On another note. There's no way any grown man should be calling another grown man "Sweetie". F&$king retards.
Where all yuh illiterate jack arses does come out from boy.
If you don't know what sweetie paper is yuh is ah backside. And clearly not a Trinbagonian.

32
Would have preferred to see two independent VPs in there though.
Joann Salazar, Colin Murray and John Sabga would have been great as the 3 VPs.
DJW and his 3 VPS. Hmm. Slippery slope. I wish them all the best though and really hope they are all embracing in their approach.
Certainly interesting time ahead.
Good Luck Presi.

33
The VPs are Ewing Davis, Joanne Salazar  and Colin Murray.
Sorry Warner from Tobago. Not Colin Clean sweep by the DJW camp,

34
The VPs are Ewing Davis, Joanne Salazar  and Colin Murray.

35
DJW is the new TTFA president. He won the second round 25 votes to RTK 19.
In the first rounds it went  DJW-18, RTK-13, CT-8,  RR-3, SB-3

36
Although I've clearly indicated my support for one of the candidates. As others have indicated, regardless of what happens tomorrow, Trinidad and Tobago football would have been better for it. We have a new constitution (that still needs quite a bit of work. But is a great start). For the first time we're  actually having an elections for the President. We have 5 candidates who all have their strengths and weaknesses. They all genuinely share the same vision for Trinidad and Tobago football. But some differences in their approaches. But they like us, want the best for Trinidad and Tobago football. Even the potential VPs are an impressive bunch of professionals that have a passion for football.
I can tell you one thing. The level of professionalism we brought to our campaign forced the other candidates to scamper and up their game. They were going with their hands swinging to meet the delegates, but when they heard that we had a printed manifesto and a proper well organised powerpoint presentation of our vision and plans. They all went and develop plans (plagiarized most of ours but no scene). So at least they all know that a new level of professionalism and competency is required to run football. Even the incumbent who sat on his high throne has come down and started to make the rounds visiting associations. Some of the associations indicated that he had never done this in all his decades of being involved in  football.
So although I'm quite confident of our victory tomorrow, despite the result, football has already started to benefit. It's up to the winner to use this start and run hard.

37
So we've wrapped up the campaigning. So I could take some attacks from the site now. All yuh hit me with you'll questions/concerns.

38
SP (Sweetie Paper), yuh still dey?
I was looking out for your candidate (if you're still with him) to address the big 18000 pound elephant in the room. Not a whimper. Very very strange.

Imagine trying to reform FIFA and not discussing Sepp Blatter, and the web of connections to Platini, Beckenbaur, Havelange, Renraw, his US buddy Chuck "Chucky" Blazer, Concacaf's Jeff Webb and the list goes on.

So imagine trying to reform TTFA & not discussing Scampito, Rodent and the container-loads of missing funds that were supposed to go towards T&T football development. So business as usual and just, as said in campaign, "reboot" the computer that you just turned off after it froze? Amazing.

Thought we would be hearing about a complete virus scan, change of operating system, loading new software, completely new antivirus & firewall, possibly even new computers. Nothing less. The silence is deafening, and we fans, supposedly priding ourselves in vigilance after having been burned, should be ashamed.
Wow! Hit me with a reply when yuh get a chance, as I could have misunderstood or missed something.
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Dreamer yuh have meh weak yes.
Truth be told. Been peeping at the site now and then, But this campaigning have me real busy. I proper bun. Didnt know this would have taken so much of my time. This thing worst than a General Elections. And I always knew about the Football politics. But them people in and around football in this country different dread.

Great Job. This is the type of off-the-field vibes we need. That is T&T football. When we win Sunday will definitely put in a word for a role for you'll.  ;D

40

Ramdhan, Taylor, Tim Kee and Browne all broke, without money, ideas is just as good as promises.

:rotfl: :rotfl: Breds Tim Kee driving a 500 benz and Ramdhan a BMWx6. That ain't sound like broke to me.

41
Watch out for real character assassination over the next 10 days.

Unlikely that anything will happen 10 days from now.  Elections will be postponed and FIFA will likely invoke Article 17 and step in.
Really can't see the justification for such. But Win, Lose or Draw, I would hate for that to happen. That would really be the end of T&T football

42
SP, dah vettin' question eh songin' thorough dread.
SP: Ram, yuh know I eh tolerating no Jackula business eh, look me in de eye & tell me, do you have any connection at all to Renraw?
RR: Absolutely not!!!! Hardly ever heard of the guy.

