Lucky shopper wins World Cup package
Trinidad ExpressNIGEL Lewis is the second lucky shopper to be heading off to the World Cup finals in Germany after winning in the second leg of the Adidas World Cup 2006 competition.
Lewis' name was pulled by soca artiste Maximus Dan yesterday at Francis Fashions Shoe Locker and Sportsworld in Port of Spain, which is hosting the in-store competition.
Fifteen other shoppers won free tickets the Trinidad and Tobago versus Peru warm-up match on May 10.
Customers who spend $250 or more have a chance to enter the weekly competition and win one of the five World Cup packages, which include airfare, match tickets, accommodation and ground transfers, or one of the 75 free tickets to the friendly match in May.
Lewis could not be reached for comment on his win.
