I think Milan's ability to shut down Barca and stifle their passing lanes at San Siro was facilitated by the smaller pitch there but Barca had more room to pick them apart today....Barca's pressure didn't help Milan, either. One of the best games of the season!!

He had c**t-mout' rio and bad man evra in fronta him too when he did unleash the other demon against manu the last time they did embarrass dem.....shot the ball from behind them so vds was blinded for an instant but he was still quick enough to react but still too helpless to stop it..ball pass right by he hand. Messi's instincts and spacial awareness are phenomenal. Milan's approach was to converge defenders on him as soon as he touched the ball and for the most part, that works throughout the game (it sure did at san siro) but his speed of thought and actions made it not work when it counted most yesterday. The boy is amazing and he really is right up there with the very best ever of them, whether "he" wins a WC or not.
