This Schafer guy acclimatize to Jamaica a lot quicker than I thought. He has all the excuses down pat. By next week he go be saying yeh mon iree iyah.

62
We have to knock them out early, if we sit down because we worried they coming hard, then we go end up chasing de game and lose.

We not playing fear football. This stupid captain of Jamaica say that they are 2 goals better than us. It is the boasting that drives me from liking them. I always try to give some respect but these peeps boast too much. I say 3 -1 in our favor this evening.

For one thing Jack cant make false promises anymore. But he has done a lot and taken a lot it must be said. It's time we found our own footing. Lets not forget he "Jack" did things that others didn't or couldn't, I, for one is grateful for his contributions rather than his shortcomings.

Thats because you don't fully understand his destructive impact to our football. If Trinbagonians were readers I would have written a book on this man and the havoc he wreaked on our country's football and footballers. It is a history you guys need to research for yourselves. The "good" you speak of will then seem like used toilet paper lying at the bottom of a latrine.

But I would not want to sound too unkind right now.

There's so much more that goes on behind the scenes and off the field that all contribute to the performance AND result on the field.

We have a loooooooonnnngggg way to go even with recent encouraging performances.

Sounds sober to me.

The most important thing however, is the fact that Jack can't contribute anymore behind the scenes to encourage more dismal performances.

The purging of Jack Warner from our football has already started paying dividends. It can only get better from here on in.

Tim Kee is doing a good job so far. He, like every other leader will have his detractors. Be that as it may we have seen some genuine improvement since his inauguration. Although such improvement may not be something to write home about since the only way is up from any JW administration.
Flex, on the Issue of JW you may want to change the words "crook" and "stole" since they could produce some serious legal issues for you.
VB, you have asked some probing questions but I would mix that with the thought that the MOS moves to the rhythm of his own drumbeat. it appears that he holds that position because of JW.

USA is going to surprise a lot of people in de next world cup.Its already about speed and precision in modern football. Our local coaches have to learn and implement dat.

Shabazz was thinking about that until he loss he work. Took to long to implement it.

« on: July 21, 2013, 06:44:27 AM »
that the entire back four yesterday are our reserves. No diss to these brave warriors, it just shows that we have depth and continue to build. Our starting back four would, with all things being equal, would be Hoyte, mitchell, Primus and Jones. Our midfield was also made up of reserves and some who wont be around for 2018. Our midfield should look like GUerra, Hyland Peltier molino Hector and dont forget Paul. Our Strikers would be Jones and I expect that within the next 3-4 years two or three would raise their hands to be alongside Jones.

It looks bright. I am happy again. I am totally convinced that JW should pay a price for abusing our football so badly.

Football / Re: Thread for the T&T vs Honduras Game (15-Jul-2013).
« on: July 15, 2013, 06:53:24 AM »
Mr wonder, i wonder if you know that T&T football, especially the senior program is in a rebuilding phase??

yuh must be realistic in your expectations, and the sad reality is that we don't have the quality to compete with the best in concacaf @ the moment, hek, we barely made it to the goal cup and only managed two goals from open play in the whole digicel tournament.

right now it have man who barely wants to play for the national team bc of how they were treated in the past. to besides, we almost didn't make it here, but now that we are here, lets not expect to much.

on another note, no one comes to lose except they are being paid too, the lads was out foxed and out played, it's as simple as that, and i doubt that was their intentions in the first place, so lets move on and hope that the boys get ah result tonight,

if not then there's tons of room for improvement, and leaving this tourney early is not the end of the world since we've seen worst under austin jack warner's tenure.  be patient, rome was not build in an hour.
What rebuilding phase u talking about?is that your excuse for how we playing?if u rebuilding u don't start at the top u start from the ground and go up.

Look at the impressive list of foreign based professional players we have and T&T can't put a descent team together,i can't understand how we are playing better than everybody and still loseing and all we can say is the other team lucky, when will we become lucky,is it luck that got us to Germany or how we played?

Shabazz,Latapy etc etc  was rebuilding too and were never given a chance, now all of a sudden Rome was not built in a day,i am waiting to see how long it will take to build Rome.