SP, gimme a break. Daiz how he convinced you? An you fall hook line and sinker? Or gorm. Dig a li'l deeper nah. Ask him how much time he has spent talking to the real participants, footballars in this sector and not just the powerful. Ask him these simple off the cuff question and come back with a reply please.

1. Did he ever speak out publicly about Jackula's, Scampito's and Rodent's transgressions. Please direct us to the newspaper article or socawarriors.net article. What committees if any did Renraw or Scampito have him on? What year was it that Renraw voted or requested him to be a FIFA referee for the World Cup?
2. Should we pursue the trail of lost money and have some kind of commission of enquiry or should we, as Uncle Tim wishes, just bury the Renraw syndicate crimes and jess forget about the syndicate associates and let it rest with the cancer still festering?
3. Rate Renraw's, Scampito's, Uncle Tim's and Rodent's performances over the years on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the best.
4. Did RR support Nakhid's candidacy. In what way? How vigorously? If not, why not?
5. Why is he more audible now that Renraw is out if the way. Is that just accidental? He claims to be an outspoken man but was seemingly relatively silent until recently. Why?
Leh we give this a try. Respect.

Very Good points. Like you was peeping when I drilled him. lol. Trust me I drilled him properly. Actually we doing an interview with SWO. so maybe most of those would be asked.

43
There is a rumor out there that Jack is financing one ofTimKee's challengers hence the Sunshine article and the TTFA Exec signed letter. Any ideas which candidate it might be???
I can tell you who it's absolutely not. As Ramesh Ramdhan's campaign manager. I can emphatically state that Jack has absolutely nothing to do with his campaign. When Ramesh shared his plans with me and asked me to assist. My #1 condition was that if he had any dealings with Jack I want no part of it. But one of the other candidates (we know who it is) is spreading a Ramesh/Jack rumour. People realising that we have a good chance, so the gutter politics start. Men getting desperate. Watch out for real character assassination over the next 10 days.

Football / Re: Thread for the T&T vs USA Game (17-Nov-2015)
« on: November 17, 2015, 09:26:52 PM »
This is the best I've seen a T&T team play against a US team. And while we should have won, I'll take 4 points from a home and away game against the two top teams in our group. Hart is really doing a great job. As a home crowd we still don't know how to be the 12th man. Geez.  There was a lil USA posse by me that was making more noise than the whole stadium. Just don't know how to get the crowd to give us more.
But today was particularly bad and I think poor organisation had to do with it. The crowd was genuinely drained by the time they got in. What horrible gate arrangements. Trying to fit 20,000 people through 7 or 8 lanes is madness. I spent 45mins in a jam-packed crowd for about 100-150 metres. As a shortman, that was pressure. Women, children and the elderly were suffering.
And when you finally reach the security check point. No one checked that you had a ticket. I walked in with a bag that wasn't even checked. That was enough to kill anyone's vibe.
And then what kind of shite PA was that. Only covering half the ground and the little entertainment was only in front a small group. This was really horrible. Thank God that there were no incidents.
Okay now that I've vented on the organisation. On the field I'm proud of my boys.
4 points in the bag.

Football / Re: 2016 CONCACAF Women’s Olympic Qualifying Championship
« on: November 15, 2015, 08:45:43 PM »
http://wired868.com/2015/11/15/maylee-kennya-refuse-to-join-women-warriors-under-current-manager/

Former Trinidad and Tobago National Women’s Senior Team captain Maylee Attin-Johnson and star attacker Kennya “Yaya” Cordner are refusing to represent their country, as the “Women Soca Warriors” remain divided since coming to international prominence during their Canada 2015 World Cup qualifying campaign.

Cordner, who was a 2014 CONCACAF Player of the Year nominee, and Attin-Johnson have refused to play under current team manager, Sharon O’Brien, while former teammates Dernelle Mascall and previous vice-captain Ayanna Russell also allegedly opted out of the current Rio 2016 Olympic qualifying series.

And the disillusioned Women Warriors have company in former head coach Randy Waldrum, who also chose to remain in Dallas due to his concern about numerous administrative issues surrounding the programme and a lack of job security.

Cordner and Attin-Johnson, who were injured at the July Toronto 2015 Pan American Games are angry at their subsequent treatment from the TTFA and, in particular, O’Brien.

Cordner flew to Canada to seek medical treatment after being injured on international duty. And the former three-time Trinidad and Tobago Player of the Year was told she had to pay for her own trip home to play in the Olympic qualifiers, even though plane tickets were dispatched to other W/Warriors who were based in North America.

