Owen can still make it
« on: March 28, 2006, 07:36:15 PM »
Englands striker Michael Owen could make it to the world cup after all.He underwent surgery for the second time last week to repair a broken bone in his foot.A screw was  inserted in his leg in January and was changed and tightened. He said that there are 11 weeks still for the world cup and he should be back in four.He also stated that he has been scoring goals all his life and will have the same instincts when he is 50.Owen has scored 33 goals in 74 internationals for England and this could be his third world cup appearance.