You are waiting? That seems like all you do. You seem to be very patient because of your patient hope that JW will one day turn out to be a credible football admin. It never happened! We are in this problem because of your last god. DOesn't say much for your credibility either.
This new admin and coach will take us to new level and would not be the descent that you spoke of in your above post. You guys need to go into hibernation and leave T&T football alone. You are incapable of adding any thing to the program. You did that years ago and we thank you for your service on the field. Now leave the rest up to those who truly understand what it means to administrate

Football / Re: Hyland is Overrated...
« on: July 13, 2013, 01:30:08 PM »
For all the talk, people talking about Hyland, I hardly ever see Guerra give away a ball or make such bad passes in a game.

I'm sorry but Hyland should not be a starter, Bleeder ah love yuh breds but your not Captain material or first team material anymore. J Jones is a waste and I was happy to see Carter get a rest.

To be totally honest I believe we need 5 men in the mid, 4-5-1 is a better formation for us, or at least have a man like Guerra play behind Jones and put Hector on the wing in the future.

what is frustrating is to see defenders make school boy mistakes, ball watching, allowing strikers too much space, not defending with their life. Hart is a great coach, its too bad, he has these wanna be primadonnas on the team that feel they should be there.

Time to get rid of them and field players who actually love defending and winning, TT players attitude is below par for intl football

Nothing too controversial about your analysis since it lets us know that you know very little about the game. BTW you got two things right one is the Theobold comment and the other is about Carter.

I agree and disagree. Any keeper worth his salt would have either collected cleanly or if in doubt punch hard. You don't parry a ball under pressure.

Football / Is JMW the best keeper we have?

if so, we have a real problem. The man slap a ball right back to an onrushing Haitian. Bleeder got to go. Keon is having one of I-am-sleepy game. otherwise we arrite. I believe that we can still win this match. Suddenly Haity is not looking as dangerois as they were against Honduras.

I know the local coaches lack the experience that foreign coaches have. But allyuh projecting some real shit talk. What allyuh mean they have ego problems. Because Shabazz refuse to be an understudy to Hart, he has a ego problem. Most of us don't like Shabazz period. That stems from 1990. I could understand that. But the Privy Council deemed that Abu and his crew should go free because of an agreement signed under duress. That is our friggin fault. We Trinis don't have balls to change the laws or move away from the Privy Council.

Now like I state again, the local coaches does do all the bull work in coaching these fellas from small. You think the foreign coach go deal with the football admin. You think a foreign coach will take money from he pocket to do the thing local coaches do for the young one. Whether locals methods are good or bad is beside the point. The issue is their is no national program to have coaches certified and progress to the next level on a CONSISTENT basis. Most qualified coaches do it on their own or get sponsors to assist them. The ones who get sponsors are far and few between.

Are you trying to tell me Michael Grayson who use to coach Arima and now coach St. Augustine is a shithong. Look at some of the guys that pass thru his hands. I know Winchester for one. Grayson used to be in the US almost every summer doing courses and coaching. But he refused to toe the line during the Warner admin. So he has an ego problem too. Allyuh just full ah friggin shit. Don't let that 2-2 draw day before get to allyuh friggin head. Just a couple months Hart and Canada get humiliated out of the WC. Let we see what the guys do against Haiti. It will probably be not too long before we see a Fire Hart post.

So stop denegrating the locals, because when Hart and Beenie Man leave is back to local coaches the admin will come back to. If allyuh feel it that bad then hire only foreigners from primary to secondary. See how that work.

First off Deeks Hart is a local coach. Born and bred Trini. Now concerning the denigration of local coaches, the majority have brought that on themselves because of their force-ripe desire to be a "national" coach. Hence the reason we always look so bad with "local" coaches at the helm.
The requirement for nationa l positions must change! Look we have Anton Corneal who has coached nothing and nowhere in his coaching career ups jess so and get a big position in the national setup. Michael Grayson I know personally. We played football together as kids when he was living up chancellor hill. Now that we have gotten rid of the grim reaper maybe Michael will get his chance now and many other qualified and knowledgeable coaches.
Having said that, you do realise that this is the first positive result we have gotten against ES at a GC. Don't you sense a trend and truly more positive atmosphere since the grim reaper has been booted out of office. We can only move up now we could never do worse than the previous administration.

He should never get a visa nor should never been given the opportunity to coach T&T. Also any monies owed to him should go towards paying for his part in the destruction of public and private business as well as towards the families murdered by these assholes.

