hi everyone am a new member and i think that Brent Rahim should be on the team.He is a an excellent midfielder that has good crosses but i think he just has very bad luck with his clubs and the national team he is fit now and attached to a local club he surely as the ability and skill to do better than Riki shakes.Tell me what you all think

JDB we are the smallest nation ever to make it to a World Cup.I am sure you will agree with me that is no small achievement, by no stretch of the imagination.Failure? I think not. You should also agree that the TTFF deserves some credit for this accomplishment and since Jack's been running it for the past 15 years he deserves some credit too.

Kingman I have to agree with yuh there.De man did a lot for T&T football.Invested many hours and millions of dollars. The ticket fiasco was Warner's attempt to get a return on his investment.I can't blame him for that, but the conflict of interest was just to glaring ...he should have know better.

USA hated because they have no respect and no passion for the sport. I think Argentina not too well like either...still paying for the "hand of God" incident. Locally I get the feeling that Joe Public not well like due to Mr. Warner throwing his weight around.

Personally I don't like when we have more than one player at a club because when it is time for international games, the more players the club has to release, the bigger a problem it is for the club.
One T&T player per European club is ideal.

Good Talk Peong...respect

Football / Re: "Maybe we needed our ass kicked." -- Kasey Keller
« on: March 23, 2006, 11:17:50 AM »
I know the US defense was non existent but Keller have to take some of the blame. In the past you could give the US a fighting chance against any team in the world because of the heroics of Keller.Last night he was less than his usual self.I hope this is trend he plans to continue right on into this summer.

Inter Milan coaches for La Foucade camp.
T&T Express Reports.

Registration for the camp is $325 and organisers will give 40 underprivileged children free entry.

Nice real nice especially the part about free entry for the underprivileged kids...because we all know that is where de real special talent does come from...poor people children!

Guys we have to remember that football in TNT especially at the international level is a business. TTFF does make money $$$ when they host games that are appealing to a mass cross section of the population. As sad as it is some of the match ups suggested in the previous posts will only appeal to the diehard supporters, unfortunately, not enough demand to make the venture a profitable one. Therefore we not going to get these games, unless we can have more individuals like Mr. Warner with the passion and the coffers to bankroll such a venture with little or no return.

What about Track & Field / Re: Darrel flops again at a major event
« on: March 22, 2006, 05:57:24 PM »
I know the man from back in the day when he use to train with Phoenix firebirds in arima Darrel Brown that is...Most talent sprinter I have ever seen...he makes it look effortless. But I think his weakness is his mind. He definitely needs to seek some professional help in this area.Once he gets that straight the sky is the limit

I saw both games and I think they differed in 2 respects i.e. time allowed on the ball and the physical nature of play. In US/German game the players had very little time on the ball. Passes had to come quick and be dead on. In the TNT/Iceland game we had a lot more time on the ball. The 2nd difference was the physical nature of play. The big strong germans were very physical and the enthusiastic Americans were up to the challenge. Will TNT be up to the challenge come summer.
