bossman..with respect to the last comment...

jus come on here and reading what was said....

is only when u in Naps and Pres that the hate for each school is what it is...when u leave and u move on with life...Pres and Naps men does be knocking bottles and smokin and limin like brothers....so i sure all dem fellas dem who deos be posting is one setta small men from Naps and Pres...

I met up with some naps and pres men a few days back...and we had a real good time talkin bout intercol and big 5...and how good ball both colleges playing....and to be honest...Pres is as of equal importance for naps as it is for the other....we were talking that if these 2 schools did not go at each other as it did...then we probably would have been minnows in de south in academics and sports...

so lemme be man enough and say it now...

THANK you pres for the good games...the good competition...the good times...the good jokes and all de BullSH*t that was Pres and Naps back in de days...and even up to now...its memories like those that made school and football in de park(yes Skinner park...some of dem small men ent even know bout football in de park or at Union Hall)....

And for all the thanks abovei..i sure it have some pres men who share de same sentiments....naps life without pres is like a cat having no mouse and vice versa....

i would do anything to go back to football in de park and de banging of de galvanise on de sheds...

over and out..best luck to both teams in intercol...

as long as the trophy stay in south i happy....

Naps man fuh life!!!!!!!!!!

fellas i ent to sure how this thing will work rite...but if we and sweeden end up on the same points and de same goal difference....it will probably come down to who beat paraguay by the bigger goal difference...Sweden beat paraguay 1-0, so if we beat paraguay by a bigger goal difference we will go ahead of sweden

Does that make sense?????

I hope soo...so that means we must rest it on paraguay reallll good..and hope england can help us on this memorable journey!!!!!

GO WARRIORS>>>>we still in

Football / adidas unveils Official Ball....a wicked design!!!!!!
« on: December 09, 2005, 05:50:21 PM »
The adidas +Teamgeist™ is the name chosen for the Official Ball of the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany™. Unveiled to a worldwide audience at the Final Draw in Leipzig on Friday, the adidas +Teamgeist™ marks another new milestone in ball technology for the Herzogenaurach-based company, supplier of the official FIFA World Cup™ match ball since 1970.
adidas CEO Herbert Hainer discusses the new ball

The new ball is a triumph of the designer's craft and will delight players with its revolutionary technology. It is formed from a totally new configuration of 14 panels, providing a smooth, perfectly spherical exterior and delivering significant improvements in terms of precision and control.

The stars at Real Madrid have already come to know and appreciate this extreme precision in a spell of intensive testing. "Just using it in training, all the players at Real Madrid have been impressed," says midfielder David Beckham. The England captain is hugely impressed with the ball's flight and direction. "With the ball's movement, it doesn't go off everywhere, it goes where you want it to go and that's important. Your passing, controlling and shooting of the ball - it's in one direction and that's what you need."

The ball has a classic colour scheme. The black and white reflect host nation Germany's traditional strip, while the gold stripes were inspired by the glittering hue of the FIFA World Cup Trophy. "You have the old-style colours which remind us a bit about football's history but also the modern technology, so you have a blend of the future and the past," says Brazil midfielder Kaka. He and his team-mates at AC Milan are as convinced of the ball's qualities as their counterparts at Madrid following similar tests.

The name focuses on football as a pure sporting activity. The German word Teamgeist – team spirit in English – homes in on the single indispensable attribute a side must possess if they are to stand any chance of hoisting the golden trophy. "The ball's name is a brilliant idea, especially for a World Cup tournament," Kaka adds. "During the World Cup, players are together for 50-60 days and team spirit is very important. You cannot achieve anything on your own."

The ball had to pass a series of stringent laboratory tests before being unveiled to the world. Happily, it not only met the range of criteria stipulated by FIFA's rigorous test procedures, it surpassed them. Only balls which meet these demanding standards are permitted to bear a FIFA Approved stamp. One player who particularly appreciates the new ball's precision is France playmaker Zinedine Zidane. "When you kick it, it goes in the right direction which sounds obvious but is really important," the French star says.

The revolutionary technology allows players to deploy the full range of their abilities, as the qualities and attributes of the ball remain absolutely identical with every shot. Only a perfectly spherical ball with a smooth surface offers consistent and reliable movement through the air on shooting. Loved by goalscorers, feared by goalkeepers, the new adidas +Teamgeist™ offers a guarantee of goals and excitement at the forthcoming FIFA World Cup.

seems like beckham already in love wit it..watch out for some serious free kick!!!!and rooney piledrivers!!!

jus read this on soccernet there!!!..

Beckham happy to face old pal Yorke

England captain David Beckham admitted he is relishing the chance to face his former Manchester United colleague Dwight Yorke after being drawn with Trinidad and Tobago at next summer's World Cup.

At the draw in Leipzig, England were drawn with the Caribbean side, Eriksson's native Sweden and South American qualifiers Paraguay.

And Real Madrid midfielder Beckham revealed it will be a nostalgic affair to face Yorke, who will be in Germany after the Caribbean nation qualified for their first World Cup.

He told www.thefa.com: 'Watching the World Cup draw today has already excited me as I think about the tournament ahead. We meet a familiar opponent in Sweden - one that both the players and manager know well.

'I am looking forward to playing my old team-mate Dwight Yorke with Trinidad and Tobago. He is someone who I share many great memories with.

'Paraguay are a bit of an unknown quantity, but we will be prepared fully when we meet them. To use an old football cliche there are no easy games. We have to go out and prove we are one of the favourites.

'If we work hard and play to our potential we have a genuine chance of winning the World Cup.'