May their names and their form of religion be always spat upon.

Thanks for the info. This team actually make me feel like watching football again. Luckily I saw that they defeated CR. This is something you don't see regularly whether at senior or junior level. It bodes well for the future.
If TimKee realises early enough that he is in admin and does not impose himself into the game like his predecessor then maybe we are in for a ride over the next few years.

Just watched highlights of both games - this has to be one of, if not, the most talented U17 players I have seen since the days of York & Latapy. Special mention to #15, 9 & 7. The talent no doubt is there but lets hope that the administration can come through for these youngsters.

Brent Sam, Akeem Garcia and Kishun Seecharan.

Raymond Timkee was the very worst possible choice. Clueless is not the word besides which something alot of people dont know and which he has been hiding for years. He is a muslim for over 30 odd years but hides it because of business. But this is T&T the land of mediocre and masons. He will make Jack look like a  diamond.

well dey had 90 minutes plus 30 in extra time to dispatch our rag tag warriors and could not do it, and then we out performed them in teh "crap shoot."

See them in the God Cup.  If their priority was ONLY o make the world cup den he should have kept his aces on the bench...mission  accomplished.

The FACT that he brought them on shows otherwise.
I'm not sure what point you're trying to make.

You refer to Johnson - Warner's personal attendant for many moons. Watson is a former prison officer. he sees the world from that perspective and believes we are all his prisoners. He is anti-democratic, arrogant and abusive. The Eastern FA has entered into terminal decline, and unless the clubs (MOVE) that are fighting for a democratic election in the east win their struggle some may very join the exodus from the EFA into the Arima League and the Eddie Hart League. Watson as TTFF president would be an unmitigated disaster. if you think things bad now, just wait...
yes Deryck will bring alot of credibilty to the table. To some Look Loy may seem tainted having associated so long with the previous admin, but he did something unprecented in that admin. He resigned! That alone should give an indication that the man has some principles.

thanks for clearing that up for me. Couldn't the EFA write Chuck Blazer for some more help? But seriously though why not speak with Look Loy and ask him to bring Deryck Murray on board with him. Yes Deryck Murray! This guy has shown his administrative ability while running the TTCB and brought T&T cricket out of the doldrums into a powerhouse in WI cricket. But sadly cricket is going the way of a JW-led admistration now. An utter incompetent is handling our cricket and its in somewhat of a decline right now. Deryck was also a pretty good footballer in his day. We know he is an excellent admistrator.

God help us but it is true - Watson is it - but the latest intelligence says that he is running scared because he doesn't want to be associated with the Soca Warriors court case. The TTFF is imploding and hopefully Marlon Morris and his people will win the Northern FA election that will take place on Monday 31st. BTW, my information is that Clint Marcelle has joined with the incumbent NFA president Roland Forde after he lambasted the outgoing administration for having done nothing for years. Politics...
President could you enlighten me abourt this Watson chap. Is he by chance the baggage handler at piarco? Jack's Driver turn administrator?

not sure why all the jubilation. whoever gets the appointment will be bashed here in the same manner, especially since we lack true leaders... who in it for the betterment of all rather than one. wait and see.

lets see if shaka and/or lasana will step up to the plate.

The jubilation is for the off-loading of dead weight. I will repeat what I wrote when this whole thing started. THANK YOU CHUCK BLAZER!!! In one fell swoop two very wicked men have been dispatched without a peep. And also as i said earlier. If we dont qualify tough. but if we do it would be an indictment on JW and his awful administration of our football all these years. Give Look Loy the presidency. Look (pun intended) at the coach he chose.
Oh btw Jack wrote that letter for Ollie.the style is too similar plus ollie aint smart enuff to pen such a letter.

Is not Guyana we fraid Andre...we fraid weself...as we know we go do some shit and it go be a heart attack situation coming down to the end.

I just think that we panicing too much.........do we have any match reports from Guyana's games against Bermuda and Barbados? I am curious to see how the balance of play went.

I agree that our team lacked chemisty in the first two games, but in neither game were we ever threatened with anything from these teams.

Both our first two games could have ended up 4-0.

We will handle Guyana, i am more concerned with how fast we will improve in time for the second phase against Costa Rica and Mexico.

ah love it!!

If Latapy or Maturana was coaching I would be a bit worried.
