Anyone drinking beer in Dusseldorf on Friday night?

Yeeees! 4 days to go! Me and my 3 mates will be in one (probably all) of the following on Friday night.

'The city's biggest and most famous brewpub is Zum Uerige (Bergerstrasse 1). The pub's name is German for "The Grouch," but the atmosphere inside is anything but grouchy. Stay here long enough, and you'll see workers unloading 10-litre casks from the dumbwaiter and rolling them across the floor to a bar elsewhere on the premises.

Two pubs are located close to Zum Uerige in the Altstadt: Zum Schlüssel (Bolkerstrasse 43), with a brightly-lit stand-up bar in the front and quieter rooms toward the back; and Im Füchschen (Ratingerstrasse 28), often recommended for drinkers with an appetite. Ferdinand Schumacher (Oststrasse 123), the city's oldest brewpub, is a large establishment located just outside the Altstadt.'

I arrive in Dusseldorf on Friday morning and leaving on Sunday. I was intending to get the train over to Dortmund for the Friday night party.

If my plans change I'll be certain to look out for you all.

The Altstadt is jokingly known as Germany's longest bar and this isn't far short of the truth. There are an enormous number of pubs within its boundaries. For a night out, there are few places to rival it in the whole of Europe, if you're after decent beer.

i was planning going to Dortmund to watch the Germany game but then thought bout going Cologne instead since ah done going Dortmund the next day
But since allyuh go be in Dusseldorf ah might as well stay home and lime with allyuh

Meeting Pals in the Uerige at 3.00pm on Friday, might have a wobble up to Gelsenkirchen for the Poland v Ecuador game or might just stay put if the craic is good to watch the Germany v Costa Rica game. Should be a blast either way.
