ManCity coulda and shoulda  and woulda been wise to have gotten rid of Tevez during the off season when he was clamoring to leave.  They went and got another Argentinian who, currently, seems to be a better fit for the team and what they are "trying to build" (with money) and who seems more than happy to live and play in the city of Manchester, with or without his family.  Corinthians wanted him back and mancity tell dem to ride out.  What did Mancini and them expect after he was making all the noise he made in the off season?  Tevez just decide that he go do what he hvta do to get to hell outta dodge.  He say he missin' he famalee, who knows, maybe it's the truth.  I would like to think that he went to the team long before all this got to this point and asked to leave and I'm willing to bet that the team could have gotten the rid of him and not lost a step in their "building process".

You right Chow but there are things yuh jes don't do. I sure he was happy to take de people 200K a week while he was missing he family and hating Manchester. This is the man job and while City shoulda resolve this months ago, he went too far.

I have to say, I very happy to see Ranieri end this idiotic high defensive line Benitez had bring to Inter. Them old fogeys in their back line was real struggling. Now they just need to cut out the stupid mistakes.

meh..nothing to talk about..he couldve put in a better tackle on the second goal

Hyland played about ten minutes as a center back until the coach made some shuffles. Then they put him in his usual central midfield spot.
He had a curling shot on target but from about 30 yards he needed to really pound it to beat the keeper.

On the 2nd goal he was man-marking Ballack, but did some ball-watching and then the clearance fell straight to Ballack.  However, that goal was never scoring if the defender didn't deflect it away from the keeper.  Hard luck.

Tough luck for Villareal today, excellent performance defensively and structure-wise to keep City on the ropes before Aguero poison them at the death.

I can't say enough about how much I admire Villareal...

Season after season they have to deal with adversity.. From their best players being taken to their coaches leaving to lack of funds available.... and yet season after season they more than acquit themselves.

They have a 2 touch kinda knock since back in the Riquelme heyday that they adhere to.. Never forcing the play too much, always calm and under control. Borja Valero, ah real like that player brand and Rossi is ah boss. Love to watch the yellow submarine play.

I think i heard the commentator say they had 17 away fans at the game tonight.

Yuh never know. The thought of defensively rank sh!thongs like Adriano and Dani Alves defending against Robben and Ribery fills me with laughter (if Bayern can actually get the ball). Even more than the thought of Pique and Puyol defending against Gomez. Maybe if they had Casillas. Of course Bayern need another big defender...
