the groups will be given out at a later time, all that is known is that Mexico will be in group B and that group B will consist of 5 teams with 3 bids while group A will have 2 bids to the FIFA U17 World Cup next year in Korea.

That is the big question.    Why 9 teams?

From what I understand it was suppose to be one qualifier from the CFU Tournament, but once T&T get knocked out by Haiti, all of a sudden it became 2 teams. Warner again!!!!!! No wonder every time T&T do something in football people quick to discredit it.
Now they saying three teams will qualify from the group of 5. If T&T end up in the group of 5 questions will be asked once again.
Why would CONCACAF not say the two best teams qualify and number three in each group play each other for the last spot.

ANC2 y uh letting out secrets  ;D To be honest this is all a shame, because before the Tournament start it look like a farce. US officials said they cannot even get a reply as to why the format changed. Imagine that!

Nah! The winners (defending champions) of the U17 never got an Automatic spot, dat is old talk. France did not play in Finland in 2003

As for groups A & B, the commitee making the drawings will probably set it up like this. they'll separate the 2 North American countries (Canada, USA) in opposite groups, then they'll do the same with the CFU qualifiers (Haiti, Trinidad & Tobago) and the UNCAF qualifiers (Costa Rica, El Salvador). So group A will have 2 UNCAF (including Honduras), 1 CFU, and 1 North American team. While group B will have 2 CFU (including Jamaica), 1 UNCAF, and 2 North Americans (including Mexico).

Group A
Honduras(hosts)

Group B
Jamaica(hosts)
Mexico

qualifiers:
Canada
USA
Haiti
Trinidad & Tobago
Costa Rica
El Salvador