“Yaya paid for herself to go Canada to have her injuries taken care of,” said Waldrum, “and Sharon (O’Brien) said because she flew there on her own dime, she has to fly back on her dime.

“But she only went there because the (TTFA) wasn’t taking care of her in the first place…”

Cordner suffered a grade two MCL strain on her left knee after she collided with the opposing goalkeeper while scoring Trinidad and Tobago’s equaliser against Colombia on July 14. Her goal meant the Women Warriors retained a chance of qualifying for the semifinal round.

So, despite the injury, Cordner played in T&T’s final fixture, which ended in a 3-1 loss to Mexico. She then paid her own way to return to Canada for treatment at the LJR Physiotherapy Services.

Her ticket was subsequently reimbursed by the Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee (TTOC).

“I didn’t really look to the TTFA for help because of the TTFA’s financial situation and I could not risk waiting and not knowing when my treatment would start,” Cordner told Wired868. “I took the opportunity because I wanted a speedy recovery in order to rejoin the team for the Olympic Games.

“By doing this, I also assisted the TTFA by taking away that financial burden.”

Cordner was flabbergasted when Waldrum informed her that the TTFA would not pay for her return to join the squad.

"I think it is very unprofessional that the TTFA would state that I’m responsible for paying my way to represent my country,” said the W/Warriors star, who is finishing her therapy in Seattle. “I’m cleared to play (by doctors here) so it’s disappointing that I won’t be representing my country in this upcoming tournament.

“I feel as though the current manager is being very vindictive towards me because there are five other players (based in North America) they (bought) tickets for.

“I do wish the team nothing but the best but I can’t subscribe to the current management they have in place.”

Former national captain, Attin-Johnson, slammed the TTFA’s stance on the outspoken Cordner as unforgivable.

“How in heaven’s name can a manager of the national team say Kennya has to pay her own way?” asked Attin-Johnson. “Is she representing us or St Lucia? For me, it shows it is a personal vendetta against Yaya because they brought in Lauryn (Hutchinson) and (Victoria) Swift but not her.

“Kennya is the one player who would play with a broken foot for Trinidad and Tobago. How can I accept that (treatment of her) as captain?

“And it is not just because she is my friend. I could never accept that for anyone.”

O’Brien did not deny asking Cordner to pay for her own airfare back to Trinidad. However, the W/Warriors manager suggested that the problem was partly down to miscommunication.

She did not elaborate.

“Kennya is an issue that we are trying to sort out,” O’Brien told Wired868. “I prefer to keep that private and we will deal with that behind closed doors.

“I feel communication was bad in Kennya’s case, so I am trying to see if I can rectify that situation.”

For now, Attin-Johnson is inconsolable. The gifted playmaker, who said she has recovered from injury at the Pan Am Games, said she will not wear national colours once O’Brien is team manager.

She explained too that she knows her request will not be an easy one for Tim Kee to fulfil—even if he wanted to—as O’Brien is the president of WOLF (Women’s League Football), which has two votes at the upcoming TTFA elections.

“For her to be a manager of a national team is unacceptable and I won’t sacrifice my body for people like that,” said Attin-Johnson, who claimed that many current players are also frustrated. “If I am not going to put my heart and soul into something, it is better I remove myself from it…

“The most difficult thing for me is knowing you worked your ass off to give a certain brand and identity to the women’s program, just to see it destroyed by one selfish individual…

“We are in 2015 and I am not going to take five or 10 goals from America again. And I am not going to make a fool of myself for a trip to Hawaii (for the Olympic qualifying series).

“I am very proud of my contribution to the women’s national team and, by extension, Trinidad and Tobago. But not even God can tell me play for Sharon O’Brien.”

O’Brien responded that she thought Attin-Johnson was still injured. She declined comment on the former national captain’s stance.

“Maylee, as far as I understand, is still injured (because) she has never indicated to me that she is fit and ready to come back to train,” said O’Brien, who claimed she never had a falling out with Attin-Johnson or Cordner. “That is Maylee’s choice (not to play). Maylee and them have their own agenda.”

The Women Warriors whipped St Lucia 6-0 on Friday and 8-1 tonight to breeze into the Caribbean semifinal round and a match-up with Jamaica on Wednesday at the Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva.

The top three nations from Jamaica, Guyana, Puerto Rico and T&T will advance to next February’s CONCACAF Olympic qualifying rounds in Hawaii. Only two CONCACAF teams will progress to the Rio Olympics.

