MY BAD ... 1986  ... i forgot that the season runs september thru december  ... geez you have me thinking ... i can't even remember when i left school ... LOL.  The game was either in 86 or 85 ... my memory going.

Good Afternoon Everyone,
Some confirmations and corrections ...
1.  The game was played in the 1986/1987 Season.
2.  The team played an italian based defensive style called the "Catanacio" (please forgive me for the spelling ... not sure if i spelt it right ... but you all can check with Mr. Hayden Martin).
3.  Colin did not play that year ... he left Saints in 1986.
4.  We did not jump for joy as if we win the league.  We went with a purpose and that was to get a draw if not a surprise win.

Good Afternoon All,
This topic is a good one ... which reminds me of the age old ?  Which one allyuh rather ... play good and loss or play crap and win?  I remember plenty games in which teams play good and loss (TNT vs Jamaica) for example ... it have a few ah dem games there.  Trini play with more flair and skill and then them JA boys play hard nose ... final score 1-0, TNT loss. 
Ah ent know how long most of you watching, but for me i tired see teams play good and loss.  As a new coach and former college player ... i think i would rather play bad and win.  Sometimes you don't have the resources to play good and win.  Some teams have the resources, some don't, fact of life.

Truth of the matter is

Quote ... "ON ANY GIVEN DAY" ... Unquote.

The game was up for grabs, anyone coulda win that night.  Bahrain did what they had to do.  T&T wasn't good enough to force the win they needed.  Remember people ... Goals win matches ... no matter how badly a team plays ... once they score one more goal than the next team ... THEY WIN.

Some guys had bad games ... it happens.  But i think T&T players will lift their games and the team will prevail.

Thanks for the replies ... just one get mih doh ... i say we keep the guys who get us this far ... BSC wasn't one of them ... he started the campaign and had to be replaced ... that's why we at this point.  We only here because we get some decent points under B.
As for me putting in mah two cents ... i like to see good football and when the side playing shit i can't blindly support (1st game against DR and the last game against USA) ... them is the only two games i see and to me we wasn't ready.

Good Afternoon Everyone,
Much respect for all the hard work you have done on this site so far (to developer/moderator) and great reads from all those who post (real kicks).  I am a newcomer to posting, so don't all hate at the same time.

I have a couple things to comment on and hopefully i will get a few rational replys ...
1.  Change of uniform ... without having all the facts ... i think we should stay with the "Finta" uniform (some have echoed this sentiment).  If we wasn't good for ADI and them before then we shouldn't be good for them now.
2.  Them England boys who now would like to represent ... i think we should stick with the fellas who get we there ... (presuming we get over the last hurdle).
3.  David Nakhid ... leh we leave the man alone nah ... he is the one who go have to live with his decision wether we like or not.
