Hi Guys!!!! Long time... How is T&T doing this time around??

It might work out better.  John has not done much in the last 2 games. I think that Yorke should be given a bigger role up front.

I agree with you.  Shaka did a great job in the last 2 games.  Lets wait and see what happens.  I wasn't suggesting that Jack is better. I don't believe he is.

What did you'll think of the Saudi vs Tunisia game (Good, SHT, ect.)  I thought it was a great game with some good goals, but maybe its because they are my brethrens playing.

I've studied him.  Although he is a great goalkeeper, Hislop has one weakness which is lethal.

When shots are fired towards him from within or out of the area, to keep the ball out, he usually (many many times) punches the ball inwards towards the attacking players, giving them a chance of winning an attacking rebound.  This might be the reason Beenehaker wants to make such a change at such a time to mix up Paraguays cards.  I think he knows what he's doing.

Rooney is not in his form.  He will hurt England more than help.......  He needs to be kept out. It was a shame that Defoe was not chosen to be with the team.  England needs him more that Crouch in front!! Especially with Rooneys injury.

Football / Re: Now the haters saying our group is WEAK
« on: June 19, 2006, 05:47:35 AM »
The general performance of all teams at this years world cup is so far disappointing......   Take England, Brazil, France, Germany .....  None of them played good football.  The only team that played good so far was Argentina.

So if you say that the group T&T is in is weak, take a look at the other groups.

I'm your old friend formerly know as Bah Simply Better.

Congrats guys on the great performance yesterday.  It was nice to see a team of such a small nation competing head to head with one of the world's great football teams, and forcing a draw as sweet as a victory upon them.

T&T played with great spirit and determination.  Shaka was great, and number 13 was also very very good.  Where was Beenie hiding him??

I wish you guys all the best in your next game.  If England played the way they did yesterday and T&T played the way they played, T&T will have a surprise for the world under their sleeves.  Mark my words.  Nothing is impossible in Football and you guys have the spirit to do it.

Good Luck.:beermug: :beermug: :beermug:

Latapy is great and if put in a team with players of his calibre, you will see him as one of the top players in the world.  If he was in a team like Barcelona, he would shine very bright.

Do you have more info about this?  I would like to search for a source that would actually have this game on tape.  This would be a first for me :rotfl:

Football / Re: Allyuh take ah look at de man stripping Jack ah de ball
« on: November 23, 2005, 10:46:23 AM »
Jack was nervous during the game.  Even in the first half that high ball that came into the area and he jumped up to catch it and completely missed it.  If it wasn't for the defender who headed it out, he could have been blamed even for a goal there.  Is this his usaul form or was it only nerves in that game?

Anyway missed you guys.  I'll pop in every once in a while to say hello and join in.  Hope you don't mind ;)

I paid my dues truetrini towards T&T and showed my sportsmanship. That its self makes me a winner alongside the warriors :) :)

It will be coming out today I think, but I expect the FIFA to impose penalties on us fro what happened during and after the game.  I really doubt that anything dramatic will come out of it.  Don't let this bother you guys its not worth it.  Go celebrate with the warriors. ;)

« on: November 17, 2005, 05:50:32 PM »
They did go to FIFA, but the response will not be anything like what Bahrain will be hoping for.  Lets wait and see.  Response will come within a few hours.  If Maradona scored a goal with his hand and FIFA didnt do shit, our guys expect something with come out of this stupid appeal?  !!  This was nothing compared to that refs error.

Football / Re: Fifa answer after 12 hours
« on: November 17, 2005, 12:39:27 PM »
Bahrain had appeal for this goal that was in the refs view is a foul and the answer will be back in less then 12 hours of repeating the match or not

Dude just accept the fact.  This game will not get repeated.  It was a judgment error by the ref and not a techinical one.  Do you really think we deserve to draw in that game in any case?  As much as we wanted Bahrain to win, we at the same time wanted the better team to go.  You wouldnt want this team to go to Germany with the way they played on the 16th and embarras our asses!  We need the next 4 years to work to improve the team.  I think 4 years is what it will take to prepare Bahrain for the WC in S. Africa. Don't worry 4 years will past like passing wind.

