Dis asshole talk eh even worth ah response really nah.

Dwight get he pong, Stern get he pong, who is KJ to get exempt from licks?

I not refferin to dat breds.  Bigger names dan all yuh mentioned does take heat.  And bigger than him have missed even easier opportunities or pushed a ball a little too far on what would be considered immaculate pitches, so by all means pong away.  What struck me as rell shit was "the missing may continue for some time unless he is put in midfield"  Why on earth should KJ be played in midfield?  If dat eh de height ah assholishness den me eh kno what is nah.

You saying so now. If B'dos had come back and win 3-2, it would have been a different story. In the last Hex we screwed up against El Sal. We should have beaten them in their own stadium. We missed goals including the sky-high penalty. We were lucky to come out with a draw. KJ eh no rookie. I will only make excuse for him because the ttff messed up with the prep. I hope he ready for GT. Me eh want to hear excuses for future games. This is real. No experiment excuse, I just come down from the cold excuse, we still gelling, etc....

I take it yuh quote me by accident right?

Not a defensive powerhouse but a team that don't want to embarass their country putting players behind the ball in the defensive third. For teams that are not well established and looking to build for the future not getting trashed is a good way to start.

If you were from Bermuda, you would understand this a little better.

pardner..if you wasn't paying attention stay out of the conversation.

This man said that Bermuda capable of stopping any of the top 4 in Concacaf from scoring. I pointed out that they have kept 4 clean sheets in 40 games and ten years, the best of which is actually Barbados, and since then he have nothing to say.

He was also dead sure that guyana wouldn't beat Bermuda. Not only did they beat them, but they put more goals past them as well.

I know one thing for sure - who I NOT getting MY champions league analysis from.

Positivity is always welcome, but delusion ent make no sense unless you getting pay by the TTFF...

Yeah kicker, clinicism is not a word. Every so often the french radio station does cut in...that has very little to do with your argument though, right? ::)

I normally respect your opinion, but here we go agree to disagree.

By most teams, I talking about the majority of those that matter (we like to think we belong in that category), not the american samoas of this world. For every goal you see, a team does have three four shots - one might go overbars, one to the side and the keeper might save the third, the fourth might go in. I not talking about shots on target, i talking about shots. Is only certain players like Torres could get one shot off all match and score in the Euro final, and he not going to be the only man shooting..

I never call for no 6 or 8 goals, but the point is Barbados didn't belong on the field with us.
I would go so far as to say that Bermuda put up a better showing than them (posts notwithstanding) just based on those highlights, the commentary, the fact we didn't have no game under we belt at the time and what i see of the bermudans. When a team doh belong on the field with you a three goal margin is what you should be aiming for.

Fair enough the field was awful, but the side was good for 2 more goals. KJ is a premier league and europa league striker. One on one with the keeper. And that is what he do?

Really? Really? Really?

De TTFF have alyuh so starved a football for so long alyuh men go take white rice put on shades and bawl de pelau tasting good. The cult of celebration/elevation of mediocrity is what have this country where it is right now.

I not saying don't support the guys or congratulate them, but if I can't point out what needs improving on the basis of mitigating circumstances I might as well stop watching the bloody football until the fellas get fine tuned.

And then alyuh would call me a waggonist. ::)

Ok cool.  when it comes to goals, the more the merrier - no one will disagree. And yes it looks like we squandered some chances.  Hopefully we get it right in the next couple of games.  Given what our football has been through in the last 6-9 months, as long as we keep winning and improving at this stage, I will personally keep the complaints to a miniumum,  because a little over a month ago I was doubtful over whether or not we would even put a side out on the field (ok ah being a little dramatic but yuh get my point)... I honestly kinda view these matches against Bermuda, Barbados and Guyana as practice matches (except that we have to win them)...remember we hadn't played any proper practice matches eh?.... so I eh settling for mediocrity but I will take the step by step progress in stride... but that's just me.

well i cool with that. Ah will take that anyday than somebody who trying to persuade me that any of these teams we face is a side.

Interesting thing is Señor Maturana was also an honest broker impeded by language and a lack of receptivity to his message.
Yes but while Pacho had a "language impediment" (and it was more of an impediment than Pfister's), the lack of receptivity towards his message was held by him alone.  Pfister's message for some reason "resonates"

Perhaps it speaks to asylumseeker's fazeer quote of the "institutional capital to act unfettered" by beenie and otto as opposed to not just local coaches as proven by Pacho.  Even Porters was afforded more respect than other local coaches and Pacho.  I wonder why?

BTW...I too find myself nodding to Pfister's message

alright so the players throw way sitters... KJ throw way...

what yuh want we do? Bring back hardest? Hard luck, we go come again. The journey now start.

If we had played in the gold cup and had been playing a full slate of friendlies under Pfister i might have been upset... now i satisified with 3 points and clean sheets

I never ask anybody to do anything. Socapro neither for that matter.

I'm with socapro. we shoulda hang that side...goal difference is never to be underestimated...

Second match in a sequence is when you getting into gear after a long period not playing together. In october man team in playoffs and relegation battle and all kinda thing.

Most teams of any quality only convert 1/4 of their chances against a clearly inferior opponent. To beat them 3-0 you create 10 to 12 chances of which maybe half on target, or you have to be extra clinical. You can't teach clinicism, you either have it or you don't. If you don't have it, you need to work on getting into position, both individually and collectively

Allyuh living in a dreamland and watching too much top tier football on TV.