O’Brien said the W/Warriors squad, which includes Arin King, Ahkeela Mollon, Tasha St Louis, Lauryn Hutchinson and Janine Francois, will be further strengthened on Tuesday with the return of Karyn and Kimika Forbes and Khadidra Debesette, just 24 hours before the Caribbean semifinals.

“I personally believe that, after months with no training, the girls are beginning to gel again now that they are in camp,” said O’Brien, “and I expect them to do well as per usual.”

Editor’s note: Wired868 will publish a report on Randy Waldrum’s own strained position with the “Women Soca Warriors” shortly.

I think you have to give Hart the credit he deserves. He has taken a broken down, fixer upper of a team and transformed them into a fighting  unit. Especially considering the mess of an organisation the TTFA is, he's had a lot of obstacles to overcome. Hopefully , the warriors can get the proper financial, administrative and fan support they need to make the push for Russia. And let's not forget our female warriors either.

I agree the timing of the article really off. (Not just before two big games). But it's sad what our players have had to go through over the years and still going through.

wait wait! you're a campaign manager and you think the timing is off. What better time for both the player/s and the author of the article to get some press. Football is the talk of the town, so no better time to piggy back on the wave.
Lol. Yes I do think the timing is off. Campaign Manager Yes. But T&T supporter to the core first. While it may seem crafty to leverage the current publicity. No one should be distracting the team with off-the-field issues at this time. In fact this is also a horrible time for the elections. This (elections) should have been done before the world cup campaign even started. Over the years we've seen repeatedly where we lose games because of non-footballing matters. Our players are just not that tough mentally.  I was privileged to be part of the recent research into governance of sporting bodies in the Caribbean. And one of the things that the Head Researcher from England mentioned stuck with me. She said in the Caribbean "Your athletes are superior physically and physiologically, but lack the psychological support."

This is a issue we should asked the candidates about. What are their plans to give each national squad EQUAL attention. The MNT getting full attention now because of 2018 WC. The women has an opportunity to go to Rio and is like, whatever ....... Whoever intends to run TTFA should stipulate who they intend to support the 8 women and men national teams for regional and world football.
These competitions didn't just sneak up. These dates would have been known long time. Again lack of planning and coordination by the administrators. There shouldn't be a situation where you have to sacrifice one for the other. Geez. All our national teams should be given the requisite support. SMH. November 29th soon come.

Ramesh Ramdhan says it’s time to re-boot the TTFA.
Ramdhan Press Release.

Former international referee Ramesh Ramdhan today officially launched his campaign as he bids to become the next president of the Trinidad & Tobago Football Association (TTFA).

At a gathering of sports media, zonal representatives, representatives of TTFA and supporters at the Trotters Sports Bar and Restaurant in Port of Spain, Ramdhan presented his vision and 4-year plan to recapture the heights of Trinidad and Tobago football reflective of our legendary qualification at the 2006 World Cup.

Central to Ramdhan’s 10-point plan is re-engaging corporate T&T and the implementation of a good governance structure. Ramdhan says he wants to ensure consistent qualification of T&T teams at the World Cup and the commoditization of sport through sport tourism.

Ramdhan described the current state of national football today as “lacking proper plans and processes and plagued by weak financial systems.” He said, “It is my commitment to re-boot the TTFA through strong leadership and clear direction to rebuild the TTFA’s image and reputation both at home and abroad.”

Ramdhan stressed that his vision is one of inclusivity. He said, ‘There will be no unilateral decisions under his leadership as success can only come through participation by all stakeholders.”

Lending his support to Ramdhan’s bid is businessman and owner of Trotters, John Sabga who is seeking election to the position of 1st Vice President alongside Ramdhan. Sabga has been involved in football for over 18 years having served as both referee and coach to the American Youth Soccer Organisation (AYSO) and as sponsor and manager locally.

In his address to attendees, Sabga said, “What football needs is someone with true passion for the game, a love of country and a vision to resuscitate the sport… I know that we can return the glory to the sport and Ramesh is the man to do it.”

Ramdhan pointed out that Trinidad and Tobago is in the midst of World Cup preparations and has promised to utilise all available resources to support national coach Stephen Hart, as the national football vies for a place at World Cup 2018.”

Ramesh Ramdhan is the first Caribbean national to ever have officiated in a World Cup final. He has over 30 years of experience in local, regional and international football and is the recipient of the Trinidad and Tobago Hummingbird Silver Award for contribution to sport.
