T&T vs. was the best performance it showed a new maturity in T&T football. Other times, T&T would have gone down 4 - 0 after missing that penalty and getting scored on. Instead this time they prepared to go down to the end fighting only to realize that they were dominating the game soon after the second (T&T) goal.
In terms of asserting superiority, I don't think that I've ever seen a T&T team play with the kind of confidence that they played against Iceland. Confidence was high enough for Beenhakker to replace half the team in the second half, and still not get punished by Iceland. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come. We need a team that could walk into a match expecting to win like USA and Brazil does.
