because of the race problem. There is an Asian coach in English football. What I'm trying to say is,football is big among the Asian population and needless to say they are suffering the the same shit that many Caribbean and African youths suffered from the late 60s to the late 70s and more.I always love football and have always supported the underdogs,I like India,Madascar,Mauritius etc.I think India will have more than 25 players in the next 5 years to utilise for their national team,I would love to see our football get back to the top as we once were, but TBH I can't see us beating Guyana from what I'm reading.I hope I'm wrong.

It's intriguing when India's NT coach is ambivalent about selecting players from outside of India's top flight and we ...

Imagine where our guys have to go for a pay check ......
I think you blokes are not aware of Indian football and how much it has improved, you make a "laughing stock"of everybody which is a characteristic of many Trinis including close relations of mine.I am sure you are aware that the Indian league attracts footballers from every footballing country including South America.I am not saying they are from the top leagues but many would be better than some or many of TTs lot.India can probably call on 11 or more players from the UK in the lower leagues. Why downgrade the boy because he plays in India, maybe you might know something TF don't know.

Everytime I hear or see Gally Cummings I remember how he was the reason we did not qualify for 1990 with the3 best football team the Caribbean has ever seen or known.A team of schoolboys could have held out for a draw against that USA team.

I remember as young boy in Trinidad how we used to have at least 5 very good Goal Keepers to choose from, now we have to stay with one who has never kept a clean sheet in years.I keep hearing about a Canadian Trini who has been highly rated,Ranjitsingi is the name,a good Trini name that :D,anyway mate let's hope for a start that would lead us to the team we know we can be.

That's the way to go TF,why stick with the players who have brought TT nothing but woe, time to "DUSSOUT".I cannot help but recall how supporters were asking for a new start, well we got that now and what a brave move, win or lose.I am sure TF will be looking for positives and hopefully find 2 or 3 "rough diamonds" who will join the five or six sure starters, could be more.

Levi Garcia is right about the discouraging comments that our own Trinis make about players going to India, the Indian League is on par with TT league or better, not worse, there's a liklihood of being spotted by scouts from Europe and many other scouts, from better footballing countries than TT.The Indian League has players from Europe,South America,Central America ,Australia and Asia,we cannot match that.Garcia is right.

DeeksI am pleased that you have given me that bit of info.I have been listening to this bloke Philip Alexander and if he is to believed, then both the Government and the UNC have done very little apart fro fill their pockets, and both have done badly when in power. What hurts about TTs politics is the Afro,Indian politics,I mean man,it's 2020 and our people I see as, the most intelligent in the Caribbean, are still voting by race.I seriously believe that things would change if the UNC can change and become a party with a smaller percentage of Indians also, have a non Indian leader.I believe then our voters won't be stuck in a voting culture decided by race,I would also like to see Indians vote for the PNM in strong UNC areas.Maybe I am asking too much.

Why those people always rioting, burning the place dong, getting killed by the police, are they the most deprived people in Trinidad and Tobago.Does the Government know that those people are their most faithful supporters, why haven't the government done anything for them over 60 years.Did they think a f**king swimming pool will solve their problems, those people must show the government, just once that they are fed up and give their vote to someone else,if not don't vote at all. They have been pissed on for 60 years.

What is more surprising is Abu Bakr lining up with the Government, the PNM,as the saying goes "only in Trinidad".This man is living the life of Riley after committing Treason, should have been shot by a Firing Squad,or serving a Prison sentence for life, and it shudda mean life. This is the hallmark of a Banana Republic.

DeeksI will keep my fingers crossed for this man who I think is more Trini than me,I hope his attitude has changed and less of the hot head.TF mirrors the attitude of people from the North East, the people come from very deprived parts and maybe TF is one with such a background. They all seem to have a fighting spirit and even sound like they want to fight when they speak. When I was studying in Manchester I heard one of the students talking,I said are you from Newcastle, his reply,"like f**k I'm not i'm from Carlisle",the thing is Carlisle is a stones throw from Newcastle.Manchester people call them "nutters".One question did you agree with TF as our coach.

We have messed about for over 10 years with a load of nobodies who couldn't prove zilch,we now get a man born into football in football crazy North East of England, played for England, and also has some extensive experience, why the fuss now,I am sorry for TT.Just wait see what he can do,he hasn't inherited plain sailing,it's not an easy job to reshape TT football. Why fuss about the money the man will be earning,it's not mind blowing by standards of a national coach, the people in charge knew what they were doing,Mr.Fenwick didn't write the contract himself, did he.

I took the chance to read up on some topics but found a whole load of old stuff about UNC and KPB.I was hoping to read some stuff about the business that took place between the TT government and Venezuela/Aruba and the 150 million dollars.I would like also to comment on what I am hearing from the leader of the PEP,is Trinidad being robbed of millions by their politicians. Why after 58 years in power TT suffer so many ills, and is Covid-19 only a smokescreen to cover up their failures after a bit over 4 years.I read the TT papers everyday and can't help sigh sadly, you are ruled by a dictatorship and don't know,ah hear allyuh "like it so",it look so to me.For TT sake I hope Philip Alexander wipe out the PNM and the UNC and stop this f**king Afro/Indo politics.
