Hear nah Keys presentation at the AMA'S last night was the best ting on the show not only was she looking sexy as hell, she was belting out her new single No one and break into a reggae riddim, next ting yuh no meh girl bring out Junior Reid who sang ONE BLOOD, ah say whatt, but she did not finish there next CHAKA DEMUS AND PLIERS WITH MURDER SHE WROTE, well by now I fly off the chair and grooving, well then she cap it off  with the BIG BEEENIE MAN AND WHO AM I  ohhhhh gaaad dem white people in the crowd was confused but rihanna was feeling it boy  she was grooving

I never expected her to bring it like that, the icing on the cake would have been BUJU or SHABBA, but hats off to the ALICIA  for bringing it!

For those who have not already been playing this is another cool game on the EPL website. I had a great week. I started late in gameweek 7 so there are some high rollers as you could well imagine.

2. Now, while doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with your right hand.
your foot will change direction.

I was too young to remember when Brazil came to play Trini in the 70's or even the Haiti TNT debacle, but my dad talked about it all the time. My earliest recollection was the under 17 tournament that Latas, Marcelle, Rocke, Faustin were in. That would have been mid 80's

Section 6. Corruption
Article 62 [only]
1. Anyone who offers, promises or grants an unjustified advantage to
a body of FIFA, a match official, a player or an offi cial on behalf of
himself or a third party in an attempt to incite it or him to violate the
regulations of FIFA will be sanctioned:
a) with a fi ne of at least CHF 10,000,
b) with a ban on taking part in any football-related activity, and
c) with a ban on entering any stadium.
2. Passive corruption (soliciting, being promised or accepting an unjustifi
ed advantage) will be sanctioned in the same manner.
3. In serious cases and in the case of repetition, sanction 1b) may be
pronounced for life.
4. In any case, the body will order the confiscation of the assets involved
in committing the infringement. These assets will be used for football
development programmes.

After taking a read of this one would think that Jack Warner and his Simpauls Travels assets should have been seized and as a compromise to the players it should be distributed to cover the promised bonuses.

It is an interesting read indeed. I think in this age of globalisation, we are all better educated with the information that is there for us, as opposed to the scandal of Nov 19th 1989 USA game.

Steele, known in the calypso world as Lady Gypsy, is the mother of former road march winner Faye-Ann Lyons-Alvarez and sister of calypsonian and UNC politician Winston "Gypsy" Peters.

She was one of about 15 people who sat for hours on benches or took to lying on the floor in the hope of being placed on a bed at an overcrowded Ward 10D of the San Fernando General Hospital yesterday and at the weekend.

Steele, 47, of Thick Village, Siparia, told the Express she began experiencing severe chest pains on Sunday evening and arrived at the hospital's Accident and Emergency department at around 7 p.m.

She said she was attended to by a doctor and was taken to Ward 10D at around 10 p.m.

"I sat there on a chair from that time until today (Monday) when I signed myself out because I could not get a bed," Steele said. "People were lying all on the ground. This is ridiculous. The Minister keeps boasting about the health sector and how it is so good. It is the worst.

"You can't even get a drink of water and imagine when you go to the toilet you can't even flush it because there is no water."

The mother of six said she sought the services of a private doctor and had to shell out $250 for the visit.

"I didn't mind paying the money. It was better than sitting there watching old people lying on the floor and other people crying out in pain. Tears came to my eyes."

Steel was high in praise for the nurses assigned to the ward.

"They were very nice to the patients but there was only so much they could do. I believe they are really trying to help but they are also under pressure. Imagine there is a ward with about 30 people and only two nurses to attend to them?"

Hospital Medical Director Dr Anand Chatoorgoon told the Express yesterday that overcrowding continues to be a problem at the hospital inspite of a decision to increase the bed space.

"We have a policy which says, once the medical wards are overcrowded, we put the patients on beds anywhere in the hospital," Chatoorgoon said.

"The other thing is, we opened an extension to the medical wards, within the last two to three months, where we have an extra 16 beds. The problem is more and more people are accessing San Fernando General Hospital and maybe the time will come when the minister and they will have to build a new hospital."

Chatoorgoon said the demand for service at the institution outweighs its capacity.

"We have been trying to deal with the situation. We have to find more space and we have to do it soon. We are really bursting at the seams."

The reason I am putting this out there is because USA seems to have the monopoly on hosting the tournament giving them home field advantage all the time and I am sick of hearing US commentators bash other countries. Plus the lack of exposure the GOLD CUP gets in the media has always been a sore point as you have some 5 ESPN cable channels but you still have to sign up extra money to get Fox soccer. Most of the time only the US games are covered and it's who gives a shit about the rest.

USA on any given day can be beaten on the road but on thier home turf it is very difficult to beat them.  I think between the region there are enough resources to have the location vary every two years

What all yuh think?
