I meet a lot ah white southeners here who say that when dey fly that flag dey surroprting dey southern history. I never see ah black person who from de south who fly dem flags too. If you want to know what dat flag meanings conotate read The Burning Cross, The invisible Empire, Black Like Me etc. Benjamin Beckord Forrest, founder of de KKK, who later renounced his affiliations with the KkK, close this Flag as an emblem to rep dey organization. If you want to know what that flag symbolises just go to rural Alabama and fly that flag as a black man.

I see Mighty England and their monarch has 2 men on Stern, How could Stern be de worst player. He had John Terry doing acrobatics like de Russian Gymnastics team. Landon Donovan- magazines Soccer America, Espn and FSN, rated him as a great young world class striker, who chose to stay in the US because de MlS is one of de best leagues in de world. Before de US first game everytime you saw de US team in Mags, Ads Joga Bonito ads etc. You see Donovan scoring ah goal.

I think that the rewards were a bit shy but it's more than I expected. I am so happy that someone finally stepped up and took inatitive for our athletes. In 97 when I left to go to college and run track in Baltimore, these incentives we just a dream. To get a good uniform and shoes were a great reward.
I was driving home and I stopped at the football field near my home. I saw all these rich parents (middle and upper) Paying all dis money to put their kids in football leagues and to go to camp etc. Reminded me ah my days when you stayed after school to play. The ony thing close to a coach was a PE teacher who eventually may have become a school coach for track or football.
It made me think of what the Warriors who are home grown, those who played in SSFL and dreamed impossible dreams. And now dey in de big screen.
they should recieve all that dey deserve and, thank you MR Manning for all you have done. With out playing with dem Warriors emotions, and giving dem a just reward. Plus panning for our future as a nation in Sport.

I personally feel dem refs is biased. Dem handing out yellow cards to black players like it is an award or something. Dem acting like White cops on de New Jersey turn pike. I thought that dey was cracking down on racism. How come we get all dem cards that yesterday and dem african players too.
Drogba get a card for infringement on Van der Sar today, I ask way de hell de ref expect him to go. We was running unto an uncoming keeper. I was really pissed that Shaka get dat card, how de hell he was wasting time, yuh do waste time early in de half. I still upset over avery card too, (cause he is meh boy too). How come none of de officials aint see Crouch white hand clutching Sancho black dreds on a red back ground??? Nuff said.

I have been a fan of de game for a long time. I personally think that de referees have a personal vendetta against us. I know that dey are cracking down on tackles and shirt tugging but give me a break. If yuh ah trini dey giving yuh a card quick, quick. Shaka's card was unmerited and so was a few others.

I know all over de world we have won fans, even here at BET and our affiliates of Viacom:- Fox Soccer Goal TV, Espn, Espn 2.
It's safe to say that before the world cup, only a few knew who we were or had a trini friend or knew someone who was a trinidad. On some of de featurettes about us. People was saying that trinidad and tobago so beautiful. They begun to understand why we always so happy and laid back. Trinidad supports de population of a 41's largest city in de us. We about de size of Delaware and from dese islands such heroes emerged, we have not gone down fighting. England may have beaten us but we have put in equal punches. I'm sure when Glen started running, a few of dem english man started to choke on their toads in de hole and started asking for extra pints.
We have a string of b league players and we have held de best of dem in Europe at bay. Big up TNT. Terry de best in England and arguably de man for England Captaincy has do do his best at Stern, how about Glen leaving Ferdinand in de dust. Hmmm....

Dat was a great game, Trinidad defence held 2 European teams for over for approx 179 mins, without dem scoring on us. Sorry to see Shaka beaten by a Gerrard beamer for the third time this year but we played like bosses. England had one stragety all day. get it to beckham or de cole's for crosses into de box. I am very proud to be a Warrior.

When ah come here to go to college, de dean of student life call meh in he office. He tell me it have ah loose gyul called mary jane (and me fresh of de boat did not know what it was). He tell me that a lot of fellas like this gyul and that once you have her sometimes it's hard to let go ah she. Well I thinking about all de mampies that I come across in de dorms. I wuh see why she have all dem fellas bazodee.
He say that we islanders especially attarcted to this gyul. Well I was thinking it have to be dem Jamacians, De dean also say we trinis. I was so confused because i could not figure out who she was and I was on academic and athletic schol, honours programme etc. Man I feel like a dunce. Then he tell me its Weed, de J, Marajuana. I say yuh mean Ganja.
I say look sir, I know you listen to dance hall and regae, and watch a lot of movies that may support your theory, but not all Islanders drink rum and smoke ganja.

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad (Reuters) - Trinidad and Tobago's 23 footballers and their Dutch coach, Leo Beenhakker, have each been promised a barrel of specially aged rum if they win Thursday's World Cup match against England.
Nigel Bissoon, marketing manager of the Angostura Group of Companies, the makers of Angostura Aromatic Bitters, said the players were already heroes in their Caribbean country after their 0-0 draw against Sweden last week.
"But they can elevate themselves to a god-like status amongst their fans if they get one over England," Bissoon said in a statement on Wednesday.
"We hope that the barrel bonus will act as an extra incentive for the players as there are few Trinidadians who would not jump at the opportunity to own a full barrel of such fine rum."
Each of the 24 barrels Angostura is offering as a prize holds 247 litres (64 gallons) of rum.
Angostura's chief executive, Lawrence Duprey, said the rum would come from a batch that had been earmarked for a special occasion.
Trinidad and Tobago is the smallest country to qualify for the soccer World Cup.
