Interesting ! I will await to see what the future hold for these two! They are  probably two young people trying to make it? I would like to see what they look like. I don't recall seeing their pictures in the newspapers!

Football supporter thanks for making it clear for bakes! I assume people who are interested in the future of our football and interested in officials being accountable for the actions would have been following the debacle. But I realised Bakes wanted me to be more explicit!
But you said it!
Importation of foreign currency without declaring it. Who know how it was facilitated into the country. The list of violations read out by the learned judge on Saturday. Violation of the code of ethics which are also criminal offences in our jurisdiction ! And what about the excess that was to be returned to Jack for those who did not accept the gifts. Which office was the money handed over from? I hope it is Concacaf and not a government office. Although it is still on our soil.  Gibbs was told to wait until the final verdict by FIFA. I can only speculate why?

Congrats on the win against Dominica they needed 4 goals and got it , that is a good sign. Onto the next round which will be a truer test! I hope the team moves from strength! We need some good news in football!

Fyzoman
Yuh feel Nakhid is the type one can speak with! Would you support a man who want to mash up your side and feel he better than all the players on the team? It was controversy after controversy with Nakhid long after Gally!
Boy all yuh like ole talk yes! I thought by now everybody saw the kind of person he is . All yuh forget all dat already? Anyway I am glad to see he is helping the younger ones over there! I get the feeling he feel people had enough of him in strongest! Be careful too of anyone Jack supports , you know he have plans for you! Well no longer in football but maybe politics for as long as he lasts! He holding on by the skin of he teeth right now!

Football supporter I am wondering what kind of justice is this? The workers get charged for carrying out the boss instructions! I guess they were advised by the lawyers or loyalty to their boss! I guess Jack will reward them and pay them for the year! But what about their character? No one will hire them as they can be seen as co-conspirators in crime! I don't think there is a price one can fix for loss of character! But Jack into a corner now . He cannot speak on any matter of integrity or corruption by the PNM! St Cyr have the last laugh!
He just have to wok,wok and wok and hope someone will pardon him!

He has interfered with the careers of too many of our national football heroes! I don't think there is any pity among the real football fans and football fraternity! Every hog have it's Saturday !

Now that Bin Hamman has been banned for life and minguell and sylvester of Trinidad and Tobago banned for one year ,where does that leave Jack? Is he still presumed innocent? Unequal application of the law! Or now that the evidence has been given by Ms Kanhai is it now up the various jurisdictions to lay charges on receipt of the report?
When FIFA told Gibbs to wait on the report I guess he knew they will have something to work with! What a thing! This thing stinks to high heavens!

I agree with Tempo's analysis of the situation when Lincoln was adviser! Not sure if his advise was considered if it did not fit with Jack's agenda which nay not have been what is best for our soccer but what Jack wants. Clearly Lookloy and Groden met those expectations! Since they are appointed by Jack they should do the decent thing and resign as should Camps! If these three clear the way there might be some hope for a new direction! If not Crapaud smoke we pipe!
But I am impressed with Lincoln article especially the need for transparency, proper constitution and more democracy and accountability!
That is what we voted for eh! Jack had a golden opportunity to put things right as a member of government but it is becoming clearer and clearer that there is another agenda !

the idea of bridging the gap from secondary school to senior level is an interesting one which Gally addresses in question #4. In fact I have  heard foreign coaches complain that some players at the senior level lack the technical skills required at that level ! I note a coaching seminar coming up shortly I hope some attention will be given to this!

340
There is more to come out of this ! Exoneration by FIFA is only at the institutional level. At the national and international levels crimes appear to have been committed and  can be pursued if the Police Departments choose to take action? This whole issue was so widely covered, I don't think this is the end of this matter! Be careful of the web you weave you can get entrapped in it, Poor Uncle Jack!

Flex, great interview! You got a little behind gally the man. But seriously football has become so much of who we are as a people. It is something we are all passionate about. It is not only about a game , Gally's time was really a happy time and it lasted for some time ! We cannot go back to the ole days but if only we could lift the spirits of trinbagonians again!

This interview made me wonder what the sports writers in T&T doing? Who is bringing the issues to the sport- hungry people of T&T and celebrating our successes and Heros?

The very first answer set the tone for the entire interview. Gally's background reinforces the importance of knowing one's identity complete with his history and the difference those make in how we think and live.

Excellent choice Flex.

PS. What allyuh think about his ideas for question 4?

4. Football has changed, from your time to now. How important is the SSFL in today's football. In other words, can it contribute to our national team in a positive way and can it help develop players.

EC: - First we need to have the SSFL players play a longer season, but since that will be clashing with the academics then we need to have SSFL zonal football. North Zone, South Zone, Central Zone and East Zone etc.

Select the best coaches in the country to manage these zones which will compete against each other before and after the SSFL season. We can also create a sort of ODP like in the USA where about thirty players are regularly trained and screened for national selection. Start a Tertiary Football League to bridge the gap between SSFL and senior football.

This tertiary league will accommodate players leaving and not being able to meet the required standard of senior football. For example; players can transfer to this league with their regular teammates as an old boys club. For example; St. Benedicts old Boys, Fatima old boys, St. Anthony’s old boys, Naparima, Presentation, QRC, Signal Hill, St. Mary’s, Murcurapo, St. Augustine, Arima, El dorado, Carapichaima and others. This will also bring back the crowds who have already been a fan base connected to their schools.
