Some people know bahrain is nice.
Some people DO NOT want to know.
No matter what you do, even if you invite him here and make him stay in your own home, he will still say the same things.
Dosent matter.

Fishs, Dubai is is bigger than Bahrain, but everything else is about the same. We have some of the best gold in the world, alot of things here are 24-22 carat gold. Pearls are also superb. If your coming here, don't bring your girlfriend!  You'll be a very poor man after!

Bahraini brothers, we don't have the right to come and open a thread in the T&T forum and say it's only for Bahrainis - we are visitors here and they set the rules not us. I would definitely say i want Bahrain to win away 1-0 or 2-0 , but Tribagonians are also free to say what they want.

It is very untrue.
We don't have that sort of money!
The Bahraini MP's suggested $100,000 but the suggestion was shot right down.
I don't think they will get anything else besides thier regular win bonuses. Thats all.
And of course we will not pay 1/4 million for something everyone else gets for 35K
And Jamaica too, we agreed on 50,000 and they want 350,000 for a camp now.
You guys must really think were rich huh? 

I'll go watch todays match BRN vs Panama. Its the 2nd & 3rd teams playing today, so I'm not looking at scores as much as tactics. Hope they do well. GO REDS! (thats Bahrain Red of course)

Hi guys, just wanted to keep you updated on our newspapers.

1) Our coach (LUKA) says he will  not use Nekhid because he does not trust him or his motives. Which is a good thing because I do not trust him either.
He also will not use another advisor, Mr. Fakhro. Fakhro analyzed T&T with the "DART FISH" programme but Luka says he will go with his own judgment only. I don't know why but he seems confident or he is very indipendant.

2) the Jamaica camp seems to be not happening. They are asking for US$350000 for one friendly game. Which is of course rediculous. So I think this camp is off and they will look for alternatives.

3) American company (traffic sport) who own the rights for the T&T-BRN match broadcast rights are black mailing us. They asked all neighbouring countries for US$35000 to broadcast the match. But, they asked Bahrain for US$250000 (1/4 million). Naturally, I am pissed off as this is a very low thing to do. I hate such acts and hope our officials do not give them $0.01 as I can easily watch Qatar or Saudi or Kuwait TV with excellant reception. let them lose!

4) Finally, Mr. Jack Warner was interviewed by "Alwasat" news paper. highlights were:
- He commented on the warm welcome that he received.
- He says T&T & Bahrain have similar backgrounds. our population is almost 1 million, T&T has 12 pro players outside T&T & we have 9 pros outside Bahrain. Any team will be the first to go to WC.
- There will be 270 supporters from T&T coming to Bahrain.
- He says calling players from abroad to play for T&T now is "Crazy" & "Stupid". He says it takes 7 years to get T&T passport and it cannot be done that quickly now. He also says that the hotel reservations that he made here in Bahrain carry the same names that played in the last match only.
- He says he did NOT attack Jamaica for agreeing to play with BRN. He says its a good thing because it will allow T&T a closer look at the Bahraini team.

And thats it, he finished by saying thank you and may the best team win.

hey guys ...if we beat your team, or you beat ours, it is all right and you are alwayes welcome to the two seas islands(bahrain).

The Bahraini posters on this site have been nothing but respectful thus far and its very good to know that we can all be friends. I think the Trini fans are more passionate because we've gotten so close twice  before and didn't make it. For 180 minutes I will hate anything Bahraini but after that I will have a lot more respect for your country and your people.

I want T&T to win 3-0 home and draw in Bahrain and I know we can do it.

On a political note, from what I've seen Bahrain is Middle Eastern nation with moderate policies. What is the view of Bahrainis with respect to the U.S., George Bush and the war in Iraq.

You should see Iran supporters.
On the forum they had pictures of burning flags, peeing on our flag and killing players. They were so rude, and they threw rocks at our players and supporters (the broke peices of Azadi stadium and threw it on us!)
Japanese fans are very nice. Very respectful. I have japanese friends and when we played against Uzbekistan they came wearing team colours and cheered for us!
If T&T goes to WC, I will support you guys, of course I hope we win! 

About politics: I think George Bush is the most stupid president ever & he is tricking his country in order to get thier support. Educated people in the US do not support him. Also the war on Iraq is a joke. The US says its a democratic country, then why did it go to war AGAINST majority of UN votes? thats not very democratic and shows very little respect to everyone else.

Bahraini's think he's a spy. You think he's a traitor.
You say that he is an advisor to the world cup team, we hear hes the coach for under 20 and he is banned from attending any men team training.
In your news papers he says he wishes for T&T to win
in our news papers he says that he was treated badly by T&T and wants us to win

I don't trust this Nakhid and I don't know what is the truth anymore.
