Let me ask you all something. Do you all really look at the way US plays? It is the one country that I can honestly say that plays like a true team. Say what you will, if we adapt our game to just half the output US plays we would be deadly.
My point is Donovan is good no doubt, but just marking him is not going to do any good, what about, PATRICK DEMPSY, BEADSLY who by the way is playing excellent ball in PSV Eindhoven, then you have to deal with Mc Bride, Eddie Johnson.
Comparing him man to man with Birchall is unfair because Donovan is a veteran player and has countless international games under his belt and is as deadly as they come.
All these players can score and the reason they do it so well is because the entire team supports each other in all areas, alway covering, always moving the ball, you rarely ever see them walking around on the field looking like they don't know what they are supposed to do.
We play two ways, either we are very good or we are very bad. The only area we are consistent is falling down in the games that matter. Time and time again when we need that one win, we lose.
