Football / Re: John Bostock Thread
« on: April 15, 2017, 03:28:21 PM »
He is focusing on his club team at the moment. They are fighting for promotion into ligue 1. I am hoping he does come out for us after the season.

You have to show a certain desire and commitment. Me Mum and JL Samuel did.

Doh wait 'til all the hard work done and then say it is convenient for me now.

FAWK YOU!!!!

I agree with you 100%, but from my point of view I like to have that depth. If he doesn't want to play, he doesn't want to play simple as that, move on. As of this point he is still an option, though I for one am not "begging" for him to play. If he shows up when it's time to go to the world cup then he can go right back to where he came from wishing he could've gone with Scotland (they're hurting as well and could've used him)

From the time I saw the ref was Jamaican I felt uncomfortable. It does not mean that he certainly has some sort of prejudice. Just made me think twice. The call in the game against Mexico was f**king stupid. It was clearly onside. CLEARLY. I didn't even think for a second that he may have strayed. I knew from the start in real time exactly what I saw. At the very worst he was alongside. Terrible officiating. BAd enough to warrant suspicion.

The linesman wasn't even in position to make that call.

We have to keep possession and move up the field. Similar to how Mexico played against us. I'm hoping we get some to get accustomed to the altitude.

i thought K Jones was amazing...and thats all we keep asking for...run..work..and run some more...well played skipper

Mikel Williams was poor...i keep saying Joevin Jones should play left back for us...JUST like he does at Seattle...

K9 was the real deal tonight. Strong presence. Speed, strength and skill.
Agreed! He and Torres were like 2 gladiators battling in a heavyweight bout

True but KJ stronger than him. This is the KJ I know, and have been talking about in the past! Things happen when KJ starts hustling!

My deepest condolences. Rest in paradise weary :(

When it comes to football Iceland are very serious about it. Their facilities are top notch. I've seen it when I visited Reykjavik.

I like the image on the homepage version of the article. I don't remember seeing togetherness so in a long time.

That was a squad, I didn't even stay for the Mexico game afterwards. I was so pissed. But that was one hell of a gold cup!

I read on wired868 that azaad Khan had put Caesar down as injured, when he really wasn't. First time I'm hearing someone making an error on the roster card.

I will support these players. They're pawns on a chess board to this whole thing. I hope these players forget the TTFA and play their own game and find their own rhythm. It would be a sight to see shabazz and DJW getting frustrated on the sidelines. And if they threaten a blacklist that's ok because the minions won't be there forever.

Maybe they weren't released by their clubs? What's the status of bostock? The midfield is a concern for me.

Yea but Skipper playing for central fc...wheyy hyland, And boucaud? Aubrey david?

Aubrey David is there, but maybe the clubs didn't release them also the first thing I checked for was how many w connection players in the squad. Saintfeit didn't pick these guys djw and his minions did. Saintfeit is a puppet right now.

I listened attentively when I heard a technical director from a CFU member association ask someone from the JFF what was the point of paying Winnie Schaffer $50,000. The question came minutes after the JFF official lamented not having a facility of the quality of the questioner's federation. He thought it would be instrumental in player development (note, this is Jamaica the land of the imported and the naturalized player: a model that has endured to varying degree across all those WC cycles).
Iceland invested in facilities and development of coaches before throwing money at a coach and it turned out pretty well for them in the long run.

Exactly. I was there in April and stayed in a hotel across from the national stadium. Their facilities are top notch and well taken care of. On top of that their coach is a part time dentist. They needed those facilities with the brutal winters and 20 hours of darkness. It's real rough for them so there's really no excuse for T&T to get things right.

This is all getting depressing now. All the wheels have fallen off...I'll support these players 110%, but for these idiots in the TTFA, they can all burn in hell.

I would bring in Dennis Lawrence

TM, respectfully, if I were Dennis, I would continue to enjoy and grow in my role at Everton.  No way I was dealing with such a banana-like run organization

I'd still go with him. Being a developmental coach at an EPL club definitely sticks out more than anything.

It seems DJW is getting his way now, something I was afraid of.
