The new look defence is apparently solid.  They're calling John Mensah 'the rock'.  Looks like Ferdinand's days are numbered and perhaps Bardsley too after being replaced by Da Silva for this game  ;D.

Full Time:

Sunderland 2 - 0 Birmingham
Scorers: Henderson, Campbell
Attendance: 20,556

Next round here we come. New look defence for Saturday me thinks.

Good game for KJ.

KJ made the first goal tonite and had a good game, also made a clearance that denied Birmingham a goal but as usual missed an easy chance and also blasted one over the bar, could have easily got 2.

So missing easy chances wasn't just exclusive to T&T then!

Those who was scolding KJ for not putting away chances for T&T better shut up now!!  ;)

KJ has temporaily lost his goal scoring shoes but when he finds them back allyuh will be seeing goals from him for Sunderland almost every game he plays, just watch and see!  8)
