for real...everyone will see the team perform...this won't be like games against Belize, St. Lucia and Guyana where the public didn't see the games and PR work was done by Shaun Fuentes, Mohammed, Latas etc. to give the impression that the team played well..

My Heart : Wants Trinidad to give a good performance today and hopefully get a result against our arch rivals.

My Mind : Latapy does not exemplify positivity in his comments, his selection and tactics are horribly wrong. We would be lucky to get a result.

We have to start to thinking big. Yes these are 'friendlies' but poor results affects our development on an overall level
- Our fifa ranking falls which would make it difficult to get work permits for our promising players
- Our attactiveness to have matches against stronger opponents

Nothing to prove???.....This seems like Latapy is backing out here and has his excuses ready for a less than positive outcome....On the other hand this could be tactical to reduce pressure on his players and setting up Jamaica for the kill....

With that said I think that the general public are not as naive as before and know the importance of good performances against teams of equal ability or better than us. Against Jamaica I don't think any true supporter of the Soca Warriors would expect nothing less than a win or good performance especially at home. So with that said I do think you have something to prove especially since the verdict is still out on your capabilities as coach.....
