No idea.

May have something to do with his brother who already played in Europe. One of the exceptions to the rule is if parents move to the country in which the club is located for reasons other than football.

Liverpool may well be able to bring this dude over to England, but they cant make him sign a contract until age 18, so it would be a very big risk

keith kelly went to  PSG academy at 16  also julian de guzman went to olympic   marseille academy as a teenager also . they could make the move but the academy but   cannot make a first team  appearance before they turn 18. Stephan del las is at Birmingham city

Jonathan De Guzman left canada when he was small. Him and his brother Julian. Julian, former Hannover 96 player, now plays with La Liga giants De Portivo. Jonathan, also caught the eyes of coaches and ended up in Holland. He is about to get his Dutch citizenship this year. Canada is trying very hard to have him return to his mother land and represent them. Jonathan and his mother is not interested though.

As for the youth from Kenya, he need to put on some muscle on those legs. Geezz!!  :rotfl:

Yes. Jono is more interested in being Dutch and works towards making the Dutch national team. He has his full support of his mother as well.
