« on: August 22, 2010, 07:01:27 PM »
After watching Joe Public in their dismal display against a second dtring Santons Laguna and seeing T&T's starting center Mid looking as bad as he did i thought that T&T is in some serious trouble. However yesterday i watched a Leston Paul put on a masterclass for his school in a preseason freindly. He looked confident, strong on the ball as usual, tidy with his passing (I counted one bad pass in 85 mins), won the ball basically every time he challenged. He played a deep lying role even though i think he is under utilized in this position he was miles ahead the rest. I say the midfield needs to be birchall paul and hyland.

This proposed move can have its pros and cons for KJ. This move has the possibility to turn out good for KJ cuz stoke like to play off of set pieces , their long throw and corners and free kicks cud allow kj to be a real threat this season. However stoke is a working team and kj's lazyman attitude could find himself on the bench right next to beattie and sidibe as fuller and tuncay will start.

I dont know whats the scene with tinto now, the only thing i think i can say for sure is, whoever "nazkeeper" rel like tinto.
I simply say it as i see it. But like others i've been looking at his ability and talent since Movant days.

Tinto playing the same football since intercol ....dman was a boss at SCHOOLBOY level but when i watch him now its the same thing .....in professional football you just cant push pass every player that comes in your way thats why he looses the ball so much

By the way countries like brazil and mexico live and breathe football its one of the most most important things they have. Its their religeon .... we dont have that here in trinidad
Thats why those countries will always be better than us they care more about the game as a whole country than we do

Fellas, does anyone have extensive tapes (NOT HIGHLIGHT REELS) of these fellas:

Raheem Belgrave
John "Baygo" Thomas
Andre Marchan

I want to get a look (preferably whole game or half) at these fellas in match situations.  Thanks

The best place to get those tapes would be from schoolsportcenter.com.......try contacting someone from there ....they have alot of tapesof cic and fatima ....with belgrave and bago

true. or at least a half. if ocenia could get that why not the caribbean?

The Caribbean does not deserve a spot because Caribbean teams have not qualified enough to deserve a spot andwen qualified have made no real impact

Should we play a defensive system and use just the 1 striker, YES!!!

Egypt playing at home in front of 80,000 will be more than pump-up for this game, also Egypt football has been making huge improvement.

We definitely need to play a defensive system from the back, 4-5-1 or 5-4-1 or 3-2-4-1 and also try to control the possession game.

we should just stick to our regular 3-5-2 .......or 5-3-2 when defending   no changes that would be madness

Football / Re: Ronaldo Wins FIFPro Player Award
« on: October 27, 2008, 09:27:22 AM »

FIFPro World XI:

Goalkeeper – Iker Casillas (Spain/ Real Madrid)

Defenders – Sergio Ramos (Spain/ Real Madrid), John Terry (England/ Chelsea), Carles Puyol (Spain/ Barcelona) and Rio Ferdinand (England/ Manchester United)

Midfielders - Steven Gerrard (England/ Liverpool), Xavi (Spain/ Barcelona) and Ricardo Kaká (Brazil/AC Milan).

Forwards – Lionel Messi (Argentina/ Barcelona), Fernando Torres (Spain/ Liverpool), and Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal/ Manchester United).

Well Deserved for Ronaldo

but my changes in that XI would be : Van der Sar for Casillas....Evra for Pulyol and Lampard for Kaka

Lampard for Kaka?  You on drugs.

What did Kaka do to deserve that spot on the team?....he was awful during the 07-08 season

Just news.

Jack release a statement saying the Ministry greed and only doing what they doing over percieved profits.

The news say that Cappello told Chelsea and Man United players they don't have to come to Trinidad after the USA game, because T&T is not a true test for the first 11.

This maybe why JW doing what he doing by not showing up. The big guns probably was never carded to play vs T&&T and now JW making seem like it will eventually be the Ministry fault they are not coming.

suck people off they money lol. look thing  :rotfl: :rotfl:

Called up for upcoming friendlies:

From Chelsea: Terry, A.Cole,W.Bridge(wasn't involved),J.Cole,F.Lampard, SWP??(wasn't involved)

From United: R.Ferdinand, W.Brown, O.Hargreaves, W.Rooney

Absentees most likely: A.Cole,Hargreaves,Rooney(due to hip injury)
