Football / Should our aging players come back home to the pfl??
« on: February 11, 2008, 07:52:03 AM »
Like most pros well most south American pros they go back home to their first club.....i wish our players would come back home to play, coach or ABROMAVICH a club aka buy it......build a lil 500-1000 seater mini stadium build ur own mini arsenal with some Haitians win d pfl. poison a big team in d Caribbean champions league on TV....and den ignore Ruskin mark when he ask yuh y it eh have no locals on d side† :rotfl:... But seriously what do you all think about the investing/playing/coaching

Is it just me or do players does jus teleport from one team to another in the off season? lololol

I think clubs should start making these moves public...start to bring some excitment to the pfl....jeez start lil transfer rumours sumting....lolol tobago united make a bid for whitley or sumtin nah....ah kno allyuh go get turn down but atleast bring sum kinda attention to ur club......make a public offer to sign sum youht man straight outta the ssfl....lolol anything, jus do sumtin plz...... I think the guys in charge of these pfl teams doh realise that they have as big a role to play off the field as the players do on it.
what allyuh think??

here are some of the things u going to need

Football / your team for tnt vs Japan
« on: July 23, 2006, 09:49:42 AM »
who allyuh wanna see on d team??

Football / Is best allyuh elect me for ttff president.....lollololol
« on: December 17, 2005, 03:32:38 AM »
On a serious note... tnt's A team cannot get a home game or any game for that matter before march 1st for reasons beyond anyones control.
So what about the other players at home..... why can't the ttff put together a B team for want of a better word and organise some "simpler" games for them......I.E. Jamaica,Cuba ,Haiti,venezuela....teams like that. Even a club team....maybe saprissa the costa rican team that was in the world club championship tournament in Japan.
Apart from the training sessions that they going to have for the local players...... We can use these games to keep these players active, Scout for players that can fit into the current Snr team....U23 & U20 squads. I am sure we can have atleast 3 of these games before march 1st. These local players need to get as much experience as possible & we need to keep them motivated......i doh think they could scout for talented players from jus training sessions....dey need to see how these guys handle game situations.
what do you all think.

Football / What should stern john do right now?
« on: December 04, 2005, 04:42:47 PM »
I personally doh want Zamora on de team, I doh think he will give de team 110%. Also I think Beenhakker first priority is players who getting a regular sweat in whichever clubs they playing in, thus I believe Samuel go have wait for a spot under Dog, not de other way around. Remember Dog playing in one of de best teams in the SPL plus he gettin Champs league football. That said, this is why de Stern John issue worryin meh b/c he eh even getting selected these days and if that continues for even a couple months Beenhakker might not select him as first-choice striker anymore, and yuh can't blame him for that. Ah eh know what the mudda @#% wrong with de Derby coach, he have his head up he bottom.

Grande man made a valid point about stern john not playing and beenieman not selecting players who have not been seeing much playing time.

Tell me ppl allyuh think stern should do?

1)try to be transferlisted to a new club where he guaranteed playing time

2)Go back to the mls on a short term loan jus to get playing time b4 the world cup

3)Beg for a 6 month loan deal to Jabloteh  :rotfl:

4)Stick it out with derby and risk not being selected

5)____________________________ <------------------(put ur own opinion there)

i lookin thru the squad lists and quite a few of these guys are now big names with their respective snr ntl teams and big clubs in europe.

SINAMA PONGOLLE Florent (liverpool)
LE TALLEC Anthony (liverpool) loan to southhampton

Fernando Torres (athletico madrid) (starter on spain snr team)
INIESTA (barcelona)
LOPEZ Maximiliano (barcelona)
TEVEZ Carlos (corinthians brazil) (argentina snr team)

« on: November 27, 2005, 10:30:04 AM »
Hmmmm well i really doh know nah...but fellas i think we should start doin our own scouting to...if yuh have tapes or something of players willing to play(GOOD PLAYERS EH NO FREN FREN TING) we could probably send them to Tallman and see if he could get dem to the relevant ppl

Football / An idea to help football development in tnt
« on: November 18, 2005, 04:47:15 PM »
What do u guys think about this, what if we had a draft that links the ssfl(secondary school football league) to the pfl.

1)players can only enter the draft after they have completed atleast form 5

2)The Draft will take place about 2months after the end of each ssfl  season

3)Have five rounds in the draft so in other words each team could get 5 players at most out of the draft

4)Each pfl team will draw 5 times to see what position they get to pick in each round of the draft

example lets say northeast stars draw number 1 in the first round and number 4 in the second round  they have the first pick in the first round of the draft i.e. they get to pick there  player befor all the other teams in round one and in the second round they will be the fourth team to pick a player

NB..**teams should be allowed to trade picking postitions how ever they choose**

i think by doing this we can keep track of our local talent and at the same time get some of the supporters of the ssfl players to come to pfl games

Obviously alot of the ssfl players wouldnt make the first team of the pfl clubs right away but atleast we will be starting a real feeder program.

Football / What we need to continue tnt football success
« on: November 16, 2005, 04:53:03 PM »
Yuh see dat 850mil dem men goin to spen on dat cricket ting...i say lets have a sports school for gifted athletes.....lets start to take all of our teams seriously at all levels so we have a true feeder program for senior teams.

Well i feel if d govt cah do it i really hope maybe CL financial Jab,joe public or w connection could do it for there clubs or sumtin seein that they are probably the richest clubs in the country. Jus t like ajax and psv an all dem teams in holland an france
have school from form 1-6 teaching the boys and keeping them focus on the sport.

what allyuh think

Bayern if allyuh need a good midfielder to replace micheal ballack otis whitley is a nice player to get, allyuh should take him while d price go be nice :rotfl:

Football / My 3 fav numbers right now
« on: November 14, 2005, 03:32:37 PM »
10 ,   5,    and 1989

10 - d number dat bahrain only playmaker does play with.... why u might ask cuz he eh playin nex game he get a yellow card hahaha

5 - d  number dat bahrain best and ugliest defender does play with....y well guyess what he eh playin neither cuz he get a yellow card to hahahahaha

1989 - the year that trinidad and tobago needed a draw or a win to make the world cup, this was also the year we were soooo boastfull and over confident an start counting our chickens  b4 they hatch and we end up gettin knock out....why is this my other fav number bcuz our behaviour in 1989 is  oh so similar to that of bahrains currently... so all d bahraini ppl heading to 'bag of man" stadium hope allyuh doh get bitten by the 1989 bug