I'm watching it live now on TV6. I subscribed especially for this and I'm not going to go to class. Dwight Yorke, Brent Sancho, Chris Birchall and Russell Latapy went back to their respective clubs.

PlEASE POST SOME PICS. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THE GREETINGS AND CELEBRATIONS

Hay Guys.... Congratulations on qualifying for the World Cup.  After this game I can say that the soca warriors truly deserved the victory and qualification.  Wish you well in Germany.... We will be watching ;)

TIME TO CHANGE YOUR NAME TO BAH SIMPLY SUCK!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Please don't go there... They sucked on the 16th for sure but they are capable guys and have a good future ahead of them. Now that you were introduced to Bahrain watch them from a distance in the years to come.  The world will see them in the WC sometime in the no to distant future. T&T in the past were where we were on the 16th and grew and achieved.  If you work hard you succeed and thats what T&T did.  That what life is all about.

You do cannot imagine how these playoffs created a bond between the 2 countries.  Imagine all of Bahrain will be watching your games at the WC.  Personally I will be cheering for T&T because half of that ticket you have was ours.  :D  Good luck guys and best wishes for the warriors.

u cannot take a ball away from a keeper if he has taken it into his arms. The only way da goal could have been legal is if our keeper miss kicked the ball to your striker or he fumbled it THEN it hit the ground first before the striker took it and put it in the net. Not only is it a rule but common sense too. Yuh kno hooooow maaaaany strikers would just stand up next to keepers all over the world waiting for them to let go the ball to kick so they could pouch it!?

Common i really had respect for u buh doh blame it on anyone we din do that when we got beaten by the USA in 89

KARMA

I did not blame our loss on that.  In fact to be be fair we should have lost by at least 3 goals in this game.  I cannot take the right away from T&T.  They earned it and deserved it.  Bahrain did not play well and that is a fact.

Speaking about the goal, it was taken out of the air after the goalie released it.  I've seen goals go in that way in the past in similar scenarios.  If the ball was kicked out of the goalies hands before he released it then I would agree with you that it was a foul.

Actually Someone scored on us the same way against our goalie, but I cannot remember which game it was.  Again I tell you I am not looking for excuses because there are not excuses.  T&T won fair and square.  As for the ref, I think he should be banned. He sucked just as bad as our players.

well i somewhat respect what ya sayin dey buh how? actually yea he was your right. I remember Birchall got a tackle in the first 10 minutes of the game... yea an ya kno hes one of our biggest players... yea an ya kno he got injured... yea... AN NOT A CARD OR EVEN A FOUL ISSUED so yea ref was not so great for us either but good god doh tell me u thought that goal bahrain scored was legal!?

Spoke to a few refs they said it was legal, but it would just be pure injustice if that goal was to take Bahrain into extra time.  They did not deserve it after such a poor performance.  I have'nt seen them like this since the 80's!!!!!!!

This goal will be a subject of contraversy but if correct the only thing FIFA could do is to punish the ref. for a judgmental error (if that is proven).  Keep following this up it would be interesting to see what FIFA would have to say about it. But don't let it stop you from celebrating bec no matter what the outcome, your qualification has been confirmed and well earned.

The fans and players have no class

iz goal in deh a!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The most important thing for you is that you got the result you wanted.  As for class, you cannot say that stupid actions from few of the fans mean that the fans all have no class.  Me and other Bahrainis got on the site soon after the game and congratulated you on your well desreved win.  Is that low class?

As for our players, even though they did not even desereve a tie in this game were rightfully frustrated at the ref.  He was certainly not up to the standard for such an important playoff game and he certainly proved it.

Congrats again and good luck in Germany

Your Bahraini friend.... BSB :beermug: :)

T&T played great football today and deserved the win with not doubts at all.  But apart from that the ref made many poor decisions including that goal which he disallowed.  The ball was out of the keepers hands.  It does not have to hit the ground before it has to be considered in play.

Even if it was allowed, Bahrain did not desreve to win this one.  Hats off to T&T and hope to see you glowing in Germany 2006 ;)
