Those points may be true but if we're talking abt an election then unless Anil is the only one voting, he can’t control who gets elected. If Russel Latapy and Dwight Yorke get nominated against Anil’s so called “Lackies” who do you think wining that election? Yorke and Latapy by a mile.

As long as the electoral process is clean and non-corrupt I think it is the right way to go. Whoever wins in the electoral process wins but any change from the incumbent is necessary if our football is going to advance from its current putrid state.

I agree with Anil here. He is spot on with everything he said. Thank Goodness someone in authority is finally standing up for T&T football. We need to move away from the mom and pop, friend friend type of management to proper modern accountability based management of our sport.

I fully support Anil's position.

Guys forgive me for this but I may have missed the Hutson Charles appointment (congrats to him). I know all about him as a player but does he have much high level coaching experience. Either way I hope he does well and maybe even gets the job full time. I really enjoyed watching him as a player.

What happened to Anton Corneal? When and why was he relieved of the interim coaching position?

I really really reallyyyyy hope Molino moves to Europe. That youth have real game but lacks the proper exposure to maxamize his talent. I hope he signs for Zulte bec that club in particular is good at developing young players.

He is a good player on his best day. I've watched almost all his Prem games and I've seen Jones play so well they send 2 defenders to cover him before he gets the ball. Unfortunately, as someone said above, he started to play real real real realllllll lazy and didn't look interested sometimes.

I think another Prem team might take a chance on him if he takes a pay cut. Otherwise a move outside of England might be in his forecast because to end up in the Championship would be humiliating after being the poster boy of the last 2 clubs he was at. That would be a huge drop for him.

I am a big Aston Villa fan and was hoping they took him to play with Bent. That would have been a nice move for him. No chance of that now though.

He should be looking to head to the MLS next season as a minimum.

Molino is suchhhhhhhh a good player its absolutely amazing to me that he isn't in Europe or at the very least in the MLS. Does this guy have an agent and does that agent have a clue? Toronto FC could use a player with his skill set.

To be honest this should have been the kinda scores against both kitts and Cuba ....congrats boys keep working

P.s. Bring back Paul
No offence eh bro but that is the type of arrogant thinking by fans, administrators and players that have us where we are in football. Times have changed and on any given day we could lose to any team in the caribbean. We are no longer power houses, those days are longgggg gone.

Molino, Gay in 'Olympic' squad
Story Created: Nov 20, 2011 at 10:49 PM ECT

The Trinidad and Tobago under-23 football team head coach, Angus Eve has included four players with senior international experience in his final 20-man squad to contest the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) final round of Olympic qualifiers, in St Kitts/Nevis this coming week.

Following a training camp in Tobago over the past week, Eve announced his team which will be captained by defender Sheldon Bateau. The four players who have already played for the T&T senior team are influential Orlando City midfielder Kevin Molino who is the team's vice captain, W Connection defender Joevin Jones, striker Shahdon Winchester, and Jamal Gay.

"It's a combination of some of the Under-20 players who didn't qualify for the Pan American Games," Eve told TTFF media officer Shaun Fuentes, "as well as some of the senior guys who have come through the ranks. We also have guys like (Leslie) Russell, Nuru Muhammad and Kareem Moses who have done well in the Pro League but haven't had much experience on the international level. This gives us a well balanced team that is hungry for success and will go into this tournament eager to continue their promising run from the Pan American Games."

The T&T footballers leave for St Kitts tomorrow, and will go into action on Thursday against Cuba before facing the hosts on Saturday and Suriname two days later. The top two teams will advance to the final CONCACAF qualifying round, in the United States in March. The top two CONCACAF teams will qualify for the 2012 Olympic football tournament.

T&T got a good final warm-up ahead of the CFU qualifying tournament when they held a locally—based senior men's team to a goalless draw in Tobago on Friday. The senior squad had nine members of the team that played in World Cup qualifying, including goalkeeper Marvin Phillip, Hayden Tinto, Keon Daniel, Kendall Jagdeosingh, Osei Telesford and Devorn Jorslyn.

Last Wednesday, the Olympic team beat Super League runners-up Stokely Vale 5-1 in another warm-up, and also held eventual champions Mexico, third-placed finishers Uruguay and Ecuador to 1-1 draws at the Pan American Games in Mexico last month. Mexico beat Argentina 1-0 in the final.

T&T Squad Sheldon Bateau (captain), Leslie Russell, Jamal Gay, Trevin Caesar, Aquil Selby, Micah Lewis, Nuru Abdullah Muhammad, Kareem Moses, Joevin Jones, Mekeil Williams, Shahdon Winchester, Andre Marchan, Jomal Williams, Jerrel Britto, Jayson Joseph, Jeromie Williams, Jean Luc Rochford, Glenroy Samuel, Sean De Silva, Kevin Molino
No Adams in that squad????????? That makes no sense; Adams is better than J Jones at LB.

HAHAHAHAHA

This is a man that does not watch Trinidad football because Jones is 10x better than Akeem Adams

Adams should be in the squad as Jones can also play LW but doe get your head tief.. Adams nowhere near Jones technically or football brain wise

I’ve seen both players play numerous times and I think Adams is the better player at LB. He’s slower but better. Jevon Jones as someone said above also plays LW so he should also be in the squad but I like Adams more at LB. Just so we are clear, I think J Jones is a very good baller and deserves to not only be on this team but he should be starting line up because he’s one of our best young players but I still like Adams more at LB more.

K Jones is not the type of striker that can score outside of a structured setting that he is used to, He has never been and will never be a goal scorer for T&T,

I saw Birchall as well and he looked good in the Def Mid role. When it comes to the national team tho I think Hyland is the better in that role. Our mid field is a strong point for once.

Is Jeromie Williams. He resemble Chubby eh?
dd.
4 real... Is Chubby self pop in muh mind when I saw Jeromie.

I don't thiiink anyone on d  forum could look at that game and say the standard of play was good. How can it be when we producing average talent> That's y ppl rejoice when we win or even draw regardless of the standard. T&T have not been and won't be dominating anything as long as our admin remains the same and or until we produce anove average talent.

Mexico was wayyyyyyy better than us and to me coming out with a draw against a team so much better is reason to celebtate. We were lucky not to losr 4-1 bec they hit the post 3 times. A point is a point and we'll take it.

Angus Eve deserve credit for his tactics today.
