Warner for CONCACAF EXCO meeting on Nov 24.

Jack Warner is expected to be in Los Angeles, California for the CONCACAF Executive Committee Meeting on November 24.
The FIFA Vice President and his executive members last met in April and this time around they will hear reports on all past, current and future tournaments in the CONCACAF as well as from the bodies of the Caribbean and Central America.
With a packed agenda on the schedule, one of the highlights will be the draws for next year’s CONCACAF Under 20 and Under 17 Final round tournaments. T&T are into the Under 17 final round and will vie for a place in the Under 20 finals when they come up against Jamaica in a CFU playoffs early next month. Following the meeting, CONCACAF will then stage the finals of the Women’s Gold Cup and World Cup qualifiers. T&T will meet Mexico in one of the preliminary matches at the Tropical Park Stadium on November 19.
Before going to Los Angeles, Warner will be in Tahiti to attend the Oceania Congress on behalf of FIFA President Sepp Blatter and he will then visit Korea to lead inspections of that country’s facilities for the 2007 FIFA Under 17 World Championship
Meantime, the CFU will oversee more action, this time with the senior teams as the the second round of 2007 Digicel Caribbean Cup (Caribbean Qualification – 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup) continues this week as Group I takes place in Fort de France, Martinique.
Along with the hosts, Cuba, Haiti and Surinam will compete in Group I from November 8-12. The Digicel Caribbean Cup Second Round will also have Barbados staging Group G, which also includes Bahamas, Bermuda and St. Vincent & The Grenadines, from 19 – 23 November, while Antigua & Barbuda, Dominican Republic, Guadeloupe and the host Guyana are in Group H that runs from November 24-28.
The top two from each group will advance to the Final Round scheduled for Trinidad & Tobago from January 31-February 11.
Prior to the Digicel Cup Final Round, the best third-place finishers from the second round will meet in a triangular group scheduled for December 2006 with the winner claiming the eighth and final spot in the Final Round alongside the six group qualifiers and the host, Trinidad & Tobago.
The twelve-team 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup™ will be comprised of four teams emerging from the Caribbean Qualifying (2007 Caribbean Digicel Cup Final Round to be held in Trinidad & Tobago), five from the Central American Qualification (2007 UNCAF Nations Cup hosted by El Salvador) and three automatic qualifiers from the North Zone (Canada, Mexico and USA).
The 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup is scheduled to take place from June 6-24 in cities across the USA with venues to be announced in late November.
