After all the excitement of the game, I surprise (even in the media) that both keepers were not singled out for praises on their performances. Serious big, match winning saves were made on both ends. very impressive

Messi wanted no part of this losing effort.  That kinda licks is just abnormal.  Barcelona ever get licks like that in their history?

Barca=one man team, no Messi/no fit Messi, no glory! Hope Dortmund take the final!

Barca relies heavily on Messi's brilliance but to call them a one man team is a bit of a stretch....their current lack of form can be as equally attributed to all their injuries and breakdown in their back four as it can be to Messi's current poor form.  Not too long ago when Barca was at their best, nobody was beating them even when Messi was missing.

Interesting that not only two German Teams will be fighting for the CL CUP, but both teams are coached by German Coaches.

Something smells fishy.....

Dortmund's Mario Goetze out of final

May 23, 2013
By Associated Press
DORTMUND, Germany -- Borussia Dortmund midfielder Mario Goetze will miss Saturday's Champions League final against Bayern Munich after failing to recover from a hamstring injury, leaving the team without one of its best players.

Dortmund confirmed Wednesday that Goetze will not be fit in time to face his future club at Wembley Stadium in London. It would have been the 20-year-old Goetze's last game for Dortmund before his 37-million euro switch to Bayern next season.

Bayern are the more balanced team, with a potent attack & solid defense. With Goetze out and Hummels doubtful, Dortmund must be rattled mentally. Robben will be desperate to bury his ghost of struggling in finals. 3 CL and 1 WC.
All said its one game, winner take all anything can happen.

Hmmm...was there even any hype around this final> I could have easily forgotten it was today.

I'm not that interested in seeing two German teams play against each other. But they both deserve to be there.
