Just read on de Swansea site dat Sancho move has been held up.This is as a result of new Home office rules where Sancho has to get a new work permit to move to Swansea.De Swansea manager is hopeful though dat he will be available soon.

You really believe that the Home Office believes that intentinally holding up Sancho's loan deal to Swansea will improve their chances of beating T&T?  ??? ???

Brent Sancho switch held up.
Swansea City.

Swansea City have had to put the loan signing of Gillingham central defender Brent Sancho on hold. The Trinidad & Tobago international was expected to sign on a one-month deal today, but new Home Office rules means the 28-year-old must process a new work permit.
Manager Kenny Jackett is still hopeful of completing the move in time for Sancho to figure against Walsall at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday.
Sancho fell out of favour at Gillingham after becoming embroiled in a club-versus-country row.
He joined Gillingham in August 2005 on a two-year contract following a successful trial period during the summer after two seasons with Dundee in the Scottish Premier League.
Sancho, who can also play at right-back, has also played for both MyPa47 and Tervarit FC of Finland; Charlestone Battery and Portland Timbers of the USA A-League; San Juan Jabloteh and Joe Public FC of Trinidad. An experienced international, he has won over 40 caps for his country.
The real measure of a man's character is what he would do if he knew he would never be found out.

SCALLY FUMES AT SANCHO STALEMATE

SCALLY FUMES AT SANCHO STALEMATE
(sportinglife.com)

Brent Sancho's proposed loan move to Swansea has collapsed with the Gillingham defender returning to Priestfield with immediate effect.

After a discrepancy over the length of the deal, the Trinidad & Tobago international has rejoined Ronnie Jepson's side ahead of Saturday's trip to Nottingham Forest.

Gills chairman Paul Scally told the club's official website: "We had agreed a deal with Swansea that would have seen Brent join them on loan.

"But they now want to renege on that deal and quite frankly I'm furious with them for not honouring their word. We will not get caught out again in any further dealings with them."

Sancho's temporary move to the League One high-flyers was initially delayed due to work permit problems before it was scrapped.

Bunch of politics in this. It's a shame for the man, he wants to play anywhere right now.
