Maybe in March we would have Molino to give us some punch up front but we have to get some  more friendlies in before then

I have said this before but, we just cannot match the quick passing game of the Latin teams, Honduras were very impressive to me with their quick and deadly accurate passing and moving to the next play omg they had us chasing wind all game, we just could not hold the ball for more than 10 seconds WTF!!!, this is football 101 and we have failed to rise to the occasion in the last two games. We have the talent but lack the motivation and fitness. That 3rd goal they scored was awesome from set up to finish and once again Cyrus failed to track Boniek Garcia who was tormenting the right side.
I SUGGEST THESE GUYS START LEARNING TO READ BODY LANGUAGE AND ANTICIPATE WHERE THE NEXT PLAY IS GOING TO BE MADE

WE HAVE TO CHANGE OUR APPROACH AND IMPROVE 100%

Football / Re: D Touches Pass Tru - TT Vs Costa Rica
« on: November 14, 2016, 08:56:58 AM »
Costa Rica like all the Latin teams, leave it all on the field, we still have no answer for their one touch passes and run on plays, because our boys are too lazy/unfit to track back and recover or delay the play until other players fall back. Time and time again we were caught ball watching and completely out of position. It is so frustrating after seeing what this team is capable of when we went toe to toe with Mexico.
Costa Rica could have pounced on us whenever they felt like and we seldom looked like we could have changed the course of the game. Overall the game was boring with only small flashes of creativity, but in the end we had no finish and no shots.
There are no easy games when it comes to World Cup qualification and we are off to a terrible start. I hope we have a more positive approach to Honduras and get at least a point out of it

Great friggin game I am so proud of this team. Once again we gave up an own goal but we would have been beaten EL TRI hands down.

Fifa needs to sanction the appalling display by Mexican fans by fining the Federation and or banning Mexico from international competition for a year   >:(
MEX and USA showed their flaws in glaring fashion and I hope we get past this passive and submissive approach when we face them in the future. First and foremost we need to be physically ready in terms of fitness and take the game to them at the first whistle. If it were not for Haiti's inability to finish, the US could have been beaten when they faced them, because Haiti went after them with wave after wave of attacks down the flanks.
I have seen now in the tournament that US and MEX have grown so accustomed to each other's style of play that they were not expecting TRI JA OR HAITI to be such threats. The common factors I observed from the Caribbean teams were speed, physical strength and unpredictability. I am looking forward to the Qualifiers and hope it is MEX and US struggling to get in the top 3

I have had this feeling all along during the tournament that it was rigged so that USA and MEX meet in the finals.  It usually is a ratings bonanza and major returns on attendance, but I guess they never thought US was going to get knocked out by Jamaica. Mex seems to pull through by hook or crook.

I doh care who Mexico have in the line up, we need to play them hard as Guatemala did, "give no quarter" and go at them from the word go. CATO and Jones need to be on the wing to run at the defense all day, but they have to play them crosses to give our strikers an opportunity for headers.

SO PROUD OF THE BOYS !! YEAHHHHH.

We are in a historic position first time in a long time we don't have to wait for other match results to determine our fate!!!!!

84
I also have to big up JAMACIA AND HAITI for good fighting performances. The Caribbean REPRESENTING!!!!!!

85
Hear nah man I have not seen the warriors play in a long time and I was bouncing off the walls when we rip them with 3 in 25 min OMG when last we team do that!!!
SO PROUD of the team.

My only concern watching Mexico is to find a way to cut off them quick passes and flicks. Physically we are bigger but my goodness them Mexicans were running the whole time, Cuba just could not handle them

BUT FOR NOW I HAVE TO REVEL IN THE MOMENT FOR MY WARRIORS !!!!!!! WE GO TAKE THAT ONE ALL DAY

All the talk aside as a professional, you are on the World stage with billions of eyes on you, every coach, player, club, scout, manager and out of frustration you do something that stupid is inexcusable. The ban is not going to hurt him more than the damage to his image internationally, he will be booed no matter where he plays next. Apart from the ban he had an incident with EVRA at Man United. All the adds up to a player who does not understand his role.

Chris Birchall your name is forever stamped in the hearts of many Trinis. You came in as an unknown quantity and delivered time and time again for TNT, omg your goals your goals!!! Damn these will long be reviewed. You were a workhorse for us even in the midst of other "professionals" , I only wish is if more of our players could give us half of what you brought to the team we would have more to be proud of. Just like that you played in a World Cup for Trinidad and Tobago where many before you and after can only dream of doing.
You have given your best for us and it is sad to see you go, and I do hope you have continued success at Port Vale
