ONE SCENARIO - If I am not mistaken, the other three teams in our group have been to the WC before, therefore making them experienced.  Being the new kids on the block ... is it possible that all three of them could be looking to see who can score the most goals against us because goal difference may decide the who goes through to the next rounds.  I HOPE WE CAN STOP THAT!

« on: June 03, 2006, 01:43:06 PM »
Guys, not sure what we are expecting from our current team ... however, what are we doing to help ensure that the next "highly qualified coach" have a better bunch of players/talent to work with.  I think it's Czechs who are donating a percentage of the income they are getting from the WC toward youth development in their country.  WHAT ARE WE DOING TO HELP TAKE CARE OF THE FUTURE???  ANY CONSTRUCTIVE THOUGHTS?

i say that any man who think jamaica is almost and equivalent of t&t hadda be talking abt some other sport... watch those friendlies jamaica play... they alot worse!!!they have no collectiveness and cant keep possesion... t&t overall style of playing different from their's... they have no confidence and the make more and alot worse errors at the back than us... plus for a team using 2 strikers against that shitty english defense their finishing horrible... stern could easily put away those shots they miss

I SPECIFICALLY SAID NO EMOTIONS ... YOUR DUNCE AH WHAT??

the team has our support...that doh mean we musnt criticize when we see fit. listen, fans of any team get in a tizzy when they feel the team is not performing how they could or should.

Currently this is the best the team has ever performed when you look at factors such as organization, ball posession etc. ... I am afraid we ar expecting miracles.  Let's support the team, and hope that they represent us well in Germany!

The quality of the post seems to be detiorating daily ... if anyone expect us to be the quality of Brazil overnight, with the average age being more than 3o years old and our best players playing in Europe's lower division, then you are all crazy.  We went from talking about beating England to calling our own players "shit hounds" ... THE TEAM NEEDS ALL THE SUPORT IT CAN GET GUYS, LETS SUPPORT THE TEAM, AFTER ALL THIS IS THE SAME TEAM THAT QUALIFIED AND MADE US ALL HAPPY.  WHEN WE QUALIFIED DON LEO WAS CALLED A "GENIUS" NOW HE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT HE IS DOING????

We need men who have T&T at heart and will back up their minds by doing work, none stop thinkers.

After the World Cup is done I think Russell Latapy should become T&T head coach. Realistically we cannot afford to keep Beenhakker, but if we could have, then Beenhakker should be the man to keep with T&T with Latapy as assistant, if not, Latapy all the way.

Head Coach: Russell Latapy.
Assistants: Anthony Rougier, Angus Eve & Shaka Hislop.

Whay qualification does one need to be a national team coach?  Ias coaching a national team the same as coaching a club team?  PLEASE EXPLAIN SOMEONE!

« on: April 11, 2006, 03:28:51 PM »
When you read some of the comments on this site you wonder whether or we are all on the same planet ... our players, while they have talent, are not being developed properly, hence the reason they are unable to sustain a high level of play consistently.  Currently we have a national team playing in the Dallas Cup and losing too a US club team (not even the best team in the team's respective state).  Just a few months ago our U21 tied with the US U16 ... that is the lack of vision as it relates to our "development program".  We need to provide funding to hire someone of Don Leo status to implement a development program that will facilitate a style of play, discipline etc. from youth program all the way up to senior team.  There is alo a mental aspect to the game, we need to TAKE CARE and develop our talent properly, because the entire world is full of talent, but talent alone will not get you there.

Before we qualified, there was a lot of talk about going to Germany on this site ... now there is virtually none ... is anyone on this site going to Germany still???

Some of you seem to have nothing to do ... the 4/25 date was known a long time ago why is it an issue now.  Also, there is a lot of speculation going on about the jerseys, it is as if we ae expecting the whole process to be a disaster ... come on gentlemen relax.

Guys you all have to relax and stop pushing for the man destruction ... it is the same old story.  Remember at the end of the day he is a Trinidadian in a very prestigious position and if we bring him down it will probably go to the Americans, Mexicans or Lord knows who at this point ... what will that mean for us.  Could he have done some things different, yes, but this is bigger than him?????  Trinis will bring him down and nothing will change, except for our fate in football.  Easy on meh!!

This is a post I had on February 19th :

Fellas, Jack will get a slap on de wrist next month.FIFA, can't expell Jack because they will be putting themselves in more hot water.I'm sure dat Jack know he's not the only one who should be facing the Ethics committee in dat mafia style organization,so I doubt he's even worried. One thing about Jack ,he may appeared to be crazy sometimes but he ain't no dummy.Just the ascending of Jack from a Polytechnic history teacher to Concacaf President and Fifa Vice President should tell you dat.

Is more lke a bounce on his knucles, and this will be followed by a business opportunity to pay the small fine that they may impose.

follow de thread and see iz he call me out now men backing him and saying ting bout me.

if allyuh know so much allow me to educate

the arguement was never about weather or not he knew what the jersey looked like

he started a thread saying he placing an order i asked if he was getting the juzzy dem early

that what the arguement was about.

keep fighting me down nah i used to it by now

I never suggested that I was getting mine right away, but if you familiar with adidas they make what is ordered by their retailers, hence the reason for the early order ... anyhow I did order quite a few and YOU Mornantman can have one if you want, it will cost YOU about $1500  ;D.

FYI, that stadium can only accomadate 10,000 people ... 7,000 seated and 3,000 standing ... not a lot of tickets to sell for a game like that.