It's T&T vs Barbados we talkin' about...

What do you mean by MOST teams?  Where you get that 25% stat from...

Clinicism?  Yuh making up words now?

I really doh understand how allyuh expect a team of average players at the beginning of the competitive season, who just got called to a very short camp after a long-term hiatus tuh just "hang" the opposition jusso jusso... Men callin' fuh 6 and 8 goals...You serious?  Yeah, unlike YOU, dem fellas never heard of the concept of goal differnce and wasn't really trying tuh score....steups...  Allyuh really have no idea jed.

yeah but consider de circumstances nah... steups

everybody understand goal difference and de schedule... as it is we have 2 home game remaining... Guyana have 1....

and allyuh really fraid Guyana... especially considering we playing dem last when we have some games under we belt.... steups again

De only big side in the world that doh usually hang de teams that not in they league and still do well in the last ten years or so is Italy. Check out Germany, Holland, Spain, Portugal etc results against the minnows in qualifying in the last 4 tourneys or so. You could contrast that with England, France (since Zidane and co gone), Brazil since Scolari left... maybe Argentina.

Is not about fraiding Guyana. Is about installing a winning mentality...and not just a winning mentality but a winner's mentality. You doh half ass it on the field. When you get a side who have obvious failings you need to punish them. That is how you build confidence. And not only that, but that is how you damage the confidence of your opponent before he even step out on the field.

76
This is the schedule I saw from FIFA.com, home team first

07 Oct 2011      BER   -   TRI
11 Oct 2011      TRI   -   BRB
11 Nov 2011      GUY   -   TRI
15 Nov 2011      TRI   -   GUY

this is a sh!t schedule,we playing in a round robin and we play 2 of the 3 teams twice before we meet the other team.So we would of played 4 out of a total of 6 games before we face the other team for the first time

No need to fuss, this is how champions league runs their group stage format. The 3rd and 4th fixture are usually back to back the return of the 1st fixture is 5th and 2nd is 6th.

Come on G, you outline the CL format, look at our schedule and bawl is the same?
In our group, the return of the 1st tie is 3rd, the return of the 2nd tie is 4th, and the return of the 5th tie is 6th.
Our group format is retarded.  We should play each team once, then start the return ties.
What is the purpose, to have the 2 strongest teams playing each other on the last 2 gamedays?

The disadvantage of this format is that if the two strongest teams are on equal or maximum points for winning all their previous games then goal difference will become crucial if both teams are equally matched and each win their home games against each other by a similar margin!

Let’s hope it doesn't come to that if we don't manage to score more goals than Guyana does against our other opponents in the group before we meet Guyana in the final two games home & away!

Check link for curent Group B table standings: http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/preliminaries/nccamerica/standings/index.html

Formula retarded...
Only in Concacaf. Maybe they wanted to make it feel like a home and away must win playoff but i could see a team leading on goal difference before the end playing for 2 draws nice and easy, especially if they have the second game home...

Palos your 1992 team is the same 1989 strike squad except for Clint Marcelle! That was a better team than the 2006 , much more cohesive and dynamic! Players could fill 2 or three different roles and do it effectively! Of course Latpy and Yorke were the 2 surviving members who fought the fight to get the fourth place opportunity! The strike squad placed third ! If there were 3 places they would have made it!

The strike squad also did not have to contend with Mexico...

im not confident with tt performane at home i think we are letting Otho off a ill two easy yes everybody will have they lil 2 cent on changes and tactics he could off made but aside from that im just saying for a side playn at home we did not look very solid and lack alot in areas and it appears instead off asking question and putting a lil pressure on otto to get his act together faster, we instead are nurturing his failure with our own excuse yes its only two games incharge but still we all know we r capable of playing way better than wat we have seen anyway i hope he gets it right for barbados though
If you think bermuda is ah push over team then you're sadly mistaken buddy! i was of the same opinion until i saw them play. this team is capable of stopping any of the big four teams in concacaf from scoring on them, that's bc they run hard, they have loads of skill and they are a cohesive unit, don't you see most of these guys have been playing together for @ least four yrs?

That would explain why they have kept exactly 5 clean sheets in their last 40 games against such offensive powerhouses of Concacaf as Montserrat (2x!), Nicaragua, US Virgin Islands and Barbados...

Sometimes I does really wonder if people realise how hard it is to qualify for a World Cup when you're not an established football nation...

Is not that we are not an established football nation. We playing WC since 66.

you being pedantic, not to mention that we playing FOOTBALL long before that...
India qualified for a World Cup in the 30s. That don't make them an established  football nation:

These are what I mean by established football nations:
Brazil, Argentina, England, Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands,  Spain, Mexico
These is the teams you get shocked to not see in a world cup, especially one with 32 countries.

For historical reasons you could put Portugal, Uruguay, Russia, Czech Republic, Serbia, Hungary, Greece, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, Scotland, Poland, Austria, Chile, South Korea  although they are all hit and miss these days
To a certain extent you could put Cameroon, Nigeria, USA, Paraguay, Egypt, Japan as emerging nations but none of anybody who not on the first list could think they guaranteed to qualify for a World Cup, let alone two little islands that barely have 2 million people to choose from.

Since 66 we playing WC football. This years prep for Bermuda look more like South Sudan preparing for African CL. Them is first comers. We been thru dat. We play in a WC already. We have the experience. Leave that kind a prep for countries who don't have resources and technical skill. We have all a that.

Ah sarcasm...my bad. I now get it.
