Yorke and co...TNT Warriors a different perspective.
« on: March 18, 2006, 10:42:09 AM »
How many players from our team is presently injured or not seeing regular  game action?

Yorke
Shaka
Spann

 etc.....
etc......

Looking at this stint by Yorke from different perspectives?

Up sides:

He is training and allegedly keeping fit.

He is exposed to quality players

He is active in the game

DOWN SIDE:

No match or game fitness

No competitive or keeping in striking form

Endurance fitness may suffer

Game readiness may suffer

Where does this leave us? The core of our team is based in England; some are playing on a regular basis some players are not.  Yorke our captian and most experienced player is training but not playing..... are there reasons to be concerned?

I read where A.Corneal is having some training sessions with locally based players. Maybe someone is finally listening to the  forum fans proclaim that we ought to have a developmental squad at home and that our locally based players ought to be exposed to the level of fitness and training as the overseas pros.

which players will benefit the most from this current format of team selection and training?

Which players stand to lose the most?
