Youth / School groups wanted for link to England Football group for Arts Exchange project during the FIFA World Cup.

The World Cup Video Cast project run by Richard Wood of UK football project Start of an Era will start during the World Cup in Germany this June. The project is an arts / football based cultural exchange project that uses the internet for cultural exchange. The project is supported by the BBC and the Arts Council UK and Coventry City FC Partnership Centre.
Working with groups of school children and youth groups in Coventry UK they will have the opportunity to collaborate with other similar groups around the world to create pieces of art for exhibition around football stadiums in the UK.
We’d like to invite youth groups who’d be interested in exchanging their passion for football and the world cup with other young people across the globe. Start of an Era wants to here from youth groups or schools in Trinidad & Tobago, Sweden and Paraguay.
What we need is for you those interested is to send us an email about your group and what you do and your national teams predictions for their group games. We then will invite the group to exchange and communicate over email and video.
The project is managed by Richard Wood “Like most people I love football and see the benefits of the game uniting people from different cultures. The World Cup is a great opportunity to unite groups of people and exchange and work together to create something to show to the rest of the world. One day we hope that football can achieve more sustainable goals in people understanding and respecting each other.” Wood is working alongside football poet Matt Nunn for the delivery of the exchanges with the young people.
